Thanks for the comments, I had a good laugh while reading. 1) I guess insults is part of FFK's politics, remember the recent one with Jimoh Ibrahim. So I think he understands insults and cyberbullying more than "respectful disagreement". 2) Some people almost turned it to a tribal issue when even the person involved had no intention of that. 3) All comments have been relayed to the affected party and he has asked to put down the post. On a personal note, I just want to draw our attention to the fact that all those who are or have been in key decision-making positions in our country are or were offsprings of our political forebears who have brought us thus far. Then I wonder how you and I, or maybe just myself alone, "the son of a 'Kapenta'" will survive the polity of the future if we go on recycling leaders, either good, bad or ugly. Another interesting fact is that many of those who stood up to "insult" the leaders back then are those who are in-charge of our polity now. Gracias. |
I would say the whole crux of the story is to see how much he can take as he goes about talking trash and making a mess of every situation. "People who live in glass houses should not throw stones", they say. |

So earlier today, I read several posts from our dear Uncle Femi Fani-Kayode on the recent capture of Samsiba forest and BHT. And tonight after rewatching a 2hr video on the history of Nigeria and the role Baba Chief R. Fani-Kayode played as Deputy Premier of Western Region, I got inspired to call him out and probably plead with him to stop his misleading us. Corruption cannot correct corruption! The best response he could give was to block me from his Twitter account, and I am still wondering what type of leader/ politician he has been relegated to. |

7) The level of intolerance in the society baffles
me, the average Yoruba man will not greet you if
he sees you are physically challenged and poor.
Again, check it, once a group of people from a
tribe sense that you don't understand their
language, they will abuse you, especially my
fellow yorubas.
How long will the leaders and our elders
continue to push us to speak while they mute the
microphones when we speak truth and knowledge,
and increase the volume to the loudest when we
speak the jargon out of our nimble minds?! |
Out of 10 persons who claim to be radical in this generation, 4 are politicians (liars and conscience philanderers), 3 are cowards, 1 is an oportunist. - tWp The leaders have taught us to deceive and play on one another's intelligence in this generation. 2) When I hear elders say our generation is a "wasted generation" or a "careless generation" I smile on the outside but shake my head on the inside. (I agree to the fact that our generation is a "misled generation", and that's all I'll ever agree to for the time being) 3) Everybody wants to blame someone for their predicament, and no one will own up to being the one behind the downfall of the other man. 4) Every Nigerian has become a politician, corruption is not only in terms of finances, the average Nigerian has a "fantastically corrupt" mind. 5) The society around me apportions about 50% blame of all the ills of the youth on children from broken homes, then the internet, the mass media, etc but then I ask myself what the society did to save homes at the points of breaking. 6) I ask why the society places so much stigma against many things and circumstances, and yet do nothing to avert them. The average Yoruba man will not greet you if he sees you are physically challenged and poor |
