The moment you start tweaking the payment on delivery method to the extent that the buyer would leave his or her house to go collect the item somewhere else, the service becomes defeated sort of. I really don't know why everything that is being introduced to make life easier for us, gets abused in naija. Sometimes, I feel this country is a cursed land. I think for a start, delivery men should be warned not to enter into people's houses. Anyone who orders an item, should be able to come out of the house to the gate where passersby would be able to see them.

I must really commend the effort MTN has put in to making sure that the services were up to standard. i was contacted severally by the company. they gave preferences to my place of work and residence to ensure i was satisfied, and i must say that the network is stable now.
i can now stream videos seamlessly, open sites at the shortest possible time which is of the advantages of 4G LTE.

The leader of the indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu played host to some prominent Nigerians on Tuesday, February 28.

Former CBN governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo and renowned economist, Dr Pat Utomi led the delegation to Kuje prison, where Kanu is currently in detention.


While the purpose of the visit is not yet clear at the time of this report, NAIJ.com gathered that the visit was made under the umbrella of Nzuko Umuna, a coalition of Igbo group.

Sources told NAIJ.com that the group cuts across all the major groups in the South-east including those in diaspora.

Tony Nnadi, the secretary general of the Lower Niger Congress who was part of the visit told NAIJ.com that the group will work with all aggrieved Igbo groups.

Nnadi said: "We have announced a process, on January 1, 2017, the LNC rolled out a registration of three million volunteers who want a referendum."

"The matter now is how to put a date for the referendum and go to vote."

MTN announced the launch of 4g LTE in some cities and knowing what the services are all about, one expected an improvement from their so called 3G network but lo, the 4G is worse than 2G. One wonders why their definition of 4G LTE. I decided to upgrade my SIM to the 4G SIM. but from the moment I did so, I've been regretting why I even thought of it in the first place. it takes about 3 to 5 minutes to open any page. It's almost like you are using 2g network.

Instead of decieving the masses, why not MTN use the resources deploy quality infrastructure for 3G services.

A group of Catholic lay leaders have asked President Trump to investigate their claims Soros, Obama and Clinton organized a Vatican coup to install radical leftist Pope Francis.

The Catholic leaders cite eight specific questions they seek to have answered concerning suspect events that led to the resignation of Pope Benedict, the first papal abdication in 700 years.
“Specifically, we have reason to believe that a Vatican ‘regime change’ was engineered by the Obama administration,” say the petitioners, in their January 20 letter to President Trump.
“We were alarmed to discover,” their letter notes, “that, during the third year of the first term of the Obama administration your previous opponent, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and other government officials with whom she associated proposed a Catholic ‘revolution’ in which the final demise of what was left of the Catholic Church in America would be realized.”
The letter includes links to documents and news stories underscoring their claims. It first directs attention to the notorious Soros-Clinton-Podesta e-mails disclosed last year by WikiLeaks, in which Podesta and other progressives discussed regime change to remove what they described as the “middle ages dictatorship” in the Catholic Church.
Regarding the Podesta e-mails in question, The New American reported last October:
“Podesta, a longtime Clinton adviser/confidante and hand-picked top activist for left-wing funder George Soros, revealed in a 2011 e-mail that he and other activists were working to effect a “Catholic Spring” revolution within the Catholic Church, an obvious reference to the disastrous “Arab Spring” coups organized that same year by the Obama-Clinton-Soros team that destabilized the Middle East and brought radical Islamist regimes and terrorist groups to power in the region. The Podesta e-mail is a response to another Soros-funded radical — Sandy Newman, founder of the “progressive” Voices for Progress. Newman had written to Podesta seeking advice on the best way to “plant the seeds of the revolution” in the Catholic Church, which he described as a “middle ages [sic] dictatorship.”
In their letter to President Trump, the group of Catholics leaders write: “Approximately a year after this e-mail discussion, which was never intended to be made public, we find that Pope Benedict XVI abdicated under highly unusual circumstances and was replaced by a pope whose apparent mission is to provide a spiritual component to the radical ideological agenda of the international left. The Pontificate of Pope Francis has subsequently called into question its own legitimacy on a multitude of occasions.”
“We remain puzzled by the behavior of this ideologically charged Pope, whose mission seems to be one of advancing secular agendas of the left rather than guiding the Catholic Church in Her sacred mission,” they say, expressing the thoughts of millions of Catholics around the world stunned by Pope Francis’s left-wing ideology. “It is simply not the proper role of a Pope to be involved in politics to the point that he is considered to be the leader of the international left.”
They continue:
“With all of this in mind, and wishing the best for our country as well as for Catholics worldwide, we believe it to be the responsibility of loyal and informed United States Catholics to petition you to authorize an investigation into the following questions:
– To what end was the National Security Agency monitoring the conclave that elected Pope Francis?
– What other covert operations were carried out by US government operatives concerning the resignation of Pope Benedict or the conclave that elected Pope Francis?
– Did US government operatives have contact with the “Cardinal Danneels Mafia”?
– International monetary transactions with the Vatican were suspended during the last few days prior to the resignation of Pope Benedict. Were any U.S. Government agencies involved in this?
– Why were international monetary transactions resumed on February 12, 2013, the day after Benedict XVI announced his resignation? Was this pure coincidence?
– What actions, if any, were actually taken by John Podesta, Hillary Clinton, and others tied to the Obama administration who were involved in the discussion proposing the fomenting of a “Catholic Spring”?
– What was the purpose and nature of the secret meeting between Vice President Joseph Biden and Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican on or about June 3, 2011?
– What roles were played by George Soros and other international financiers who may be currently residing in United States territory?”
The investigation the group of Catholic leaders is requesting of President Trump should be of interest to more than just Catholics. George Soros’s ability to co-opt leading political figures to assist his radical plans for nation states is well known; but his ability to force “regime change” in the Catholic church, an institution previously throught impenetrable from the outside, raises serious questions about his potential for global chaos. The investigation — and punishment — should begin at once.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Okeke's body was found inside his room dangling on a blue rope by some of his friends with a suicide note that reads:

