LaudableXX: You are beating around the bush, because your silly propaganda cannot be substantiated. Like I asked earlier, "Was it IPOB that nominated him or was it IPOB that appointed him to the ICC?" So why on earth would you give the credit for his appointment to IPOB, in your previous post? just as I have told you, you are entitled to your opinions and I have also answered your questions but what I can tell you is that you should wait patiently as things unfold in Nigeria and diaspora concerning Biafra and IPOB issues. |

BlowTango: Look my friend IPOB dosent know shit. Just because an Igbo man was appointed to chair the ICC dosent give IPOB any leverage over Nigeria in their silly asgitations for a BIafran state. Biafra is dead and buried and shall remain ever so till the end of time you are entitled to your opinions likewise I, the game is on and only the wise will understand the face at which the struggle for Biafra restoration has entered, hope you are aware of the recent judgment against Nigeria it favored IPOB 99.9%. IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF THE JUDGEMENTS PLS READ THIS THROUGH...BECAUSE I KNOW THAT NIGERIA MEDIA WILL NOT CARRY IT. ALL GLORY, HONOR, MAJESTY, PRAISES AND THANKSGIVING UNTO THE LORD GOD OF THE HEBREWS, GOD OF BIAFRANS, THE UNCHANGEABLE CHANGE, THE GOD WHOSE ONLY COMMAND MUST BE OBEYED AND NONE ELSE... THIS IS HUGE!! SHARE TILL BUHARI AND HIS BLOODTHIRSTY FULANI KILLERS CHOKE WITH THE NEWS OF BIAFRAN VICTORY!!! IPOB Press Release From the Office of the Head of the Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra (world headquarters Langenfeld Germany) Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB: 'African Commission moves against Buhari' (Dateline, Berlin, March 11, 2018): In a landmark ruling on March 8, 2018, the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights (ACHPR) issued a ruling against President Buhari to cease and desist from taking any "further actions" against Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and its members, pending when the Commission renders final decision on a Complaint filed on behalf of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB. The ruling, which the Commission called 'provisional measures', emanated from a Complaint filed by Barrister Aloy Ejimakor of Adulbert Legal Services on behalf of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB on December 14, 2017. The Complaint placed three main issues for the consideration of the Commission, to wit: Nnamdi Kanu's trial, Operation Python Dance and its aftermaths in the Southeast of Nigeria including the military invasion of Nnamdi Kanu's family home in Umuahia, and declaration of IPOB as a terrorist organization. The African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights, which reports to the African Union (AU) is a quasi-judicial body tasked with promoting and protecting human rights and collective (peoples') rights throughout the African continent as well as interpreting the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights and adjudication of individual complaints brought before the Commission against member States. Nigeria is a member State and has also ratified the African Charter, which all together makes it subject to the jurisdiction of ACHPR. In the ruling, the Commission also states that it has assumed jurisdiction to adjudicate the IPOB Complaint, and gave President Buhari 15 days to respond with actions he has taken to implement the provisional measures ordered by the Commission. On a rather ominous note, the Commission wrote that if the allegations in the Complaint prove to be correct, they would amount to gross violations of the African Charter "as well as other regional and international human rights laws and standards". With this ruling and the expectation that Buhari is duty-bound to implement it, Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and it's members have been vindicated, at least as far as the declaration that IPOB is a terrorist organization now appears to be on hold, until such a time the Commission has rendered its final decision. The ruling which spanned three pages was addressed to President Buhari; and it is accompanied by another five pages of document containing analysis of the Complaint. Going forward, we remain committed in our pursuit of justice both within and outside Nigeria. We will not relent until those responsible for the murder of hundreds of peaceful agitators and the disappearance of our leader is held to account before the comity of civilised nations. Signed: Mazi Chika Edoziem Head of Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra |

igbodefender: With the appointment of Justice Eboe Osuji as the President of the International Criminal Court (congratulations once again,Sir), there have been unrealistic hopes by pro Biafran independence agitators that he will bring about the emergence of Biafra, while prosecuting enemies of IPOB.
But Zikist Movement found out that the ICC president has to remain more or less neutral during investigations, while the it is someone else, the Prosecutor, who will determine if there will be a prosecution or not.
According to the ICC website, the Presidency "Conducts external relations with States (including Nigeria), coordinates judicial matters such as assigning judges, situations and cases to divisions, and oversees the Registry's administrative work," while the office of the proaecutor "Conducts preliminary examinations, investigations, and prosecutions"
So, It is not the ICC President that prosecutes cases, even though he may have some influence if Consulted Informally by the powers that make such decision. He has no power to recommend the independence of any place. He can also stay on in his post indefinitely.
It is the Prosecutor, Mr Ocampo who decides on prosecutions not the president. Read below to see how ICC prosecutions work.
Ten key facts about how the ICC prosecutes cases
Further to the Key Features listed above, here are some of the basics you may want to know:
1
The ICC does not prosecute those under the age of 18 when a crime was committed.
2
Before the Prosecutor can investigate, she must conduct a preliminary examination considering such matters as sufficient evidence, jurisdiction, gravity, complementarity, and the interests of justice.
3
When investigating, the Prosecutor must collect and disclose both incriminating and exonerating evidence.
4
The defendant is considered innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof lies with the Prosecutor.
5
During all stages of proceedings (Pre-Trial, Trial and Appeals), the defendant has the right to information in a language he or she fully understands, thus the ICC proceedings are conducted in multiple languages, with teams of interpreters and translators at work.
6
Pre-Trial judges issue warrants of arrest and ensure there is enough evidence before a case can go to trial.
7
Before a case is committed to trial (during the Pre-Trial phase), the defendant is referred to as a suspect. Once the case is committed to trial, since at that point the charges have been confirmed, the defendant is referred to as the accused.
8
Trial judges hear the evidence from the Prosecutor, Defence, and the Victims’ lawyers, render a verdict, and if a person is found guilty, the sentence and decision on reparations.
9
Appeals judges render decisions on appeals from the Prosecutor or Defence.
10
If a case is closed without a verdict of guilt, it can be reopened if the Prosecutor presents new evidence
Source: http://zikistmovement.igbodefender.com/2018/03/12/breaking-icc-president-eboe-osuji-cannot-bring-biafra-can-judge-cases-but-not-prosecute/ all what you have written is called 'trash' no one said he will bring us Biafra but just wait and see how the game will be played out thank God you recorded in your write up that the president has a considerable influence in any case that is brought up for procecution. We are not saying he should give us Biafra but what we are doing is to tell him to deal with human rights abuses and those who commit crime against humanity which I believe most of Nigeria military men are involved in. I believe Biafran or IPOB has enough evidence on crimes against humanity against brutai, gowon, Buhari, obasanjo, adekunle and Co. |

