To be sincere, I feel the Kai’s performance at the Liverpool is his best performance since he joined Arsenal. 😁 He did his bit. He didn’t ghost. Unlike in previous matches, we could see him receive pass, give pass, and make runs. He got into position that got us the first goal (though he missed, thankfully, Saka converted). Won a couple of fouls. Havertz pulled fouls from Kanoate until he got red carded. I know he did only the bare minimum but it was better than his previous performances in Arsenal’s jersey 😁😁 A big shoutout to general Jorginho. 😎 1 Like |

MetalJigsaw:All these Osimhen to the bench no too gbam in my opinion. I doubt Onachu and Moffi can hustle the way Osimhen does upfront (I may be wrong though). Like many people have suggested here, we need someone playing very close to him because other attackers seem to drift away from him since they all expect the final ball to be to him. The main koko is that he needs to start scoring the chances he gets. 1 Like 1 Share |

Odunayaw:Guirassy has only played 63 minutes (which was their last match against Senegal) because he has an injury he still recovering from. You expected him to score 7 goals (with injury) against the defending champions within 63 minutes? 1 Like |

Philosopher1979:We need his goals more than anything because it’s obvious that our attacking tactics revolve around “all ball to Osimhen.” Unless that changes in the next round, his goals are more important just as these things are important. 1 Like 1 Share |

akwesenana: Make una Dey calm down. Guinea is not super eagles and Guirassy doesn’t play for us. So whatever happens with them is none of our business. Our business is with the super eagles and our players. Osimhen can’t be misfiring in a competitive game like this (where all chances count) and expect us to all shield him from criticism. We were lucky neither Guinea Bissau nor Ivory Coast didn’t score before us. What do you think would have happened if they did? What do you think will happen in the knock out stage if our opponents score first and our striker keeps missing chances? Of course, we are on our way out. We hope Osimhen find his scoring boot in this next round because we really need it. Besides, Guirassy has only played 63 minutes in this tournament because he’s still recovering from an injury. His first game happened to be against the defending champion. Abegi. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

This AFCON na die. Mauritania, out of nowhere, just stole the second spot for best losers. Gambia almost did it too but fumbled. All eyes on Group E and F tomorrow to see countries that would snatch the final spots. Underdog Teams to watch-out for are DR Congo, Namibia, Zambia, Tanzania. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Finally. We survived Ivory Coast. Defensively, the super eagles turned up. Kudos to Ekong, Bassey, Ajayi (he really surprised me), Onyeka, Omerou, Aina (man of the match for me), Nwabili. We need to do more in the attacking department. We could barely string 3 passes together too. Lastly, Osimhen needs to understand that he wouldn’t be getting 5 or more chances per game with our style of play. So no room for wastefulness in front of goal. I hope we tap our own 3 points from Guinea Bissau in the last match. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Spy360:When will he click? When will he unleash the so called potential? After 10 seasons? The same Kai we all watched at Chelsea for 3 season whose only highlight was his Champion league goal in the final. Here we are hoping he will click for us while serious title contenders like Liverpool and Man city have solid players in all departments with alternatives if anyone messes up. We hope to win a title, yet Arteta is busy shoving “when he clicks” down our throat week in week out when we know the team is going against two monster teams (at least for now) for the EPL title. We wouldn’t even be having Havertz talk if the coach had used his brain to buy a performing player like he did with Rice. Everyday, Havertz this, Havertz that. Smith Rowe or even Zichenko will give more while playing his position if given the same opportunity. 2 Likes 1 Share |
