Lamentations wey no change anything. He is part of the problems Nigerians has faced or currently facing. Subsidue removal, increase in taxation, what have they achieved so far? Will they used the money realized for whatever it's meant for? No. Wetin u dey talk? Abi u no dey Nigeria to dey cap these things? nairalanda1: Reactor or not, the man has highlited serious problems that need adressing.
But when governors try to adress such problems, you Nigerians protest. El rufai of kaduna came in with a mandate to improve Kaduna's education sector. He started by trying to remove deadwood teachers and replacing them with good teachers. Nigerians in Kaduna and nationwide joined the local NUT to stop the move.
And today, Kaduna continues to have poor education outcomes...because we were far more interested in keeping bad teachers in a job instead of bringing in good teachers.
As for funding...the same Kaduna is supposed to spend 120 billion on education...when that money is shared among the schools and the big state university , it ends up being tiny chicken feed. Yet when things like fighting corruption, improving tax intake, removing subsides on power to ensure that there is enough electricity to attract money and investments, and tax revenue to improve the budget...we go protest, so we rely on oyel money which cannot feed one state, talkless of 36 of them.
Obi you are calling reactor at least tried to improve schools by handing them back to misisonaries...but for some of you , he is basically doing nothing.
Anyway, we can always shout agbado and obident, and blame Hausas , Ibos and Yorubas ...forgetting that nothing has changed in decades. |

Dem manage do road you no thank God. They kuku don't want to do anything before. Na God go save us for this country. Konquest: There are NO side walks here again (while piling huge debts running into billions of Naira for incoming administrations to settle). I wonder what's wrong with some of these government folks in Nigeria that they love to build roads without pedestrian walkways... And they get applauded by those who are clueless OR do NOT understand what global-best practices or standards entail. It's unsightly to see open drainages on some of the roads in a place like IB and other major cities... it's a sign of significant underachievers tbh. |

No be only ajimobi. Na ajirebi. He is the worst governor ever. Kilometres: You don't say.
Ajimobi is actually the best except for his loud mouth.... the only issue Ajimobi had was that he talks to people any how like a typical Ibadan man.
Ajimobi introduced a lot of reforms in education, health, transportation (Ajumose), roads (mokola bridge n co.) ... Makinde is building on those transformations.
This was why Ajimobi became the first governor to break the two-term barrier |

Funny guy. As if I no get people wey attended public school and colleges of education. That little difference you think it's insignificant is very important. Plus there are several other reasons why people end up there. Amotolongbo: As if I knew his complex will make him spew irrelevance.
First, before Tinubu came in, there was no really significant difference between the fees paid in many of these public Colleges of Education and public universities. Your point on the school fees is baseless. You attend(ed) a school which is about the money so you can’t understand how low the public schools could be paying.
Again, private university is more about the money. You can’t understand how things work in our side, so face your side |

Reckless assertion. Some couldn't afford university fees that's why they opted for college of education. And some due to one reason or the other are doing part time of which faculty of education is always the best for that. It's not all people that went to college of education or in faculty of education that are dullard. And it's not everyone that studies in the university or other faculties that are good. Amotolongbo: Nigeria!
The Colleges of Education have the least UTME cut off mark. This means the olodos are the ones sent to the Colleges of Education.
Even in the Universities, the least UTME scorers are packed and dumped in the Faculties of Education. Students who could not cope in their respective courses are also transferred to the Faculty of Education.
And we want the best teachers to graduate and teach our children? |

How many Japanese, Chinese are Christians or Muslims? And the British, American that answer the names, does it the name drag them backward? Does it make them lag behind in anything u dunce. Dummy Africans always quick to blame foreign religions/names/culture for their backwardness. Even before the oyinbos came, hw dem meet Africa? Waging war against each other, capturing and selling each other as slaves, killing their fellow man to appease the gods. Or did you think Africa is more advanced than the whites and when the whites came, they dragged Africa backward? The same democracy that British, Americans and other countries practiced and they excelled, look at our own democracy. As Africans, our advancement lies in our mentality. Until we can change our greedy and selfish nature, nothing is going to change. realmindz: This is the excuse you have to sell your identity and confuse it? You are not that smart. Technology, innovation and education has nothing to do with losing your identity completely. How many Japanese or Chinese or Indians do you see bearing John, Paul, Abdullahi? Check out all the races in the world, only Africans lose it completely. And your ignorance makes you think education, technology and science is owned by a specific race or nationality. It’s a contribution from people from different parts of the world and races. Africans were on their path of progress, although isolated from the rest of the world before the whites came. Look at the Egyptian civilization, it remains the most advanced ancient civilization. Look at the statues, they are blacks. Africans lost it at a point and an eroded heritage and lose of self confidence is responsible for our current backwardness. |

Yes , Mmesoma Bleep up, but the most important thing is, even when she was exposed, the legitimate top scorer of that year Jamb was still a girl from the east, Anambra precisely.

Funny guy. You have problems with names but you don't have problems with running to their country either legally or illegally. You don't even have problems with using their ideologies, dresses, education. You should have stick with everything African. You shouldn't have accepted the education that is alien to Africa, you should be wearing agbada on Monday, isiagu on Tuesday, danshiki on Wednesday etc. I bet you also like eating at McDonalds etc. Contradiction is the nature of man. The paradox will never end. Kinikini: The Africans who think they know the most when it comes to religion are the most gullible.
If your religion makes you drop your African name for a name alien to Africa, and which you do not even know the meaning at times, that is the simplest confirmation you are gullible. |
