I say this categorically NIGERIAN MASTER CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED ONLINE/VIA INTERNET. So if u wnt to to use it for onlie payment or shopping, 4get it, it doesn't work! But if its to shop outside the country, like Dubai, it is accepted. |
"Sango" was an epic movie |
I also remember playing "Father May I?"; "Boju Boju" "Green/Red" "Wrestling" "Suwe" "Catcher" "Island Ball" We used to act plays, cook in the bush (we'll actually steal all sorts of food stuffs and ingredients frm home and actuall act Daddy, Mummy and Son/Daughter; We Ran races and sometimes it was a Real competition with a prize tag "Long Jump" "High JumP"-------- Ah! Omo i play wen i small o! Wish i culd go back to those good old days! At night we would bring out our mats sit down in circles and listen to folk tales, we sang together----- O my God! Those days were VERY GOOD. And after the tales, we used to say that if the story was a lie, let our mouth not make a particular hollow sound we made with our finger in our mouth, remember? God! I really miss my childhood days |
What Games Did You Play When You Were "Small"? Just reflecting on those good old days. Grew up and still say in Festac. Used to play a lot of "Table Soccer". Meeen, those days were good. Getting all those cock screws, filling them with wax to make them stronger, especially the keeper. Numbering them with numbers cut out frm calenders and making posts frm sugar packs or paper. You culd see the enthusiasm and the joy when u won a match. We even fought over it. Also used to play with "Agbalumo" (Cherry) seeds. The "Pando" was the big seed and we had so may games we could play with Agbalumo seeds. What about "Pilolo" - hiding sticks and tring to find them. Also "Father May I", "Green and Red"-------- those good old days, how much i miss them. The one i loved most was "Police and Thief". Oh! That was one hell of a game. Even the girls wanted to play then. Police and thief was one lovely game that we really enjoyed. It goes on and on. I really enjoyed my childhood days and feel nostalgic bout it. wish I could play those games again. What about you? What games did you play? |
@ poster I think so, but after a while it culd get boring and later u'll kinda pick it up again. So the interest kinda undulates. |

"I Dance" When I'm lone with you Lord Trouble seems to disappear And the peace that comforts me Always comes when You are near Cause Your love's too much For my heart to contain Joy too much And my feet won't refrain Chorus: So I dance Like the rain on the roof Tell my soul that my spirit's on the loose To know if anyone will understand Feels like an Angel got me, holding my hand So I dance I dance, Idance And when I think about the ways You have blest my life I sing a song of praise And thankful tears fill my eyes Cause Your love's too much For my heart to contain Joy too much And my feet won't refrain Repeat chorus Like the rain on the roof, yeah I dance Can't stop my feet from turning round I Dnace, I dance Lenny LeBlanc |
Rainbow Song Chorus: If I was a Rainbow, I'll show my colours for YOU If I was a song bird, I'll sing my song for YOU If You take the sun and moon And take away the stars at night Your faithful word Will always be my guide Beautiful, such a miracle That you would give up heaven just for me And all i wanna do is fall more in Love with YOU This world doesn't hold me anymore But one thing that I do know for sure---- Repeat Chorus and verse till fade--- Lenny LeBlanc |
