Now watch the time dealing tactics of the egyptians
Typical with the North Africans when they are in the lead and it is near end of regulation time

I'm really amazed at the weight Ghana has brought to this match against Egypt. Thumps up black stars

All d players were outstanding in ths match bf d substitution and am most impressed wt Kanu,Shittu and Apam. Others did well too and they gave all their best including Nsofor wt hs excellent run past d defenders to score d winning goal. Super eagle needs strikers dat has pace and dat reminds me, had it bn Yakubu dat got dat ball? your guess wld be as right as mine.
Very precise commentary. I'd only add that Odiah showed that Yusuf is not in his class

Will you shut up that your dirty mouth. You silly Man U fan. Is Mikel the only player in Super Eagles?
I think we shouldnt sacrifice good ball play on the alter of the clubside we support. I have a soft spot for Chelsea which I dont give to any other clubside not even Barcelona that gives me the kind of rythm i like to see on the pitch, yet i know that Mikel is no goo news to our football. Yes we have an average team but look at them all critically you'll see they are trying to hold thier departments however poorly but Mikel just doesnt separate his central/creative midfield role for the SE from his DM role for chelsea. This is not about giving a dog a bad name inorder to hang it, but Mikel and Aiyegbeni are not it for the SE.

We need someone who get attack for mind rather than pass the ball to the keeper.
Rabiu Ibrahim, Lukman Haruna, Azzeez and a few others are way better replacements for Mikel. If only we have a coach who isnt interested in playing names.

e no go beta 4 U, how can u wish somebody that?
I will never give in to cursing. That remains my wish anyway if that will wake his game up. I like him as a person but he brings sorrows to millions of Nigerians whenever he dorns our jessey. I may have said it harshly but i really dont fancy the ugliness he gives our entire team
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Algeria Nations Cup [1 -0] by tonjoan: 6:44pm On Jan 30, 2010
Very soon this Mikel will loose balls upfront and give the algerians loads ofcounter opportunities

I hope Mikel is learning how to be a creative midfielder from the the aged Kanu
SportsRe: 'Quit Now!' Okocha Urges Kanu by tonjoan: 12:59pm On Jan 18, 2010
If only Kanu would read this. I personally Idolize him first for his unwavering patriotism and  then for the the artistry he added to the soccer. This sadi, he should know the curtain is fast falling on him and should quit now before some mass of the respect he's earned fast elude him. Perhaps he might be looking at the likes of Seedorf, Beckham, Inzaghi, Campbell, Henry and a few who are in same football age bracket as him but he should know his body strenght has waned drastically and his legs cant carry him anymore.
When your body cant take your your intelligence in a physically involving endeavour it is a call for a quit
RomanceRe: The Perfect Man (where Is He!) by tonjoan: 10:49am On Jan 18, 2010
@OP: If indeed you find a perfect man, what then will be your role in his life? If you find a 70% guy, the rest of the 30% will come from you and that's why relationships are like a business deal. The guy who is 100% to you, if he exists, will never take you cos he doesn't need you (unless you are also 100% to him? That's like at least one chance in 10,000)

mavenbox, mavenbox, mavenbox. hmmmmm. You hit it right on point the way an experienced and highly understanding lady should. Been looking for a post of yours that will be deflated yet you keep covering your paths well. Keep being the good counsellor.

PoliticsRe: America Takes Over Nigeria (my Dream) by tonjoan: 2:54pm On Jan 10, 2010
ocelot2006:
Wrong. I would argue that Nigeria has become far more integrated with every tribe (from the majority tribes to the minorities) having an equal stake in the welfare of the nation, thanks to equal representation in govt, & other cultural factors like increased inter-marriages '& resettlement. Don't get me wrong, there're still a number of inter tribal issues still faced by the country. Then again, which multicultural nation doesn't face the same, from spain (basque) to malaysia (malays against ethnic indians or chinese). Sadly, we still have a number of people with their civil war mentality, blaming all the nation's woes on a single region rather than take into consideration the actions of their fellow ethnic brothers and sisters. Thankfully, they're fast becoming a minority group.

So think whatever you want, but the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA is here to stay. The nation's integrity is DEFINITELY assured.

Say it loud and clear, over and over again.
the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA is here to stay
Well, like the poster said it was only a dream. A comical one at that.
