RomanceRe: What Can Make U Divorce Your Spouse? by tofeenab(m): 7:01pm On Nov 01, 2011
For those who are not married yet, it is better not to get to the level of divorse after marriage. Before marriage, ensure that you go into it with one reason in mind. That you want to spend the rest of your life with your true friend When marriage consideration is based on the "Exterior" rather than the "Interior" it always leads to divorce. By "Exterior" i mean good looks, height, color, weight, etc while "interior" means Character, trust, friendship.
SportsRe: Samson Siasia Sacked. Next Super Eagles Coach To Be Chosen Next Week by tofeenab(m): 7:25pm On Oct 28, 2011
[b]It is so sad that Nigerians have become sentimental as regards the Coach of the Super Eagles.
I want to say that Samson siasia was not cajoled to sign the Contract that had the clause of qualifying for the ANC.
Where he made the mistake was signing that contract with such a clause.
He should have negotiated beyond the Nation cup, period! Since a contract has to be respected, he sure had to go.
Am sad about it considering the fact that he had not spent up to one year on the job but the right thing had to be done and i must say that NFF got it right this time.
It is surely a lesson for SIA ONE!
Finally, i will still want a local coach to take over from him.

PoliticsCan We Conclude That Some People Are Above The Law? by tofeenab(op): 5:59pm On Oct 02, 2011
I have posted this because i want discussions & opinions on it.

I have always believed that nobody is above the law. What we have is that the law is only applied subjectively and to benefit those in power.

If people are above the law, Bode George would not have been sentenced!

What do you think?
PoliticsRe: Tinubu's Trial Is An Embarrassment To Nigeria - Prof. Tam David-West by tofeenab(m): 5:10pm On Sep 27, 2011
I want to believe that Tam David west was simply "ms-quoted". I cant imagine David west degenerating to this level! What does he mean by Tinubus Trial is an Embarrassment to Nigeria. I use to have gr8 respect for Tam, but with this statement , i am really taken aback/ shocked! Is he saying that trial for corrupt "rulers" have a time frame else it should expire? Does he not know that Tinubu was immune d from prosecution while he was in office? Please, please if  Tam does not have anything to say at present, he better just shut his trap and stop embarrassing himself!

PoliticsRe: As Fashola Declares Austerity Measures In Lagos by tofeenab(m): 8:18pm On Aug 01, 2011
look at rivers for example the guvnor says his monthly wage bill and allocation are 10bn and 13bn respectively, but his budget is 400bn, that means that the state get another 200bn+from other sources of revenue, and its same for other states or can the money from other sources of revenue not be added to pay workers, the only states to be exempted are those where the wage bill takes >50% of all revenue not just fed allocations.

Rivers states have just won more oil blocks from Akwa Ibom, I believe they dont have any excuse at all!
PoliticsRe: I'm Being Persecuted, Tortured - Ex-speaker Bankole by tofeenab(m): 1:08pm On Jun 09, 2011
I am amazed that the EFCC could come up with these mere 16 count charge against d Fmr speaker after all d 'noise' & 'drama' made over his arrest!

Am asking why the speaker will be involved in procurement when he has more important duties to do. Is there no procurement unit in the House, that he involved himself in these deals.

Nigerian leaders sure condescend too low when they get to public office.
PoliticsRe: Democracy Can Only Work If We Are Paid Jumbo Allowances - Rep Member by tofeenab(m): 7:02pm On May 24, 2011

PoliticsRe: Lagos Is Owing N124b by tofeenab(m): 2:03pm On May 21, 2011
Am really shocked! Hope this is the real figures!
Tinubu took us to this same part, now Fashola. How much of this debt was inherited And how much was incurred during his(Fasholas) tenure?
World Bank giving Lagos state Govt loan to support the Budget? This is to put it mildly! It mean WB is supporting a bloated budget which has been desined to continue to be in deficit till 2013!
Is the commissioner saying that after 2013 we will have budget surplus and the debt profile will reduce?
QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, & QUESTIONS begging for Answers!

PoliticsRe: Full Text Of CBN Circular Limiting Cash Withdrawals & Deposits by tofeenab(m): 7:13pm On May 02, 2011
I am really alarmed that Nigerians are aversed to change! This Policy in the first place should be looked at more objectively.
First, it is not going to take effect immediately. We still have about 1(one) year to fully come to terms with it. Secondly, we have to start getting use to other forms of making Banking transactions without rellying on physical CASH.
Thirdly, People saying they will dig holes at home to keep thir moneys, is to say the least, laghable. It means they are ready to face the robbers, one on one.
Fortly, Cant we see that the CBN is trying to allign the Nigerian Economy with what obtains in other climes.

It is understandable that Nigerians are used to carry cash around but i wish to implore us to take time to understand the policy between now & 2012 than continue to condem same without any plausable alternative.

Nigeria, change your Cash Cash Attitude!

BusinessRe: Bank Directors With 12 Years Experience Must Quit – Cbn by tofeenab(m): 3:44pm On Mar 21, 2010
I am really alarmed at the kind of opinions people tend to propergate. What do they mean by sacking experienced individuals. Like someone said they all in the board will not go at once as not all of them will be 12Yrs when the time to exit comes! Again they are not prevented to go to other boards to be made Board members. Please we should not trivialise this issues as it was not sanusi that made the policy in 2006. Why are we now saying that it is another sanusi policy to collaples the economy and sell it to foreigners! GTB has served notice without being prompted by CBN. All those Banks that have not implemented the policy are doing it because of selfish reasons. They dont want to break the existing Carbal!
Nairaland GeneralWho Is A Manager In The New Cbn Controlled Banks? by tofeenab(op): 9:17am On Mar 20, 2010
With the new wave of change sweeping the Banking industry under the dispensation of sanusi, who can we now say is a MANAGER in any of these present Banks. This question has become pertinent considering the fact that the focus of the Banks will(has) changed. We will no longer be faced with the craze of wanting to send people out for deposits now since rates have crashed seriously making it even burdensome to keep idle funds. The new Managers now have to be creative, devising very ingenious means of generating fund and making profit for their institutions. We can put the question in a more apt manner, WHAT WILL BE THE NEW FUNCTION OF OUR NEW MANAGERS considering the fact that there is no more free funds.
