I have never said the South East must remain in Nigeria...not even any region should really remain if they do not want to.

I am vehemently opposed to a man of Kanu's character (which he hasnt anyway).

IF he has been a leader of thought, a leader of repute, a man known for his good deeds over a long time, tested and trusted with public office etc, then he would gain my respect. History is full of people of his character, Patrice Lumumba, Jonas Savimbi, Laurent Kabila, Laurent Gbagbo etc they always never make anything good and these men I have mentioned, were far ahead of Kanu in terms of true nationalistic revolution.

As to what the south east and any other region can do,

1. Hold your elected leaders accountable. They have failed you not Nigeria, they divert your attention to Nigeria instead of themselves.

2. Vote them only on the basis of performance, instead of calling for boycott of Anambra elections for eg, vote a Pro-Biafran leader of thought.

3. Unite as one ethnic group, there are several Presidential materials of Eastern Origin past or present, Ken Nnamani, Peter Obi, Rochas Okorocha, etc, these are proven men, rally round and support them.

4. Ensure your ELECTED representatives move for secession with one voice at the national Assembly. Since the Sen. that signed surety of Nnamdi is still alive, rally round him and his colleagues to make this possible and

5. Call on your illustrious sons who have made it, Innoson, Ekenedilichukwu, Orjiakor etc, to support your cry, then Biafra can start rightly.

Go check Catalonia and their clamour for self governance, no bloodshed as of now, not one!

Nnamdi is just a self loving tout.

As if it wasn't enough Nnamdi kanu blast Former president Goodluck Jonathan, calling him weak and incompetent, this didn't go well with the associate of Jonathan who were the same pro biafra in other side of igbo land ffk, omonkiri, pdp etc in their response shunned Nnamdi kanu and condemn him!
The question is who left following Kanu and his fight for biafra! As a leader!
Can kanu and ipob gain biafra with out the full support of the heavy wight opinion leaders of igbo land?

While he made some good points on the state of the Nigerian nation, he is at best very idealistic on the Biafran issue. He acknowledged that multi-ethnicity is one of the problems with Nigeria yet he blatantly referred to the Niger Delta (including the many non-Igboid tribes -and even mentioning Itsekiri & Isoko) as "Southern Biafra". Such delusion and audacity are among the reasons why Biafra may never be a reality any time soon.

He said so many things; mainly utopic in nature. However, he did not state the framework for which Biafra will operate its federal structure. It is not just about granting ethnicities their own regions. That will not solve all of the problems. There are core issues that need to be addressed in a federation and he never spoke one bit about any of them. Rather he was boasting about making Lokoja a "seaport" and "dredging the river Niger". Making it seem like he is campaigning to the Tiv and other Middle Belt groups.

For someone who wants Biafra so much, he paid more attention to Nigeria, Tinubu, Mohammed, and the North. He exuded more of a personal angst and vendetta against Nigeria and Nigerians, rather than a genuine love for Biafra.

Finally... All I can say is that this interview has reinforced my conviction that the Biafra agitation, as it is now, is nothing more than blatant idealism by misguided youths, led by a delusional man whose main justification for the struggle is his hatred for the Hausa-Fulani and the "Zoo", as he puts it.

This issue is getting more complicated on day basis.

I condemn the ultimatum given by the arewa wings and the agitation by IPOB youths.
