othermen: Davido supports his family as most of us would have.
Davido didn’t tell the Osun people any other basis of such support or endorsement.
Davido knew his uncle would engage in vote buying and yet performed an outlandish display of hypocrisy by pretending to condemn such corruption; when he and his family cohorts sponsored same.
Was his uncle the most qualified or even competent? Davido don’t care, except assisting his uncle fulfill a long term dream of becoming the CEO of Osun’s treasury.
Would Davido aid his uncle towards competence or does Davido feel he owes the Osun people a duty of ensuring they are rightly governed and their resources, appropriately spent? Davido don’t care, except assisting his uncle fulfil a long term dream of becoming the CEO of Osun’s treasury.
Now Davido’s father definitely would be the minister of procurement and supply and be the recipient of state contracts he is not competent for.
Adeleke victory is a win for the Adeleke family, not so much for the people of Osun. I agree with the bolded part wholeheartedly. Very well said. |

nisai:
Some might argue that it shouldn't have been there but Abeokuta. Well, I believe the governor must have done his feasibility and viability studies before taking the project to Ikene Lg. However, it’s fine by me. It will open up that axis for development and economic activities.
It will bring succour to farmers in terms of transportation and exportation. This will encourage more people to farm.
More jobs to indigenes which will in turn boosts our metrics and HDI in Ogun state.
I love it. I agree; it’ll definitely bring development to that axis no doubt. Illishan Remo to Abeokuta is about an hour’s drive, so the airport wouldn’t be too far from Abk Some are saying the airport was sited there because the governor is from that part of the state. I believe Babcock University is in Illishan Remo as well. Gov Abiodun seems to be spreading out his few projects across the state and not just Abeokuta, which is commendable. |

pansophist: Enjoy my guy, But I use God's name to beg you, live uprightly. I know say to live rough de sweet and come easy, but as someone wey don live for the west for almost half of my life, I be like that old dog wey see as young puppy wey dem just recruit go just dey bark and vibrate, until they shoot am. He think say we wey stay calm no sharp, say we no get sense, but na empty can de make the loudest noise, and the first to be silenced
1. Avoid debt. To me, it's the next thing to slavery. You are a slave to whoever you owe. So don't go and collect money from banks because they advertise cheap loans give you, or go collect cars and phones on credit. Don't tie your life as a wage slave just because you want to ball and oppress people, you don't need that. The desire to pepper others usually comes from a place of ego, low self-esteem, and foolishness. So don't go and enslave yourself to jobs to pay monthly debt just to pepper people who don't give a shit about you, and will rather envy instead of celebrating you.
2. You see woman, run. Unless she is a good one, then stick to her for the long term. Sex is the cheapest thing in the west, especially in America, the headquarters of porn and all kinds of degradation, caging young people who can't control themselves. The US is not like Naija where you ejaculate and evacuate. If she is pregnant, then you go pay tired. I know one fine Naija guy, yellow like Ramsey Noah, get three baby mamas, and effectively a slave in my book. What's the point where you cant see your salary because it has been shared with all your baby mamas? you don't need that kind of slavery, my bro.
3. Focus, focus, focus. The west is a place that reveals yourself to you. If you are lazy, you will know. It's an epiphany really, and that realization is not a good one. Nigeria does one thing to lazy folks, and it is that it prevents you from knowing who you are, since the system is so bad and creates a lot of obstacles on your path. But in the west, even if you are broke like a broken bottle, you will earn if you ain't lazy. So man up, or woman up if you do ever transgender, but focus. Know why you are there, and work towards it. You won't be younger, stronger, and youthful than now, so don't waste it.
4. Lastly and most importantly, don't forget your parents, unless they were not there for you when you are young. Take care of them, don't joke with their affairs, and let them be happy that they trained a good son. This is coming from a place of love, so please please, be responsible. May God bless you, it shall be well with you dear comrade, in Jesus' name, Amen. Great advice |

KashApp: I don't really reside in Ekiti but I come always and my 2 sisters work here but still, I can still tell you some things sha.
He's a Nigerian politician nah so you don't really expect something different. But lemme be factual here, Ekiti state especially Ado would still be like a bush if not for Fayose. That's the fact. Now let us ask ourselves, what did Fayemi really achieve in this second tenure? Let us forget about people for now...let's talk about development in the state. I will take my time to make some point here cos I don't know who is who and I don't know if you will pass the message so please, kindly take your time to read it too.... please! I so much love Ekiti and I want that state to develop. Just few months ago, Fayemi started performing some how from Road construction to rehabilitation of roads, to airport project, the bus terminal, Ekiti Knowledge zone and all that....then, I asked myself, where was this man since he was sworn in 3years ago? Why this late? Some people said, Ekiti doesn't need an airport then I ask them, do you know that airport will attract investors in to the state? Do you know it will provide jobs directly and indirectly? Where was Fayemi 2-3 years ago? Why this late? Ado Ekiti, the state capital's road is so poor. A very small state capital that I expect a visionary leader to be able to work on and make looks good. Ekiti as a state has fair roads linking towns and villages to each other compare to so many states in Nigeria and the good news is that, Fayemi constructed more roads in some towns and villages recently too. Ikun Diary Farm.... A great project that I would love to see more of it. So if I'm to rate him, I will give him 4.5/10. I hope BAO be better. Thank you very much for your candid response. I doubt Gov Fayemi can complete all his projects (rehabilitation of roads, airport project, the bus terminal, Ekiti Knowledge zone etc) before he leaves office in October. |

KashApp: I voted Chief Segun Oni but since our people sold their votes, then congratulations to BAO. What is important is for our state to move forward. I pray BAO be a blessing to the state and perform wonderfully well. Chief Segun Oni as an elder should support him for the betterment of the state and the people. @KashApp, as an Ekiti man, how do you assess the performance of outgoing Gov Fayemi? I want an opinion from a resident. Please be honest and sincere in your response. |
