You can do that by going back to where you registered. I registered at jamb office and they changed it for me when I laid down my complain, even though they fraudulently collected #500 from me, I just had to give them due to the fact that I was the one that made the mistake in the first place.

In addition, I lost my scratch card as well. So those are the excuses they used to collect #500 from me.

Yes, if you do Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in your undergrad, you can do Mechanical or Electrical Engineering for your Masters. Yes, you can work as either of the two (your undergrad field or the field you specialized in for your Masters). People can do that here; I'm not sure about Nigeria, though.
