Lekan Adenyi expressed his devastation and heartbreak after discovering that his wife secretly owns multiple businesses and three houses

The man is heartbroken and considering divorce after discovering that his wife has been hiding significant aspects of her life during their 10-year marriage.

Lekan Adenyi said he felt deeply hurt that his wife did not trust him enough to share her successes.

He revealed that he recently discovered she owned three houses, which she rented out, and four other businesses.

“For the past ten years we have been living together, yet she has kept so many secrets. A few days ago, I asked her to save the number of one of my clients on her phone because my phone was dead. Later, when I took her phone to retrieve the number, I saw a text from the caretaker,” he explained.

After questioning his wife, Adenyi discovered the truth about her secret businesses.

To add salt to the injury, he learned that the house they had been living in also belonged to his wife, and he had been unknowingly paying rent to her all these years.

Adenyi explained that five years ago, they were struggling financially, and his wife had told him a story about finding a landlord who would allow them to pay rent gradually.

“I fell for her lie, not knowing the house was hers. We have lived there for five years, and every year the rent has increased,” he stated.

The woman, who expressed remorse, said her mother had helped her father grow his business and trusted him so much that any property they bought together was in his name.

Eventually, when her mother became ill, her father abandoned her, leaving her penniless until her final days.


“My mother died poor despite all her efforts. When I got married, I wanted to secure what I could for my children and myself. It was not to anger or hurt my husband, but out of fear of ending up like my mother,” she said.
