Our government can't be trusted. They lie alot. You can imagine them saying the jet crashed during a heavy rain whereas, someone just said there was no heavy rain in kaduna. They'd just say something to make people think it was caused by bad weather. The plane exploded in the air... an eye witnes said so. Had the bad weather been an issue or its possible cause, the COAS would have been advised not to fly or the jet diverts its course, worst case scenario.

I remember Arotile's case as well. How can a car reverse on a road with speed bumps mounted at intervals, now hit someone and the person would die just like that when she wasn't lying on the floor and got run over by the car? Common!

I also remember when abacha was in power and he wanted to eliminate our uncle Gen Diya his second in command then. Thank God for that brave and loyal officer who hinted General Diya of the heinous plans of abacha( may his soul rot in hell) . Abacha had sent a delegation to mourn General Diya family even when the plane had not been reported crashed. He sent a team to commiserate with his family shortly after take off of the plane which eventually crashed as plotted. Gen Diya had to divert his course to a hostel where he was watching his death announced on NTA.

Earlier today, I got news of another positive case of #COVID19 admitted to our facility in Akure. The case of this individual who is a police officer is unique. He was tested in Lagos but came to Ondo state while awaiting his results . Upon receiving a positive result.

He claimed to have returned back to Lagos. According to him, he waited a few days in Lagos to be picked up. When this failed, he panicked and rushed back to Akure for treatment. While we appreciate the confidence reposed in our facilities, We do find it most reckless on the...

Part of the officer of the Law to risk the lives of others. I am most disappointed in the level of porosity of the entry points to the state. The police officer should know better. I have contacted the commissioner of police to double up on securing our entry points.

The head of the Anglican Church and the Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Reverend Justin Welby has expressed shocked and sadness over the death of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari.

According to Presidential Spokesman Garba Shehu, the Archbishop letter of condolence dated April 21, 2020 addressed to President Buhari, the revered world religious leader said he recognised that “the Chief of Staff is a role on which one depends more than almost any other,” stressing that occupants of that strategic position “need to be trusted and willing to have your interests most closely at heart.”

According to the Archbishop, who is a personal friend of the President, “The fact that you entrusted Abba Kyari with your messages to me and to others demonstrates the faith you have in him,” adding, “I am sure that his death is a significant blow to you personally, as well as to your government.”

“This letter therefore brings my condolence at the loss of a man who struck me as remarkably intelligent and thoughtful…” he noted, while also extending his commiserations to Mallam Kyari’s family.
