Rexhenrex:True though even in developed countries. But some people still make against all odds, and that can inspire others or even spark a revolution |
Lalasticlala, this is worthy of Frontpage. Let my people vote na |
Option 5: The "connections" you are able to make. Relationships with people in top positions. |

Option 4: Went to the best schools but aren't children of politicians but rather came from wealthy families like the dangotes or maybe not as wealthy as that. |
Option 3: Children of political behemoths who have also built a name for themselves. Went to ivy league schools and are well respected in their fields. |
Option 2: Offspring of current political caucus. Children of political behemoths. Went to the best schools abroad, not necessarily successful or qualified to be called an intellectual. |
Option 1: Successful, Educated children of the common Man. Individuals from humble backgrounds who have built a name for themselves in their respective fields |
Each arm of government since Obasanjo's regime has always touted the "the youths are the future of this country" and therefore, "we have to empower the youths" when issues youth-related is raised, especially on NTA back then, and currently also. This current administration took Promises to a whole new level, from increased NYSC allowance to N5000 stipend, all aimed at Empowering the youths. Anyway that's not the reason for this post. So the question is: "are the youths really the future of this country?" A very difficult question. Even though those below 30 today will eventually be political leaders tomorrow, is it when they (we) are 60 or even 70 as we have now. Whatever the case maybe, the reason for this short epistle is to ask "which class of youths will make up those leaders of tomorrow? Offspring of current politicians? Offsprings of the average hustling Nigerian parent? Use your likes to kindly vote below. |
dustydee:NO. 120 students max, class capacity, over 150 |
I used to go for 7am classes in OAU. Almost always punctual. My point? Is this nonsense supposed to be celebrated or what?! What has happened to the reasoning capabilities of the average Nigerian youth?! Edited: It is a shame that punch newspaper found this news worthy. A slap on their face Infact. |
This is not good for our nation in the long run. We will face the same problem America faced with the Likes of JD Rockefeller, jp Morgan in the early 1900s, where a few men could hold the country to ransom. |
What better way to prove that this woman is a shameless hypocrite, seeking public approval to subdue her evergreen inferiority complex. (Def intended) The Bible clearly goes against declaring to the world about fasting like the hypocritical pharisees and sadduces did. Useless woman, I'm wondering how her children cope with such hypocrisy. I hate hypocrites. By the way, she should rather pray for a job! |
I have an article that proves emifiele a retard coming soon. What many Nigerians don't know is that even though the central bank pegged the exchange rate, it's still spending billions of scarce forex defending that fixed rate, because if it doesn't the black market will destroy the CBN. Exchange rate, pegged or free flowing will always be determined by demand and supply in an economy like Nigeria's. Useless policies on top of piles of useless policies. Enough said. My article is loading. |
The lekki gardens Estates. Security, price, 24/7 electricity. They are the best, enough said. Stayed at Romay Gardens Estate lekki, Opposite Nicon town, chevron road. |
I can see don jazzy fans blabbing nonsense all around. Don jazzy is the real childish one, Infact extremely childish and proud, I was never cowed by his shenanigans on twitter. Going on stage to say that rubbish was the height of pride and immaturity. Olamide never called your name or the name of your group, but don jazzy felt he is a don, a god who could do as he likes. Olamide's reaction is over the top for most people including me, but if anyone of you could reason, you'd know that, that is what his music preaches, street gangsta culture, and he's simply staying true to himself and his message. He's not being an hypocrite. Enough of the story, this news is simply propaganda. |
I'm not from Niger delta, but you all used them like rags and want to dump them now. I won't say I feel sorry for them, it's simply karma taking its toll on them. Karma has meant investors avoid the north like plague now it's Niger delta's turn. I won't join in on the daylight mastubation going on in this thread, but I hope Niger deltans learn some lessons, and stop being Nigeria's pompous and brainless side-chick always available for booty-calls. Oil price will bounce back after a few years. |
Magician1503:And in one year! This Government must think we are fools. |
