jchima14: Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote is now the world’s 23rd richest man, according to Forbes. Dangote moved 20 spots from his earlier position of 43rd richest and has also been named the world’s 68th most powerful person.

My question now is that since most of his wealth comes from Nigeria what has he giving back to the nation that makes him so wealthy? giving back to the nation is not when you start giving and donating money like Santa Claus. He has many plants and factories that employ Nigerians and pay their salary. Many traders buy and sell his products on wholesales and retails to earn living. He pays his tax and there are taxes on his products. What about the donations and supports to the NGOs and the donations to disaster management? Aren't those enough to rate Dangote as giving back to the nation? |

Aigbofa: Bro, all bad marriages have consequences regardless of where it happened. My opinion is that some people get married without knowing what it takes to make it work or for totally wrong reasons. ya, most of these people come home to pick the damsels thinking african woman will always have and live by the african mentalities not knowing these ladies will eventually go wayward as they begin to be conscious of the environmental differences in culture of the husband-wife relationships. I believe you know there is an environmental influence on marriage stability? |

Aigbofa: What about hundreds of thousands of bad marriages between Nigerians living in Nigeria? What is responsible for that? I think if your marriage is going to crash in Sweden, it will probably crash in Nigeria too. bro, i don't think i support this your post. The issue now is not about the crash marriage but the consequence and aftermath of the crash. Marriage crashes everywhere, irrespectives of the the geographical location. Citing the Simon case as a study, if it was in Nigeria, both of them would just be disjointed by the court and the guy wouldn't be imprisoned. Also, nothing like the woman claiming all the properties acquired by Simon. |

What if your wife works in a place where she closes by 8-9pm? What will happen to your kids and your home? i don't know why i've never love the african magic gurls anyway. I believe in parents most especially mother getting close to the children cos of the parental care and guidance. Who will take care of these children when neither of us comes home during the day? I don't believe in house maid. |

I can't allow my wife to be a full-time house wife, neither will i allow her to work in a place whose closing time exceeds 2 o'clock for her to have time to take care of my children.
Not as if i need her salary to run the home, only that i don't like her being idle and useless for 6 hours daily. |

Agozie48: this can't be true...Prince Williams isn't serious... if he truly wants to give up the throne then something is wrong its not because of family. maybe a blackmail somewhere in the family forget that! It can be true and stop bringing african sentiment to the issue. What about King Edward VIII, King George VI's(Queen Elizabeth II's father and predecessor) brother and predecessor that abdicated the throne just less than a year as the king to marry Mrs Simpson Wallis, a divorced woman having two husbands alive?. Just because he couldn't be the husband to a divorced woman having two husbands alive and a king. |
