Sorry mama,I understand ur pain,Dd was like that and vitC was prescribed,initially I was like"y just vitC,but later found out it works,she's better now,less I forget,was told not to allow anyone kiss her lip,including me for now,coz babies are more sensitive

Topfuncakes166,my DD is having the rashes too on her forehead, I think its the heat this days,but I remember a mama suggested that one can use powder in form of a paste n apply to the affected areas, I just did that for my DD this afternoon.

Hello mamas in the house and the waddling mamas,how body?have really missed a lot on the thread,have been so busy since the arrival of my princess last month,she's just 20 days old and has rashes especially on her face and I see her front hair cutting off,don't know what she's reacting to,pls help a ftm.

Thank God for his faithfulness. Team December, I'm glad we are all doing fine. We all should have entered at least our 26th week now, most of us are already comfortably in the third trimester now. I'm 29 weeks plus now and I'm so excited.

I heard the prices of commodities in the market have skyrocketed. Pls let's try to round up our shopping to avoid running around in the last minute. _{You know some of our DHs can be funny, before they'll go and buy pink gowns for baby boys as per last minute shopping}
May God provide for us and our DHs.

To our experienced mamas that have already put to bed, how important is it to wash new baby clothes before putting it on them? I asked a couple of elderly nurses here(some are Nigerians) and they gave me a funny look. One mummy told me it's not necessary but I really want to be sure as I'd prefer not to take chances. Is their an adverse effect on baby's skin if we don't wash? Pls we need honest opinions from those who washed and those who didn't. Do we hand wash only or put in the washing machine? Should we wash stuff like socks, mittens, towels, flannels, blankets and caps?

amen and thank you ma,already at the hospital,did a scan and the doc said am 2cm dilated,she then inserted a tablet like inside,I just hope it all work out for good,

On Saturday, I was browsing and lazing around. Didn't realise it was already 10am and I had somewhere to go. I jumped out of bed to quickly take my bath and lost my footing and fell. I didn't hit my tummy but hit my head on the toilet door. Been having headaches and back pain. Doctor says they can't do any investigation till I give birth but the ultrasound was okay.

The scary part was that I was alone upstairs and no one heard me fall or shout. Had to call my DH to leave the estate meeting. My biggest fear is to be alone with no one to help me when I need it.

Still can't sleep.

Awwww,so sorry about that,it is well with u ijn,u need sleep,coz not sleeping can aggravate the headache,just try sleeping Hun!

Please go to the hospital ASAP. Let them check and ensure everything is OK. 3 days of contractions especially when you are 40weeks is not usually a good sign. Let your doctor induce if necessary.

@Topfuncakes166, like iomoge has mentioned, please go to hospital. Personally, I don't like the idea of staying home when you are feeling such pain especially when you are above 36 weeks.

Although am a FTM but I don't joke with hospital oh!!! I disturb by OBG anytime I have any issue because that's why am paying them.

Please go to hospital ASAP. We shall all carry to term in Jesus name.

Why not see the health practitioner.
I dont like d idea of coming and going pains.

Just see them to know if your are dailating or not. Then if possible a membrane sweep.

Hello mummies,God bless you all on this thread,am 40 weeks gone today,and a ftm,sometimes the pain comes and I think it's time but later off it goes for the past 3 days,pains that holds my legs so badly,I can't wait to meet my lo,I wake up everyday with hope which is causing me some anxiety now,thinking having a hot shower will help induce labour since walking isn't helping,less I forget,my breast milk has been flowing like every sec,I have to wear a pad often,am tired o,today is latest EED of all the scan I did

Thought it is 21 December,ur lo would have been my birthday mate

To God alone be all the glory my kid sis delivered her baby girl today 7th of September at exactly 3.05am weighing 3.2kg VD.
Baby and mum are doing great! Daddy is ecstatic, grandma has called the whole world already(owambe loading )

Feed him with his heaviest meal (not pap cos pap is light, unless the pap will act as a top up after his meal) let him eat very very well , maybe it's even hunger that's waking him.
Don't feed him too early, if you go to bed around 9-10pm, you can feed him around that time.
Hope his room is well ventilated, let him be very comfortable while sleeping. When he wakes up, try giving him enough water to drink instead of viju or cheese ball and see if he will sleep back.

. I don't fully agree with feeding him late,the food might not digest well which might cause another gbege
