Jobs/VacanciesRe: Change Of Date Of Birth On National Identification (NIN) by Tomeee: 3:42am On Jan 08, 2022
It really doesn’t take long. Mine was even more complicated. I did change of surname due to marriage, change of middle name and rearrangement of name (my middle name came before my first name on my old passport). Mine took about 3weeks to a month cause I didn’t know the arrangement can be an issue later on. Note: I didn’t do it myself, I contacted an immigration officer there in Abuja to help me because I stay in Lagos. I gave her my documents, wrote a letter to the comptroller general, captured and travelled back to Lagos that same day because I didn’t know anybody in Abuja. She sent my passport through dhl when it was ready.

That's the country I find myself in.
Everybody working at snail speed.
I applied in Nov 2020 and it was this month the change was done.
I'm happy anyways.
Pls don't let anyone dupe u that it can be done in 10days.
It's a LIE.
The modification is done ONLY at Abuja after the DG has considered ur application and it is verified that ur initial DOB is incorrect.
This process takes time.
At best, 5-6 months.
So, start now if u genuinely want to modify ur DOB.

Good you know..
Their system isn't porous at all.
Nor be naija.
Bad market for all these bloody scammers.
So you think it’s the system that automatically generates the dates itself?. Anyways, I used to think same too. The person works there at the embassy. I didn’t believe as well. I had to request to meet him in person sef to be sure. The advise I give people and follow is “don’t pay anyone without meeting them first and verifying that they won’t dupe you. That’s all

[quote author=Spiff006 post=108587051]Are you for real??
you joined nairaland today, with only three post, and you are claiming to have gotten help from a lot of people here. hmm... you must be a daft scammer.[/quote

I’m not new here. I tried replying using my old Nairaland account but it wasn’t working. Thats a proof. That’s why I had an account opened today. More so, you really don’t have to throw out insults. Anyways, I understand it’s Nigerians that have spoilt other Nigerians.

Not everyone is a scam. I’ve gotten help from a lot of people on Nairaland. I remember wanting to do change of name on my passport and someone here helped me connect to an immigration office in Abuja that made the whole thing easy for me. So……………

Is there any way to pay to be able to do interview within 2 to 3 months of booking for appointment?

To bypass germany's length of time it takes to be called for interview after booking
I know someone who can help you with this. There’s currently no appointment date available but I was able to get one thanks to him. Even though I had to pay for it.
