Politics / Re: ECOWAS Says 'D-Day' Set For Possible Niger Intervention by toneroforever(m): 1:15pm On Aug 21, 2023 |
Slurity: We are grappling with serious economic & security challenges. Why should Tinubu be bothered about Niger's internal affairs. ECOWAS was set up for regional economic integration. Niger is a sovereign nation. They can impose crippling sanctions to oust the junta rather than war which will cause Islamic terrorists like ISWAP, AQIM, BH to invade our country more. A bloodless coup shouldn't warrant an unnecessary military intervention at this stage considering the fact that over 75% of their citizens support the coup because of the way France exploits their natural resources. The citizens see the junta as nationalist & they are ready to end the West"s neo-colonialism in their country....same with Mali & B/Faso. Tinubu shouldn't enmesh Nigerian in a NATO Vs Russia proxy war, except of course he's trying to be in their good books to see if they can validate his illegitimate regime. |

Slurity: That's grossly insufficient. Mind u, u don't solve economic problems by just giving out money. How many lives will be impacted & how much will each person get. For instance,a state with a population of 5 million means that on the average, each person will get N1000; which can't even feed u for a day. He should have reintroduced say 50% subsidy which will impact on the cost of living by reducing it, while he uses the remaining 50% subsidy savings to gradually fix the refineries. |

Slurity: Being a Tinubu ass licker shouldn't deprive ur brain from functioning. Our economy is in a deep mess as a result of the subsidy removal without a plan to cushion the effects. Instead of focusing on our home affairs, Tinubu is rather preoccupied with invading Niger over their internal matter just to get validation from France and US. |

Rostikol: Although I don't need any invasion of Niger at this moment, but I must agree that u made sense. However, the security implications of a war in the Sahel will have far reaching consequences in our country that can worsen the security situation in the north & perhaps the south as well. We should consider the fact that northerners don't want this war & avoid it. Our national security interests should supercede the economic interest of the West. The pipeline construction can be suspended for now until peace and stability is restored in Niger |
Politics / Re: ECOWAS Says 'D-Day' Set For Possible Niger Intervention by toneroforever(m): 12:39am On Aug 20, 2023 |
Slurity: Oga, Niger's internal affairs is not our priority. It isn't our headache for crying out loud. U r buying petrol at N617+, USD is N800+, cost of living & inflation are at an all-time high....yet what bothers u is the coup in Niger which incidentally over 75% of their citizens support. Please tell Tinubu to stop deceiving himself by fighting US & France's proxy war, even that won't confer legitimacy on his administration.. Let him get to work because there is so much to do here.. Start by fixing at least one refinery |

Ur water & land have been polluted beyond redemption yet u can't challenge the govt to ensure that this injustice stops. One day,una eye go clear but pray it won't be too late by then. 4 Likes |

NaughtyBrainiac: Oga, ur ranting is unnecessary. Ur principal is fumbling on all fronts in less than 3 months in office..... 1) Subsidy removal created hyper inflation and more hardship. 2) Dollar rate is almost $1000 yet u vilified GEJ when it was 200./$ 3) Tinubu's ECOWAS preference for military intervention in Niger's internal affairs thereby fighting France's proxy war. 2 Likes |

Rolings: R u dumb or something? PDP/Ikpeazu handlers r well known propagandists. Everyone in Aba knows that Otti just awarded his first set of road rehabilitation contracts ( about 9 of them) just a month ago and people are aware of the progress of work despite the rains. Oga, Otti isn't in their league. He can't resort to cheap antics of those losers.. |

BeautifulMind2: Ok... It then means u r probably not well informed about the situation in Abia. U need to understand the love Abia indigenes & residents have for Otti. Neither Ikpeazu nor his intended successor, the PDP governorship candidate,Okey Ahiwe went to court to challenge Otti's victory. It's only the criminals & party stalwarts who looted the state dry that r in court. Abians detest PDP, they are vampires. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

BeautifulMind2: Looks like u r an Abia PDP apologist. PDP should bury their heads in shame for their abysmal performance in Abia in 24 years. Nothing can ever bring them back to power in God's own state.. We would rather have a performing governor like Akpabio or Emmanuel Udom rule in Abia than anyone in the mold of OUK, T.A Orji or Ikpeazu. 1 Like |

AllenSpencer: Tinubu has been a STRONG advocate for democracy way back.... My brother only the gullible buy that shit u just said.. Tinubu's definition of democracy is..."snatch it(ballot box),grab it and run away with it" & every sensible Nigerian knows him for who he is. Tinubu is a strong advocate of vote buying (recall the bullion vans incident in 2019), voter intimidation through the use of his thugs, electoral violence ,voter suppression, rigging, ballot box snatching. |
