The court is in order. The meeting was originally convened in March but later postponed. The time frame was duly observed. Besides the constitution says they meet quarterly. The 7 days notice is in case of an emergency meeting. The quarterly meeting is long overdue as observed in the OP.

When you give a seven days notice, you state when the meeting will be held in seven days time....this is a two days notice.

Let the Appeal court vacate the order first though i'm not aware anyone has appealed against it. All those PH judgements are a nullity because they conflict with the FCT court order which asks him to act as national chair. Or if he does not parade himself as a member how can he act as chair. Those orders are a nullity and the advice given to Buhari by his lawyers recognizes that. Let it rest.

So I just went through APC'S constitution, and you're right about the first sentece, but the NEC meeting is still illegal... In this case, the purported invitation was illegally issued on June 23, 2020 and the meeting fixed for June 25, 2020 which gives notice for only 2 days. I concede that a shorter Notice period of 7 days is allowed under APC's Constitution as stated in 25(b)(ii) above, however, a majority of the members of NWC must have voted to summon such a NEC meeting and that was not the case in this instance.

I don't get, but most NEC Members belong to Tinubu's camp, or will minority win?

Those court rulings and his suspension were all jokes from the APC house of comedy. A court of coordinate jurisdiction can't give a conflicting order to a subsisting court order that will make it seem like it's sitting on appeal. Besides, he can only be suspended as a member by his ward being a national officer just as it happened to Oshiomole. The state APC can't suspend him. You guys should go and get conversant with APC constitution.

The way everything is ehn, it's dicey for APC. Gaidom has been suspended as a member of NWC, and if he were to be the party chairman, then he doesn't have the authority to convene a party meeting. I've said it before, APC will split before 2023, very certain.

we never know who court will declare as the duly elected Governor of Edo state, because their will be a lot of court cases.

Tommorow's meeting has two problems, 1. Gaidom has been declared not to be a NWC member by the court, and 2. Only 2/3rd of NEC has the right to call a NEC meeting, and it has to be done 7 days to the meeting.
