This is a beautiful won battle praise God Congratulations mehn sen2paco: Morning all,
God has won the battle for me! It's the Lords doing! Grant landed this morning.
After a series of phone interview and email correspondence the CO finally gave way.
Lodged on 10th June Got to pretoria 14th June CO asked for medicals 24th June Did phone interview 29th June She asked for further documents from then till 8th of July. Anything she asked I gave her and she was surprised.
13th June she wrote she's ready to give visa but resumption has passed and that I should collect letter of approval from school for late resumption.
I got my CoE revised at 50 dollars. Sent it to CO yesterday
This morning grant came in!
I give a holla to the wonderful that's been supportive and encouraging here and privately: Cottyekundayo, Dontee5star, bellong, cool Mel, AlvinKem and all.
To other hopefuls, you shall not be disappointed and your wait will soon be over.
Nairaland is really helpful. Probably God lives here. |

Today the flood gates are opened Congratulations dami Demi10: Praise God my family visa was granted at last, some few minutes ago. It was not that easy at all checking mail every second to get response from Pretoria, I give all glory to God. My advise is this, please and please try and apply for your family when you are lodging your own application, I didn't know we could apply together when I did as I was scared by people I talked to here, I was misled by them, to avoid unnecessary stress and tension, try all you can to apply together. For all those who are still waiting, may God almighty do a quick work on your grant, you shall not be disappointed in Jesus Name |

Please send me a pm Ill like to ask some questions DareFadi: It been answered before ...... Let me copy and paste previous response
Yes you can transfer after getting the visa to another school (provided you have admission offcourse) . Best to start it after you cross POE
The process usually is that you notify the current school's international office of your intention to transfer. The current school adviser will then have to transfer your SEVIS record to the New School with a transfer out date given. Until that transfer is done then new school cannot issue you a new I-20 (F-1 status).
You would be expected to fill out a new i-20 request form in the new school and once transfer is done and you get the new i20 then off you go .
The key to transfer is that your current school should release your SEVIS to the new school…If they don’t for whatever reason then hummmm you have a problem . If they do then, it is not complicated process |

Lol no too vex Bogus to him means something positive shinerpoly: @AlvinKem yes it might be bogus to you and to ur own opinion, but yielded meaningful result @ appropriate time. Remember it took them 7 days to process my application. If it was bogus u think reasonable people in Pretoria would processed my application without checking further.
Check dictionary before u apply words that comes to your mind.
Thank u |

Thank you very much Walspring: ACT Compass is an untimed, computerized test that helps your college evaluate your skills and place you into appropriate courses. ACT Compass offers tests in reading, writing, math, writing essay, and English as a Second Language (ESL).
You can get more info from act.org and I am not sure if the exam is conducted in Nigeria but SAT is conducted in Nigeria
Some school make use of SAT or ACT, I am sure if you tell your school that you have SAT then no need of writing ACT |
