Hello fellow nairalanders! i am a brand identity developer and designer, i just left a clients office in v/i feeling a little low, why? here is the reason, the company needed to rebrand and restrategise so they called me in, i did two lovely logos and brand concept which they loved on giving them a quotation they started telling me that the logo was too expensive and that the last person that did their former logo did not charge them anything and i felt why wud a brand company not charge for a logo? so my fellow pips here is what i want to find out,

1, how do you charge if you are developing a brand identity for a company?

2, do you charge per service if you are branding a company e.g logo seperate, brand stationeries different, website different etc. or do you make it a total package stating how much it cost for one of each?

3, how does a growing company like mine break in on d big clients?

I am a little confused at the responses, some harsh, some weird and some funny. from my perspective i think sometimes we guys/girls take for granted what we have and want to be a little adventuorous only to realise that what we had in our previous partners was a blessing in disguise. i think u shud give him a chance he has realised you worth thats why he came calling, sometimes we could all fall for temptations to look else were.

I am bothered about girls that demand as if a man was created just to satisfy the material excesses that girls crave for, they see a man that walks up to them for a relationship as a potential money dropper, hmmn!!, i have this girl am presently trying to date, everytime i ask her why she does not call, she wud be like i shud buy her cdt so that she can call me, she is so demanding that she now puts me off, i am a man and i know responsibilities in a relationship when it comes to giving but when a girl makes it top priority then its so disgusting. girls please change ur attitude and dont see men as a means to an end.

There is something i would like you to understand, the bible says it is only God that gives the power to make wealth and he blesses whom ever he pleases.
have you ever wondered why you have the money in the first place? why have you been opportuned to have and the people that have been asking you don't have. the answer is this he has blessed you so that you can be a blessing to other people.

Remmeber the race is not for the swiftest but time and chance has been accorded to every man, it is more blessed to give than to recieve and i tell you one thing no matter how much you give your well can never run dry as u give.
