Very sad.

It has become very common to see boys living in Benin, either doing something like this for themselves or their girlfriends. And still, Benin remains one of the least developed places in Nigeria, and their bad roads should be in the Guinness Books of Records, while their old houses makes Ibadan look like Dubai.

Exactly the same character they display outside Nigeria, especially with those living in Europe. Good Governance is not an individual thing, so to the guys bursting Champagne and pouring it on an empty ground, gather the money together and use it to repair the roads in your town or even use it to buy wrappers/Gold Earrings/Handbags for your moms, instead of just pouring it away on the ground.

Nobody who earns money legitimately, acts like this anyway.

And the funny thing is, they always crawl back to their fathers "Compound" where they have a room to themselves, after this show of wealth.

And usually on threads like this, you will see one smart guy or girl ask that question NA YOUR MONEY?or HOW IT TAKE CONCERN YOU? yes it concerns us as long as it has become something public.

We have a say in a public thing.
Nothing but true, that is how they behave in Europe also

TravelGhana Uncovers Fake US Embassy That Issued Authentic Visas by tociano009(op): 6:08pm On Dec 04, 2016
Ghanian authorities have busted a scam US embassy operated by a criminal network that issued US visas for a decade, according to the US State Department. It is unclear how the gang obtained legitimate US documents.

The fake US embassy in the capital Accra was housed in a run-down two-storey building until it was shut down earlier this year.

Citing Ghanian officials, the Reuters news agency said a US flag flew outside the building and a President Barack Obama portrait hung inside the office.

"It was not operated by the United States government, but by figures from both Ghanian and Turkish organized crime rings and a Ghanian attorney practicing immigration and criminal law," the State Department said in a statement released on Friday, December 2.

According to the State Department, Turkish citizens, who spoke English and Dutch, posed as visa officers at the sham embassy. A fake Dutch embassy was also busted in the capital, however officials in the Netherlands haven't yet confirmed it.

The criminal gang issued illegally obtained but authentic US visas and other documents at a cost of $6,000 each (about 5,600 euros), the statement said, but the US State Department did not say how the ring got hold of original US government documents.

It is also unclear how many people had travelled to the US using the documents that were issued by the fake embassy that operated in Ghana for a decade.

"These criminals running the operation were able to pay off corrupt officials to look the other way, as well as obtain legitimate blank documents to be doctored," the State Department explained.

US visas are in high demand in Africa. Western embassies say the visa market is a big target for criminal groups.

The real US embassy in Ghana is a fortified complex situated in one of Accra's most expensive neighborhoods.

Ghanian authorities have made several arrests with links to the fake embassy and have seized authentic and counterfeit Indian, South African and European visas and passports from the premise.

Foreign AffairsAnother Great Victory In Africa As Gambia's President Jammeh 'to Concede Defeat by tociano009(op): 2:12pm On Dec 02, 2016
Yahya Jammeh has been in power for 22 years
The Gambia's President Yahya Jammeh is about to concede defeat, the electoral commission chairman has told the BBC.
Mr Jammeh, who has been in power for 22 years, faced estate agent Adama Barrow in Thursday's election.
Electoral commission chief Alieu Momar Njie said it was unprecedented for a Gambian head of state to accept defeat before the final results.
The West African country has not had a smooth transfer of power since independence in 1965.
There has been no official word from Mr Jammeh, who took power in a coup in 1994.
The 51-year-old leader has been trailing Mr Barrow in partial results and was defeated in the capital, Banjul, his stronghold.
Africa Live: More on this and other stories
Behind The Gambia's smile
A devout Muslim, Mr Jammeh once said he would rule for "one billion years" if "Allah willed it".
"It's really unique that someone who has been ruling this country for so long has accepted defeat," Mr Njie told reporters.
Analysis: BBC World Service Africa editor Mary Harper
Mr Jammeh's concession has been greeted with astonishment in The Gambia, where most people expected him to win. He has served four terms as president but it now looks as though this unpredictable and ruthless man is to be replaced by an estate agent.
Mr Jammeh's 22 years in power have brought repression and intolerance to this tiny seaside nation, popular for cheap holidays in the sun.
He has been tough on journalists, the opposition and gay people. He also said he could cure Aids and infertility.
During the campaign, the country's mostly young population seemed to be yearning for change, said the BBC's Umaru Fofana in Banjul.
The economic challenges the country faces have forced many to make the perilous journey to Europe, with some drowning on the way, he said.

Adama Barrow has proved popular with younger voters
Human rights groups have accused Mr Jammeh, who has in the past claimed he can cure Aids and infertility, of repression and abuses.
Several previous opposition leaders are in jail after taking part in a rare protest in April.
Observers from the European Union (EU) and the West African regional bloc Ecowas did not attend the vote.
Who is Adama Barrow?
Born in 1965 in small village near the eastern market town of Basse
Moved to London in the 2000s, reportedly working as a security guard at Argos department store while studying
Returned to The Gambia in 2006 to set up his own property company
Won the presidential nomination in 2016 to lead coalition of seven opposition parties
Has criticised the lack of a two-term limit on the presidency
Has said he would introduce a three-year transitional government made up from members of the opposition coalition if he wins.
Gambian officials opposed the presence of Western observers, but the EU said it was staying away out of concern about the fairness of the voting process.
The African Union did despatch a handful of observers to supervise the vote, however.
The Gambia, a tiny country with a population of fewer than two million, is surrounded on three sides by Senegal and has a short Atlantic coastline popular with European tourists.
