Politics › War In Benue State: Igede Vs Otukpo by Tonylyte(op): 12:06am On Mar 22, 2023 |
Why is the government mute on the ongoing war between the Igede people and the Otukpo people? The war that broke out for almost a week now over the electricity incidence between the Otukpo people and the Igede community is in still on. My friend just called me now that there is an ongoing killing of his people(the igede) in the next village to his by their "enemies".... That the number of death recorded have not been disclosed.
What is the State going government saying about this?
When election was on they didn't forget the smallest polling unit in each of those affected regions, but bigger issues like the event of things turning out there are paid deaf ears. |

Anyone with results from the cross river state Governorship election held on saturday should drop it here. I am surprised why no one is talking about that, even though it one of the toughest races so far in the elections. |

why disrupting the electoral process.
Meanwhile please pray for benue people, there's a serious crisis between the people of igede and idoma over electricity issue, this shouldn't be happening, we are brothers
My friend is trapped in that war there in Benue state. He is from Oju. Though the way he explained things, the otukpo people were wrong. |

Reno must be high on Pigblood. If Obi was the one that broke all protocols to parade Muslim/Muslim ticket despite the rebuttals from the masses, the headless Reno would have masturbbbated on it.
Funny how those people from the other side have capitalised on "their media advantage" to deceive the masses for so long to make the wrong decisions. We all saw how they made the dying and certificateless one looks like a god in the 2015 presidential election, until we were faced with the reality of things under his reign.
They repackaged a druglorrd this time again, with full media backings, lies and deceptions as they have been known for to deceive the masses to grant him access to aso Rock.
Election is gone, yet these people won't let us be. U won an election, yet you have been the most attacking side, doesnt that speak much about the fear of you holding a mandate that is not supposed to be urs?

ProphetM0hammad: What did he do? He's one of the worst governors ever
Most South east governors are nothing to write home about, their people don't even hold them accountable because they are only interested in the affairs of other people's states Have u been to Anambra state before? The real anambra indigienes are more comfortable and doing exceedingly well than indigienes of any state in Nigeria u can think of. |

ProphetM0hammad: This agenda of an ibo man must become president regardless of if he's competent or not won't work The most desperate one here is your paymaster Tinubu. U saw him broke all protocols, all in his bid to clinch the office of the president. The Muslim/Muslim ticket to appease the north. The pseudo-bishop campaign to cajole the Christians into voting him. The use of touts in polling unit to disrupt and rig elections. Using Wike against the will of his people. Bribing the INEC chairman to rig election for him There a lot more....... |

ProphetM0hammad: I expect you to prove me wrong by bringing past good deeds Obi has as a governor/politician
https://www.nairaland.com/870945/what-exactly-peter-obi-doing
This is an old thread of 2011, where ibos and Anambra people cursed and lament about Obi when he was governor. Yet same people expect everyone to accept him just because they want an ibo man to become president. It's not possible I dont need to read that from any book Sir. I was in anambra state-though a cross riverian althrough Obi's reign as a governor. That man did exceedingly well. How was anambra state before Obi became the governor, thats what u should ask. |

marostan: Dey play! Just dey play! If not for any other reason, atleast make we regain and redeem our recognition for international community. Dem never swear person in, people don dey turn their backs on us. Dem declare person winner, the whole country had a dark cloud covering it. A particular group of persons known as urchins (which i know you're one) where prohibited from jubilating. Which implies it's against the will of the people. Take a chill pill, on that day of reclaim and days of PO in office, you'll live, feel, see and taste what good governance is all about. It will interest u to know that even people in are not happy. Benue that are not the said "Igbo" have been traumatised as a result of the outcome of the presidential election. That card of tribalism is dead and gone already. Those gimmicks of divide and rule wont work this time. We never gone stop until our stolen mandate is restored! |

FisifunKododada: The demons that you encourage and feed will eventually feast on you. Even peter obi is gonna end up consumed by the little obidient demons that he has woken up in alaigbo and in every part of Nigeria where Okoros love to reside. You didnt see where those commenters said they were waiting for their leader's(Peter Obi) pronouncement? That their leader earlier asked them to desist from any form of protests. |
