Though I am not from Osun state but I can say that the outgoing governor has managed the meager resources allotted to the state very well despite the debts he met on the ground.
People campaigned against him because of Tinubu and don't forget Osibanjo did not intervene; and don't forget also Aregbeshola's fight with both Tinubu and the governor.
Well said

ALTERNATEID:
Oyetola is the best governor in recent years in Nigeria looking at the way he managed the extremely poor finances of Osun state. Aregbesola accumulated so much debt and still couldn’t pay workers salaries. Oyetola did not borrow a dime, paid back some of the Aregbe debt, paid workers as at when due, did some capital projects and still left money behind for the incoming administration.

Sadly, any governor that is prudent with state resources is not always popular with the people. We prefer the governor that accumulates huge debt and share everything to political cronies and state elites. In the next four years, we shall be here God willing to do a postmortem of the Ade Dancer administration.

Hopefully, President Bola Tinubu will take this guy to Abuja as Finance minister next year. He’s an excellent financial manager. We need folks like him to manage the finances of this country in this period. Posterity will be very kind to him.
I agree. Oyetola cleaned up the fiscal mess Aregbesola left behind.

Unfortunately, the Osun populace didn’t appreciate it.

Well said.

Lagos shortlists three bidders for Fourth Mainland Bridge

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0wDymJkdfa7Z8vnhokRrMG4WQqN8Q1uB3YmT3GQVZyGjZdasiVd7o6HNEzvbM2HfHl&id=100064441879510&mibextid=Nif5oz

The Lagos State Government, through its Office of Public-Private Partnerships, has shortlisted three bidders for the construction of the Fourth Mainland Bridge in Lagos.

Speaking at a media briefing on Saturday in Lagos, the Special Adviser to the Governor on PPP, Mr. Ope George said the three bidders shortlisted for the RFP Stage II are Mota-Engil (Nigeria & Africa) CCCC & CRBC consort; CGGC-CGC Joint Venture and CCECC & CRCCIG Consortium.

This was contained in a statement released late Saturday.

George explained that the fourth mainland bridge project was a Public-Private Partnership transport infrastructure development, which included the construction and operation of a green field tolled road and bridge with a design speed of 120km/h, including the development of adjacent real estate.

“The bridge is expected to span about 37 kilometres, starting from Abraham Adesanya in Ajah, on the Eti-Osa-Lekki-Epe corridor and transverse from the Northwest towards the lagoon shoreline of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway via Owutu/Isawo in Ikorodu”, he added.

The Special Adviser said the idea of constructing the fourth mainland bridge was aimed at reducing severe congestion on the existing Third Mainland Bridge while opening new areas for future development, noting that the project is expected to cost about $2.5 billion.

CYBERSOLDIERSre:
I pity those who don't understand what you're saying.

What you're seeing was a conspiracy by the Yoruba and Fulani to weaken those areas that produce oil and gas.

The easiest way to deal with a family is to divide them, cause enmity between them and that's what they did to the Eastern region. No Igbo is ready to take or claim what belongs to another community let along drag what belongs to another state.

If you're from south south, or east the earlier you embrace yourselves as one, the more united you will be and the more powerful you are. Don't be deceived, its only when you become a single block as you used to be before you experience development.

F.A.C.T.
The Yoruba doesn't want you to be developed.
They want your zones to remain in ruins.
Yoruba's are the reason why no seaport in the eastern region/south south is working. They know that your brothers the Igbo's will withdraw their investments of trillions of Dollars and move it to the old eastern region.

There are more secrets to be exposed as to why Yoruba's are fighting tooth and nail to make sure that Igbo's and their brothers in different old eastern states don't agree or speak with one voice.
What do the Yorubas have to do with SS/SE matter huh

That's not my problem. You claimed that LFTZ made other investments possible. Using your google search, can you pls tell what those other investments are?

Are you saying that if there was no LFTZ and dangote wanted to build a refinery, it would have been impossible?

Also from the screenshot below, does it say anything about Tolaram coming after LFTZ was conceptualised?
Tinubu is a visionary leader for conceiving the Lekki Free Trade Zone (LFTZ).

Since his conception of the zone in 2006, the Lekki deep sea port has been built in the zone.

Other investments in the LFTZ can be found here

Are you saying that you didn't do google search before you concluded that there are other investments in LFTZ? Are you saying that you lied or made an unverifiable claim when you said "other investments"? If there are other investments as you claim, why can't you clearly state them using your own "google search"?

Are you saying that if there was no LFTZ and dangote wanted to build a refinery, it would have been impossible?

Pls read the screenshot below
I said Tinubu was a visionary for conceiving the LFTZ and that

Tolaram was the investor that came in after the LFTZ was conceptualized by Tinubu.

So you didn't do google search before you concluded that there are other investments in LFTZ? If there are other investments, then do your "google search" and provide a list of those investments.

Are you saying that if there was no LFTZ and dangote wanted to build a refinery, it would have been impossible?

If Tinubu "conceived" LFTZ, what did Tolaram group do?
Tolaram was the investor that came in after the LFTZ was conceptualized by Tinubu.

Please do a google search for the investments in the LFTZ. Thanks.
