Those experiencing problems with their Infinix Hot 2, are you sure u r using the original hot 2 or a fake? I have seen several fake hot 2 out there with their owners not having a clue if its original or not. I have been using a hot 2 for over 14 months now and I haven't experienced an issue, likewise alot of people I got it for. I just wanted to get y'all informed. Please check if ur phone is genuine. Happy new year people.

Please what link did u download the CM OS from and what theme have you been using

It won't change back if you don't factory reset... It's what am using see the screenshot above

And for those complaining about the notification light, just go to your various apps and change the notification lights there and it would be effected. Also the notification sound plays only sounds found on your internal memory, so if you have a tune u want as ringtone move it to internal memory before setting it as ringtone or notification sound.

I didn't see the update till March so I think whenever a new security update is rolled out, lollipop users get an update of mm with the new update. So u should just wait for the April update to show. U would eventually get it ... Google confirmed that about 4% of androids have gotten the MM update so be patient sir/ma

Been following this page even before I got my hot2 but haven't been commenting.
I was one of the landers scared of the MM6.0 update but I got a 638 MB update and installed it with this IDC attitude and Shazam it was not a disappointment. So lemme address some fears
1. The new 638 MB update is a March update not the January one, so it doesn't contain the usual bugs that everyone complained of in January
2. My bb imei remained unchanged, still browsing with glo bb absolute which I think is the best.... First time am using just 1gb in a week. Just make sure u change the imei before updating and don't do a factory reset.
3. The new update allows u to see ur files but u need to go through file manager to use them. It doesn't save files to SD card tho even if you select it.
Note: don't use ur SD card as internal memory if you still want to use it on other phones and please make sure u clear cache of ur apps before updating: u can do that from ur apps in settings. The more internal memory space you have the less reason to reset to factory settings.
4. The battery draining bug is a 3G problem... Used EDGE for more than 10hours now withe the 2200mAH battery, which is an improvement to lollipop. Am a game and app developer so understand that I consume battery for a living
5. One sad thing is ur apps with data like large games might not see the data. Happened with my mortal combat X and God of War. Probably get rid of ur apps with additional data before updating, save u more stress.
6. I noticed the sound system was alil lower than usual and my mic wasn't that loud too but well I can still hear. Mm6.0 comes with a sound enhancement tab which u can use to your advantage
7. BBM seem to lag on my device, a new update solved that
8. If u have a problem with ur phone consuming MB, download noroot firewall and lock up ur MB... Well I don't have a MB problem
9. I use psiphone with glo and it speeds up download speeds of apps like Snapchat and co
10. Marshmallow is an amazing OS, just take your time to understand her. Human nature is reluctant to try new things. The camera has been refined and it looks sharper with the selfie camera HDR
11. You can restart ur phone and it won't update, u have to give it permission to update even if download is automatic.
12. Marshmallow has some very cool behaviours I didn't see mentioned in any blogs... The smart lock on body detection is one. Ur phone stays unlocked so far u r holding it and locks immediately u set it down. Also Marshmallows improved on security.

Extra: for those who do presentations and the likes download livescreen from playstore and enjoy ur presentation from your phone to your audience without touch the laptop of external display.


Any new discovery would be mentioned in later messages. So don't be scared of installing that update and just to be on the safe side use Super backup to backup ur contacts and maybe ur apps. Ur contacts would not show after the update so either u restore from super backup or you just have to readd ur Google account

My Hot is blazing hot without rooting or any extra tweaking, yours can do the same. Waiting eagerly for the April update and not especially the MM 6.0.1 which comes with the new emojis and several other stuff.
To anyone still contemplating on buying the Hot 2 please be assured that you won't get a better phone for that price. This is a Google project phone in an infinix case, most people don't understand. U are enjoying a Nexus in an infinix case. The phone is better than it is made to look like, having all the advance tech Samsung bills u 100000naira for.

anywhere u r coming is far to kebbi state.... The only near-by stAte is sokoto state and is about 2hrs..... To be kindly the state is to far to any south west state.... Ib-kebbi 11-12hrs fees #6000 mini bus, long bus #3500. From lag to kebbi roughly 16-18hrs fees.. #6000+.... So if u are coming from Ondo state...
