I'd advice that non scalpers should look very well as the eu has every look of a bullish continuation to at least 1.35.

15, 30 and 1hr tf about to positively diverge. 4hr tf has the resistance broken and daily has a further alignment with weekly. Looking pretty good for the bulls to have a jolly ride. Of course, referring to the eu.

For those going short, know that the 1.3300 is a resistance that is now broken and so will act as support. Except otherwise, we may just have begun the trip to 1.35xx

1.3511 beckons between today and tomorrow.

The long awaited 1.3320 just got touched. Now will wait for a dip to go long to 1.35

You've said it all bro but getting to identify the support/resistance and the strength of such support/resistance are where the real questions lie.

usually a tough nut for lots of trader folks to crack isn't it? Had to spend 3hrs today taking someone through the intricacies of what you have branded as barriers.

I see 1.3320 as the main barrier to conquer. For me, daily and weekly are still very bullish and we should see 1.34-1.35. When he says psychological barrier he refers to a strong support/resistance lines to go past.

We see differently bro and we take trade decisions based on different reasons so we approach the market differently. You might not be able to hold onto momentary draw downs while some other can. I personally took the buy positions cos I'm going to be very busy for a while in the week and might not have the chance to get a better entry. i also have pending buy orders. Why? cos weekly is very bullish so we only need to go past the 1.3320 mark to have a freeway up.
Are we smoking something else? probably .

Just bought gu. Ready to leave them to roll as I would be away from the system for a while.

I am buying eu and selling uchf here.

Okay, here is what i see. On the weekly chart, we have a hammer, on the daily, 4hr and so on, it getting back to previous lows where you can almost draw a support line, also the bears appear to have lost steam as the downward move is stalling. I'd be on standby to buy at 993x / 991x area and that's if it gets as low as that.

Buy buy buy? hmmm be careful with your buy buy buy, EU has been struggling with going more bullish since the sudden surge, maybe the fuel tank is emptied? same with GU. all other pairs against JPY is actually looking too high for me, dunno why JPY had to give up alot of pips within few hours.

My sentiments exactly.

Same with gu. Their 4hrs even have bearish divergences.

Eu is looking likely to head south all day. daily isn't just looking bullish yet to me.

What a day!!! Everybody is quiet today. . .from odiaero to methodman to concept to honeric to tojoan and even Ogboraph. Not to worry though, that is why the SL was invented and must always be the trader's best friend. And also the reason a trader must always avoid over-trading.

Tonjoan was messed up today because he failed to see the bottom and divergence on the 4hr but was saved by the sl. One off-colour day you'd say?

You're not wrong either, but what happens to small traders with 100-200pips SL? when they strike, these small traders cry. i think it's too low for any slow trader to short from, hence the reasons for my "sermon"

It is very very rare for a 200 pips spike against trend. Very rare.

  Strictly from experience and from past history. how do you catch a good kill? you set a trap for them, make the trap attractive, create comfort for the prey, then strike GBOAMAMAMA, that's how the big boys and the corporate entities operate. 

once the smaller boys gather around thinking they have seen free meal to eat, they catch them unawares.

Let me ask you, who create the trend most of us follow? something or some group of people do right? they can also decide to punish anyone or everyone else by changing the trend or halting it. it's like a game, but in this kind of game, people shed real tears and end up bankrupt.

I am not saying what i have said so far in a 100% confidence way, i am just saying DO NOT MARRY ANY TREND, IT CAN CHANGE ANYTIME IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT THEY MARKET IS SAYING OR THE LAGGING INDICATORS ARE SAYING.

My call comes with an SL which is 1:2.

so no risk no reward.

I pretty much understand where you're coming from hence the shared sentiments. However, I think there's an erroneous impression from some of the points you have posited. please don't get me wrong as we are only trying to educate one another.
In trend following, certain factors come together to announce trend change as well as trend continuation. It doesn't matter how much stop loss hunting the big dogs do, they still stay in the flow of the trend eventually because markets, irrespective of the instrument are traded on the principles of support and resistance. I tell you, with a sound knowledge of support/resistance, candle formations and patterns and divergences you'll know a trend is still on-going or has gotten exhausted.

I'm looking at 1.2948 before the surge from this evening to tomorrow.
