I have 2 years experience as a senior support worker in UK. Has anyone moved to Canada through this route, how was the whole process?

Let's wait for others to contribute but I think you should go ahead and apply for the visa with the expired passport than going out of status. Worse case scenario, they write back and ask you to send your new passport

The Visa came out today ! Thanks. They didn’t say nothing about the expired passport but i just had strong support documents and proofs that’s it.

It’s actually quite sad! I dabble here and there with dropship and make constant 3-4K a month to survive this hard country . Now they said if you make more than 1k you will be taxed, ontop the tax wey they want use kill us for our main job. Issokay😤

I am desperately in need of your help. My student visa expires monday. My Nigerian Passport renewal biometrics was done a month ago (collection date according to them is 31/nov/23) I am trying to apply for my PSW now and it would'nt go through with my expired passport. has anyone been in this situation before? how did you deal with it or do I need to contact a lawyer. I do have proof of passport renewal application though.

Univ have been overwhelmed with application this September hence most closed. If to say around this time last year, almost certain to get one.

When will visa expire?

I knew sept intake would be massive this year. That’s why I came with May intake jeje.
They extended his Visa till September 29 I presume

PS;- he’s already in the UK. He finished his masters February this year, so he’s not eligible for the 2years psw.
We’ve tried couple schools but they said it’s too late.

Sch said CAS issuance starts late June or early July. So I didn’t jump to conclusion, I know he meant May.

Yeah, they snubbed my mails and msgs too on the CAS shield. But when I fina sent a mail to Nisirina, she did the chasing up for me, then told me what exactly went wrong and how to fix up. So I’d suggest you mail Nisrina Ramadhani too.

Not to scare you or anything. There’s definitely a problem somewhere but they won’t tell you. So mail The CAs team tomorrow and ask what the P is. I was in your shoes lol. Took 4 weeks and 2 days to get mine instead of 3-5 days other people are getting.

Idk I just feel weird and want you guys to help check if the statement is ok.

This is not true, So far you graduate with a minimum of second class and you can find a job after your studies, you're good to go.
Concerning dependent, what they are saying is that you can only claim someone to be your dependent while studying, once you get your post study working visa, you cannot claim a dependent any longer. So, if you are married, let your partner or kids apply for their dependent visa while you are still studying.

Yea, got an offer from them. Just read the offer letter /mail throughly. They explained everything in the mail . Although , I still called them for more clarification Sha.

I got an offer for September intake 2020
I did TB test (X Ray) in August and it was abnormal. I submitted sputum for further screening so I deferred to January intake.
TB result came out negative in November

Online Application: 3rd December
Biometrics: 8th December

No decision mail. The waiting period was not easy at all, it was so frustrating
Collection mail: 20th January
DHL delivery: Today, 21st January
Previous Refusal: 2 Uk visit visa refusals
Country visited : Dubai

God has indeed been faithful to me and with Him, all things are possible.
