naijaking1:True talk, your posts here have said it all as a complete judgement from what we all saw and also from what we heard the white man say. I don't know why choco5 would call you a goon, but I know you certainly aren't the goon, judging by the posts between you and him. Thumbs up man |
I hold my heart in my hands. I fear for the bleak future I think is brewing. I tremble at the spate at which amity, unity and oneness is disintegrating. What relationship legacy are we likely to pass on to our children? I get scared to come on to Nigeria online fora these days because I'm almost always certain I will get to see these childish but very destructive put ups. Why are we quick to cast a general outlook to a tribe when it is one out of tens of millions that is the subject in focus? Why do we so malign a religion even when it was unnecessary to do so? What has the Igbos travelling for the holidays got to do with them being so rudely bashed as instigated by varo57. I'm overwhelmed with indescribable lethargy knowing that our generation which is supposed to foster the bond of unity amidst diversity given our education and enlightenment is the very one demonstrating rancour, strife ,bitterness and hatred at their peak. I wonder if you guys would allow true love make u embark on inter-tribal marriages. I'm pretty sure you'd even want to dissuade your kinsmen from attempting it and if he (your kinsman) gets obstinate, you'll threaten him with being disowned. Thank you The Amaka and olafolarin for not being consumed by this ugly monster. varo57, on a serious note what you started is very callous to say the least. Lets be accommodating of one another for in actual sense we are family. |
Mary xmas and a Joseph new year to you all . Love you all to marrow. |
This AlloyEmeka u de always sabi crack my ribs ooo. If them break u go pay for ribs surgery ooo |
I can only laugh. @ mavenbox, how have u been? |
@ Epi, very lovely thread you've got here. With all sense of humility, I think I do have the characteristics but do feel like I never did as the girls I've dated do take me for granted. I often wonder why most 21st century ladies fancy guys who makes them whine and grizzle and show them little or no affection. I only pray God brings my way a lady who deserves such niceties. |
blackasia:I love your sarcasm bro ![]() otukpo:You don talk am finish. He may have gotten justice but providence will speak for the governed |
My man Noetic has spoken well! I dont do all biddings of any man of God, i need a confirmation in my own spirit. Now let me tackle this secularly and advocate for the defensive. @OP, what do you think about football stars, hollywood stars, musicians & standup comedians? Are they deserving of their earnings? The Bible says we are not to muzzle the ox that treads the grain because a labourer is worthy of his wages. The ox should eat freely out of the same grain field that it works on. There are people who will give any sum of money to see Beckham face to face or shake hands with Drogba, or support Kanu Heart Foundation with the last money on them. People have died because they wanted to see or touch Michael Jackson. Kanye West creates controversy, annoys many people and makes sales off it. Dbanj will always use dirty innuendo to pass across sensuous messages, but some people will do anything he says. Are all these people deserving of the attention or financial benefit? My point is, what is the beef? Is it the undue attention and people-control? You cant say your complaint is cos of religion because some people's religion is hiphop and whatever the music industry says, they do and nobody raises an eyebrow. And i have never seen anyone complain about the undue amount paid to the gods of the soccer religion. Never forget that for some people, all the hope they have ever had in the world was gotten in the church. If your point is about taxes, there i will agree with you. But its too bad that if taxes are instituted, poor churches will have an even harder time while the rich ones will still manage. And unlike companies, you cant sell shares to raise revenue for the sinking churches. What happens then? If men have chosen to follow another man and do anything he says, (not anything at all, i hope you understand it is within limits) out of love and respect, there is nothing you can do about that. Thats how the world works. Those who dont take the lead pay those who are ahead. If you were not there when he was labouring in prayers and the word for the congregation, who are you to judge if he is paid for his services? Just to be clear about this, if you are one of the church members, you may have the right to speak of what the pastor deserves. For those of us who are not, we do not know what makes the members do what they will so I think we should not condemn them. Leave it for God to judge. If they were ministering lies and deceiving people for monetary gain, thats a different matter. As long as they are not teaching falsehood, God wants us to mind our business, lest we fall into error. E.g. John 21:22-23 If others do not understand you I do. The snag with your post is that words failed you in conveying precisely what you had on your mind. I must salute your cultured responses to views against yours and your person. If we have 70% forumites like you forums will be healthy to visit |
spoilt:My dear, truth is spiritual matters are foolish to logical reasoning and common sense. If you spanned the scriptures you'll find instances were giving even to levites (workers in the vineyard of God) were done under very excruciating circumstances. Two quick examples: 1. God asked Abraham to sacrifice (give) to him his only child, 2. Elijah asked the widow who was about to eat her last supply of meal with her son and wait for death, to prepare of that same little portion and give to him to eat first. That sounds very much like today's pastors doesn't it? Now am I defending the acts of some of these men of God? God forbid! I'm only defending spiritual practices that hardly reconcile with logical reasoning. We've been warned that in the last days false prophets shall arise. Also told that lucifer shall appear as angel of light. So it shouldn't surprise us when we see pastors using the potency of the content of the bible to hoodwink and cajole. All I say to folks is be led by the spirit of God. I have on a few occasions given to men of God voluntarily and on request and I sure know what miracles accompanied those givings. Let me share this story with you. I was receiving a visiting pastor from PH once and he fancied the tie i had on and went like " I'm going with this tie cos i so love it" and I said " I'm sorry i do love it far more than you do and so cant give it out" I was already irritated by him. I also do not think that giving centers only around churches and pastors, but beyond. I'm sad we have few or none of these mega churches engaging in total humanitarian services which is the very essence of church growth other than spiritual enhancement. May God guide and direct everyones steps to the right place of worship |
