Notepad is the mother of all WYSIWYG design stuff, personally I combine dreamweaver, frontpage (which is a cousin to Notepad) and Web Expression, I've been in situations where after using a WYSIWYG software i had to return to the real code to amend some things ,

Yeah you could be right to say it's because I dont know my way around those other softwares but really that could be true cos I learnt all of them in my room,

But at any time Notepad is like DOS if you don't know wat u're doing U're done,, believe me staring at a blinking insertion point can be frustrating, It's one of the reason i'm as good as I am today years back I had a stupid experience wit insertion point,

Really I personally think it's the peak performance of these so called ISPs that matter for instance my multi links in Ogun State is bleeped you'd probably peak at 15kbps and on regular basis I can assure you'd get 1kbps - 3kbps, When I came to Lagos my bros EVDO starcomms was peaking at 128kbps and averaging 15 - 20 kbps.

Now i'm on a wireless stuff both at the office and at home I don't even pay shit, thanks to my estate and office, we use swift at the office and it's not that fast sometimes it peaks at 50kbps but I'm yet to find it go past that,

The area might be a problem but I never even tried multi links in Lagos wen ppl say they're good I'm always like NO WAY like th say first impressions count, DOPC messed up a cafe I used to work back in school so they're also out I'm suprised no one's mentioned LINKSERVE and KOOCHI or ACCELON i'd like a report on them


The broadband we have in Nigeria like every other thing is the Nigerian version,
Overseas broadband feature like 8mbps - 11mbps in NIja that one na dream

hey thanks for the tip I think we're all growing to bridge the didgital devide but we'll get there so I checked out a site I designed on the optimizer and my results were fair just some mild cautions i'll pay attention to, thank God I used css, so where exactly are you in I J cos I'm also Ij based maybe we could learn from eachother I always look forward to learning,

OK truly I agree wit most posts to some level but I'd like to tell you my part of the story

I'm presently on IT at NIIT Ajah and I can tell you that apart from the basic problems which we may face everyday (that are quickly solved) I think it's the best IT firm in Nigeria as they have reasons and results to show for it.

I support the center stuff really because at my center everything runs smoothly and u'd have to switch the AC off urself wen u want to freeze! The systems are ON and Available complete with datafiles thru the day and the staff are well qualified and certified at thier various levels, well maybe becuase my boss is also an IT guru and wouldn't take rubbish guys, u even have to take exams to work here!

Truly the price you pay is not a justification to expect the impossible (that is) going from IT illitracy to guru in 6 months without burning the midnight candle on your own,

I was also quite experienced myself before I could even be taken as an IT student but wat I've learn from interactions and the available textbooks have made the dark areas bright,

I would like to point out the problems with Nigerian students, because we pay much cause of our bad economy, we always want to emphasize the money more than the reason we paid the money!

ok I wouldn't want to sound too NIITish because really they dont pay well and it's the indians exploiting us

Hi all, the whole concept about the tithing issue and the relative is only occuring because as at the time the relative appears on the scene the tither was already on the wrong path, u don't tithe after every other expence has been paid you tithe FIRST and then other expenses, Believe me if you tithe first even ur relative might just get healed cos of your tithing or u'll just get some funny money to pay your relative's medical bill, Nice discussion @ All