'My fellow gamblers, I am sorry; my family, I let you all down.'

The Enugu State Police Command has confirmed the suicide of the Agriculture Economics student and has commenced investigation into the incident.

In a statement signed by the State Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Ebere Amaraizu, the command said that the lifeless body of the deceased, a native of Awgu in the state, was discovered hanging on the ceiling fan’s hook in his room on Sunday, November 27, 2016.

The command said that a note written by the deceased to his friends and relations was found at the scene of the alleged suicide.

“Some of the excerpts from the note read as follows: 'I got it all wrong when I rejected Jesus. God gave me wisdom, God gave me all I needed to succeed. I rejected Him.

My fellow gamblers, I am sorry; my fellow lions, I am sorry; my family, I let you all down,” DSP Amaraizu said.

The command noted that the body of the late student had been deposited at the Bishop Shanahan Hospital Mortuary, Nsukka, while the bereaved family has been making arrangements to retrieve it for burial.

Buhari’s $500M Donation To Clinton Campaign May Damage Nigeria Relation With Trump Govt. – US Group


A US non governmental group, the American Black Group for Democracy has revealed that the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari’s government plunged $500Million (About N150Billion) into the failed Hillary Clinton electioneering campaign fund. They added that the donation may create a huge misunderstanding between Nigeria and the incoming Trump’s US government.

The Nigeria integrity challenged President, wasted no time in releasing the funds he reportedly pledged to the US secretary of states, Sen John Kerry and US Ambassador in Abuja to support of Mrs Clinton election.
President Buhari an Islamist fundamentalist, have a visible hatred for Mr Donald Trump, especially when the US president elect allegedly made some statement which the Nigerian president sources claimed is demeaning and a threat to the Islamic faith. The defeat of Hillary Clinton was received as a great shock by the Nigerian government, that was help to power by the polices of Mrs Clinton as secretary of state and the $500m donation is now a failed project that my be investigated by the Trump government.
Left alone, President Buhari should not have congratulated Donald Trump because of the animosity he bears for the American. It took the intervention and criticism of Nigerians to force President Buhari to congratulate the US President elect, Mr Donald Trump, as the Nigerian Seat of government was thrown into turmoil when it became certain that Trump has defeated Buhari’s favoured candidate, Mrs Clinton.

Nigerians were shocked about this revelation that Buhari was busy funding a US presidential candidate, while millions of Nigerians are starving to death as a result of the recession caused by his clueless and directionless economic policies.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) yesterday described the change mantra of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)as mere cosmetic.

It therefore called on Nigerians to be ready for a real revolutionary change.

ASUU national president, Professor Biodun Ogunyem, at a public lecture and distinguished service award organised by the University of Ibadan (UI) chapter said the present administration seemed not to have any template on how to govern Nigeria. Rather, Ogunyemi said the present crop of leaders have only come to play cards with the development of the country.

The ASUU chief at the lecture entitled, “Good governance: A surgical strike against economic recession,” said there must be a revolution for the real change that Nigerians desire.

He added: “Nigeria is our pride. In the diversity lies our strength and in unity lies the basis of our struggle. ASUU is not pleased with what is happening today for at least three reasons. In the first place, as a union of intellectuals, we cannot stay aloof, We cannot watch helplessly while the ruling class continues in its act of displacement of the country.

“What has happened in this country in the last 10 years or so should be enough to transform this country if not to another Japan, but at least maybe to another Malaysia or Singapore. But unlike Malaysia or Singapore, what was sold to us is Washington consensus.
I am sure my colleagues will talk more about it.

“And that was what produced Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP). What we’re having now is SAP in another form. Somebody came up and said I will not devalue the naira, what is happening to the naira today? Free fall.

Somebody said I will not increase the price of petroleum, what is happening now? The price is almost doubled! And it is not impossible that in another few months, if we don’t put our acts together, I insisted, in another couple of months, we will just wake up and see that the price of pump price will be swayed.

“Is this the kind of change you asked for? A change without transformation, is this the change you asked for?

“Nigerians asked for change, Nigerians did not ask for second enslavement. Did we? That is why we must be interested in what is happening in Nigeria.

“We must sow the seed of that change, the correct change. The change they are talking about is cosmetic. We are talking about revolutionary change. Are we prepared for that? We need to guard our loins. ASUU as a union is committed to doing that.

”The guest lecturer, Dr. Biodun Adedipe, said the nation needs a structural overhaul of the economy and must be ready to do things differently.

The Chairman of the occasion, Professor Omotoye Olorode, called on Nigerian leaders to exercise state power to achieve good governance.
