DexterousOne: Your b.Sc is not two or more certs
It is your b.sc PLUS the CIMA certificate that is two or more certificates They have to be evaluated together
And your best bet is WES Yes, I meant to ask if Only WES verifies CIMA and Bsc as two or more. i am trying to avoid the hassles of WAEC as i read it takes forever. Do advise please. |

DexterousOne: You will have to evaluate ALL at the same time with WES. Your bachelors and your CIMA Then to evaluate your Nigerian bachelor's You need your WAEC evaluation too Thank you for this answer. A follow up question, will ICES or IQAS evaluate my BSc as Two or more or is this only done by WES |

DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY TO THE TEST CENTER.. You're to book for your exam atleast two days to the exam day.

8. When you're done with your 4 exams, you'll wait for like two days for it to be updated...Then you can register with WES
9. Once you have gotten your WES reference No, send an email to cima to prepare your transcripts and letter of good standing.. Also tell them you want to arrange for a courier service.. This is to expedite the process because cima uses regular post which takes weeks to get to Canada.. Follow up with a call to CIMA.. I requested for mine and it was ready for pick up the following day.. Remember to put your WES reference no while booking the courier.. I paid about 65£ for the courier and it got to WES in 3days...
For more info.. visit https://www.cimaglobal.com a question please. If I successfully complete this degree do I need to evaluate Waec and Bsc and CIMA or just CIMA as two or more? |

mkchims: please how do we respond to this question. Does it apply to skilled work done in Canada Just the chose the none or less than a year option if you haven't worked in Canada before, or just the equivalent number of years if you have worked in Canada before. Always remember, there are no silly questions, because no one of us here was born with any information we may know now regarding the Canadian immigration process. Hope this helps. Cheers. |

Hello everyone. Great thread. I cant adequately express how helpful this has been for my process so far. I thank you all for all the information. Im not exactly a new member( I have actually been ghosting for a while. )
But I have an enquiry, has anyone tried to boost their crs scores with an average TEF language test score for the PA? Or would that be a shot in the dark with no rewards.
Because I think the goto move here is to rewrite Ielts.
Great gurus @gliitteringstar @40manlappy and @newmum any thoughts?
Thanks in advance. |

Lol what a thread. Quiet deceitfully for someone who hasn't done enough research to know that Canada is not beans, but with hard work and a bit of re-education (2years max) , and networking, you can live free and happy for the rest of your life. So what if you flip burgers or wait tables in the interim? As long as you develop yourself and build up your skillset in whatever professional you had previously, you should be able to make something of your life. Its not hard, but its not so easy either. 2, sometimes, 3 jobs, but eventually you can get the much needed "Canadian work experience" which most employers in your field might require. A further advice for those recent graduates considering this move, learn a trade, examples are, pipefitting, long distance truck driving, carpentry, mechanic even, they get paid a lot in Canada. Its not always about "white collar job" Imagine a carpenter earning more than a full shell staff. That's a reality over here. Work on yourself. And change your mindset about your so called hard earned degrees and experience, they don't mean anything because you got them in a shithole country. All the best to all involved eh. |

yemi15: do it yourself. You don't need an agency.
Came back home to earn my degree as there was no money to complete it abroad then.
Saw a Canada immigration service on this same nairaland but their cost is too prohibitive at 270,000 naira. |