Roforofo:Buddy you speak wisdom. I trade on forex and have been very successful at it. I even had to scale down drastically my other commitments so as to give full concentration to it. However, I'm an ardent believer of having a portfolio of investments scattered across different vehicles. Fixed deposit is good based on the objectives. Stocks inspite of its recent global tanking is equally very rewarding based on the objective and investment savvy of the investor. Those who know better are already positioning as stocks are cheap now and will definitely rally when the economy jerks. I particularly like the reason for your opening this FD |
victorazy:If thats your definiton of man enuf, then I'm alarmed. I have done quite an extensive study on transportation of pre-marital sexcapades into wedlock and d % of those who remain unfaithful even while married is alarming. Didnt they say old habits die hard? |
I make bold to say I'm one who has never cheated on his partner. Much as I do trust her a great deal, I may not totally vouch for her fidelity yet I dont go snoozing on her. Unfaithfulness is never justified. Not in the eyes of the Lord |
I understand. Your works really got me biting myself for not honing my drawing skills beyond the limping stage I took it to as a kid. You are just magnificent with them |
Adaure is potentially a high flying presenter if only she can cut to size the whizzling noise she produces. I wouldnt know if it's as a result of her accent. I like her though |
michelin89:If applause could resound and be ferried across oceans then you would hear the thunderous appluase my folks, buddies and I are giving to your creative ingenuity. You are a class artist and I'm loving your drawings all the way. For those who accused you of plagiarism please note that they didnt mean to insult you as they never imagined you could be the same person form photobucket. I also think just for next time sake that you be patient and understanding enough to correct wrong impressions and not take to verbal vituperation because you are a public person in the making. Thumps up girl and keep hoisting your flag |
mavenbox, if u ever got 2 see this I say thumps up for ur maturity all through this thread. Same goes to u sweetpie23 |

I do sometimes wish I could turn bad on girls as my niceties seem to have given them the edge over me and but I guess I just fancy my being the good guy that I am. The God I serve will bring me my own good girl as wife in His own time |
Prophet T.B. Joshua Celebrated Nigerian leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B Joshua, removed a controversial video clip from the internet, which purported to show that he helped the Ghana Satellites to victory in the finals of the U-20 World Cup. Quite a lot of people might have been hugely disappointed when they were hit with a blank page with the following message: “This video has been removed by the user”, a few moments after hitting play, to watch the clip. In the video footage, Prophet Joshua was heard shouting the name of Dede Ayew as if he was talking to the young lad before the penalty shoot-out. The captain of the victorious Satellites, has denied ever speaking to the spiritual Godfather of President John Evans Atta Mills. “I don’t know T.B Joshua, I have only heard there is someone like that but I don’t know him,” Dede said. Analysts believe that the video was made after the tournament, so the Nigerian ‘man of God’ would take credit for the victory. The removal of the video which was effected a little after 4pm on Wednesday, October 21st, was however, short-lived, as PEACEFM’s IT unit worked tirelessly to reproduce a substantial part of the whole footage for its homepage users. The PEACEFM IT Team, hopefully will restore the full nine and a half minute video clip by tomorrow. Stay tuned. Source: Peacefmonline Isnt this horrendous? what on earth does he seek to achieve with these belittling campaigns? |
I am so disturbed by the blind following of persons and thier missions. Why was a call from Sellas Tetteh taped on video? Is is that T.B Joshua's office is under the camera 247? I will emphasize that I do not doubt his ability to foretell future events, yet I know that even the devil is not lacking in that ability. Some might see me as a die hard antagonist to T.B Joshua but truth is I know too much about this man to be decieved. I believe I shouldnt judge and I also believe i have no authority to validate anyone's calling and ministry but I also know that we have been given the spirit of descernment and also asked to test all spirit. The much I have known about him and have encountered with him since 1991 leaves much to be desired. Someday, even the devil that has appeared as angel of light shall be unveiled |
PapaBrowne:My sentiments exactly |

Age has got nothing to do with acting. It is no sports. Is she older than olu Jacobs,Justus Esiri and co? From what we knew of her, she held us spell bound with her depth of character interpretations. I'd gladly welcome her back to my screens |
mbulela:Thanks bro, I believe we can differ on issues without being disrespectful and cursing. Once again, thanks |
Nezan:Thanks hardbody:I enjoy ur views too |
The problem is that Africans wether native or descent are wrongly natured to flamboyance and false lifestyle. It is evident in every facet of our lives. We nip a little success in the bud next we want to throw an elaborate party. We are going overseas we sure must party over it. You return from an overseas trip u call for a get together. You go abroad next you are stuffing up junk food and get bloated, go shoot some photos and send back home so we say u r living large. Why wouldnt these show offs not send the wrong signal to the poverty stricken mind of those at home who think the streets of the western world are paved with gold and precious stones. Most Nigerians abroad who even 'do well' as we refer to people who have money to flaunt are involved in illegal and illicit transactions ranging from credit card fraud to drug peddling. I have quite a good number of friends schooling and / or working abroad yet i get to wire them funds often from my domiciliary account. I hope people back home wake up to the reality of the excrutiating pains our brothers go through overseas to eke a living. God be with us all as we move to change our orientations. |
Dauchman:Thanks for this link. I maintain to all who care to listen that I know so much about this man and his spritualities to be convinced of his genuinity. I do not sound as an authority to validate anyone's calling and ministry but I know this man too well and have had a first hand encounter with people he messed up spiritually. Once more thanks for the link. For those who believe in him please note that I do not seek to offend you and your following but do ask yourself why most ex-associated of his who got to know the truth eventually go to d media to tell of his escapades. To the best of my knowledge, T.B Joshua isnt the only clergy who has worked with past associates and he isnt the only one who had differences with them but why do they all come to tell of his evil practices.