I am not in the position to tell you how he became the president, but one thing I can assure you is that most Nigeria leaders are in big mess as the days, months and years rolls by. adamubk: A Nigerian jurist at the International Criminal Court (ICC) has been elected president of the war crimes tribunal. Chile Eboe-Osuji, who became the first Nigerian to be elevated to the court in 2012, would serve as ICC president for the next three years. The announcement was contained in a statement posted on ICC website on Sunday. See the full statement below: “Today, 11 March 2018, the judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC), sitting in a plenary session, elected Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji (Nigeria) as President of the Court for a three-year term with immediate effect. Judge Robert Fremr(Czech Republic) was elected First Vice-President and Judge Marc Perrin de Brichambaut (France) Second Vice-President.” The new appointee was also quoted in the statement. “I am deeply honoured to have been elected by my peers as President of the International Criminal Court. As I take up my duties, I feel encouraged that I am able to rely on the wide experience of the two Vice-Presidents, Judge Robert Fremr and Judge Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, both of whom I have closely worked with previously. “I look forward to working together with them as well as with all the judges, all the Officials and the staff of the Court in a spirit of collegiality. I also look forward to collaborating with the Assembly of States Parties, civil society and the international community at large, acting together to strengthen and reinforce the Rome Statute system, the 20th anniversary of the adoption of which we celebrate this year”, President Chile Eboe-Osuji stated following the election. “I am also grateful to the previous President, Judge Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi, and Vice-Presidents, Judges Joyce Aluoch and Kuniko Ozaki, for their work and leadership,” he added. The Presidency – consisting of the President and the two Vice-Presidents – plays a key role in providing strategic leadership to the ICC as a whole. Nigeria government is in a very big mess, they don't know the international political games that IPOB is playing, very soon the result will start to manifest, don't get it confused the man that was just appointed is not a Nigeria rather a Biafran. Don't get it twisted, the courts casein USA between brutai and the other five eastern governors for human rights abuses is gradually moving to international court and the man that will nail brutai and jubri of Sudan imposing as Buhari the Nigeria president for massive human rights abuses has taken the center stage and the plans of IPOB is about to be completed. Thumbs up for IPOB for a well calculated international political game played, you are gradually positioning those men who will do justice for Biafra at the international center stage. IPOB knowledge and strategies is equal to non, no wonder IPOB and NNAMDI KANU insisted that they must remain non violent even in the faces of brutality even when they brag that they have billions of dynamite in their arsenals. It is now that Nigeria government will know that knowledge and wisdom is more profitable than brutal force and un warrant intimidation. |

Macelliot: Lesson to the Anambra election boycotters
Even if people boycotts election, a winner will surely be anounced.
I live in Anambra, the biggest mistake will be boycotting the election. The moment people refuses to appear at the voting centres, The HIGHER CHANCES OF RIGGING.
Don't be suprise if APC or APGA wins Anambra election. WHY?
1) Pro-APC will all cast their votes.
2) Few pro-APGA will vote (Obiano loyalist).
3) Most of the election boycotters will either be pro-PDP or pro-Biafra. dont think you can used this your useless propaganda to scare us rigging has been in existence even before this useless country was created, even the creation of Nigeria was rigged. so telling us that if we boycotts the election it will be rigged is like telling us that buhari was not rigged into office or good luck was not rigged into office by obasanjo. we never said that you should not announce your winner after 18 November but we shall be sending a strong message to the entire world that day. just as the whole world saw that no election took place in Enugu yesterday, but today they have announced a winner, we shall be be doing what we did in Enugu in Anambra on the 18 Nov then after that one can announce anybody winner. then after that we shall move down to our next plan of action that will shake the whole world. una never see anything. |

25-year-old Sgt. Johnson is one of four United States soldiers killed after 50 ISIS-affiliated fighters ambushed US troops in Niger.
Multiple US officials have described a scene of confusion on the ground during the unexpected firefight.
Even as an adult, Johnson had a playful spirit, once demonstrated by his unusual method of commuting when he worked in the produce section at Wal-Mart.

Kudos to PMB for the kind gesture. This is a good move to douse the ethnic tensions a little bit. Funny enough, OBJ pardoned them in 2000 and Buhari is now paying them.
