Yes, you can. There are people giving the GRE soon who have started applications already. It all depends on the school's/programme's application deadline.

The idea is to submit your application before the deadline.

Good day house, pls is it possible to commence application to schools while preparing for GRE retake to obtain a better result, then have the old result replaced by the new one? Recently wrote for the first time, scored 296 (not impressive), actually found several schools accepting the score but I intend to increase my chances for funding. Applying for Master of Public Health, Fall 2019. Thanks

@femi312 When giving advice, U don't come up being all conclusive and start question people's achievements, Pls add more to your courtesy level (no hard feelings bro). I know what SOPHAS is, how the body works in conjuction with schools of Public Health, coz I have done my research and started applications in schools with good reputations in MPH. I saw coming up to this platform as a plus, coz I can see there are great minds here with huge experience to benefit from in order to keep all things in check.
