F.. your masters ill articulated and implemented policies have worsen the living conditions of majority of citizens without any respite...which was never the case during PDP era or even during buharia era because citizens went on lock down for months and no one died of hunger or stampede...but yet a little over a year of Tpain administration citizens are willing to be lured into a gathering of uncontrollable crowd resulting in stampede and u want prominent opposition voice like PO and Atiku to react differently...wicked souls
SHUT YOUR DIRTY, NASTY LIPS.

YOU WERE LIVING A FAKE LIFE WITH FUEL SUBSIDIES AND CHAOTIC CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE SYSTEM THAT GRANTED YOU JUST ENOUGH TO EAT, WHILE IMPOVERISHING THE NATION IN DEBT AND ZERO FUNDS FOR DEVELOPMENT.

TINUBU HAS TAKEN THE RIGHT STEPS TO LIFT THIS NATION, ALBEIT PAINFUL INITIALLY.

The gains are incalculable moving forward.

WHAT IS YOUR SOLUTION APART FROM GOING BACK TO FUEL SUBSIDY AND OVER VALUED, DUAL-EXCHANGE RATE SYSTEM?

You could afford decent meals then because of FUEL SUBSIDY and high oil price on the international market, not because of anything PDP did.

I think by nature he likes to build. How I wish other politicians were like him and love building roads, hospitals, bridges, and things that the public needs that creates a fertile environment for business.

All politicians anywhere in the world benefit from the system...but at least give the people what they need.

Don't take all the money for yourself.

Wike takes but gives which is a fair bargain in the realm of global politics.

If you spend 10 million on actually doing a good project and you inflate to 15 million...at least the project is there.

Most Nigerian politicians will inflate to 30 million and still not do the project.
WRONG. YOU ARE STUCK IN THE 1980s.

Your type do not travel round Nigeria. You sit in one place casting judgement on a country you know next to nothing about.

If you travel round Nigeria, you will see many great developments and projects all over the country.

It's not only Wike that's working.

This is the same narrative many of you are peddling about but ask you and your likes, where are the proceeds from the subsidy removal, you cannot pinpoint them and the same government still borrowing like kinlode. Tinubu's government in its 18 months have borrowed more than half of what Buhari you people always malign borrowed for 8 years.
Shame!
There are no ''proceeds from subsidy removal''. We were borrowing 10 billion dollars a year to pay subsidies. We simply stopped borrowing that amount. Instead when we borrow, we are doing so for DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, and don't ask me ''where are the projects?''. GO AND GOOGLE IT!

Nigeria, Ethiopia Account For Huge Chunk Of $76.3bn Africa’s Road Projects – Fitch

Ethiopia and Nigeria are taking the lead in road and bridge projects across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), a recent report by BMI, a Fitch Solutions Company, has revealed.

According to the report titled “Sub-Saharan African Transport Infrastructure Project Pipeline: Roads And Bridges Set To Drive Investment”, Ethiopia tops the list with 279 ongoing projects, followed by Nigeria with 105 projects.

The study highlights that Ghana, Kenya, and Tanzania round out the top five nations in the region actively pursuing road infrastructure projects.

Collectively, these efforts form part of a broader pipeline encompassing 966 projects across SSA, with a total investment value of $76.3 billion..

Abuja, Nigeria
..............................https://i.pinimg.com/736x/5e/a2/45/5ea2452b6303c205888e96d35dda20cd.jpg

The report notes that SSA countries are prioritizing both trunk roads and feeder road networks to enhance connectivity and drive economic growth. Investments in the road sector are projected to significantly contribute to the expansion of the region’s transport infrastructure.

Highway and motorway infrastructure projects, though relatively few at 187, are the most capital-intensive, accounting for 20.9 per cent of the pipeline’s total value.

This emphasis reflects the strategic importance of highways in connecting major cities, facilitating trade, and improving access to rural areas.

..........As road projects advance, they are expected to unlock vast economic potential in SSA, boosting trade, reducing travel time, and improving access to essential services. The focus on infrastructure aligns with broader development goals aimed at fostering regional integration and attracting foreign investment.

While Ethiopia and Nigeria stand out for their commitment to road projects, the report emphasizes that continued investment and strategic partnerships will be crucial to overcoming the persistent challenges in road infrastructure development across the region.

Same rhetoric, why measuring our budget in dollars?
You claim there is enough revenue now, hence my question for why borrowing...... aggregate all the states and LG budget and add to that of FG and that's the net budget of Nigeria.
Why should you not measure your budget in dollars?

The aggregate is the 30 billion USD.

CultureRe: Were The First Humans Light Or Dark Skinned?. by Topman7: 7:49am On Dec 24, 2024
lawani:
Were the first human beings dark or light skinned

Just as there is evidence that a few thousand years back the ancestors of Europeans were dark skinned, there is also evidence that the ancestors of west Africans of over twenty thousand years ago were light skinned. Neanderthal DNA content in west African groups like the Yoruba is enough evidence of at least some ancient light skinned ancestors. Therefore the claim by Afrocentrists and etc that the first human beings were dark skinned may not hold water. Dark skinned groups sometimes give birth to unpigmented or light skinned offsprings who are albinos while the reverse is not the case for light skinned groups and this is a strong case for the first human beings being light skinned.
A big reason why some people insist that the earliest human beings were dark skinned is because on our planet and indeed on any inhabitable planet, the most ancient civilizations are of dark skinned people because these civilizations often occur in tropical or near tropical zones where the sun is harshest. The people of those tropical or near tropical lands are bound to be dark skinned overtime even if they were not so at the beginning because their lands were the first to become free of ice or inhabitable. Africa was inhabitable before Europe, all other things being equal.

In conclusion, the color that the first human beings were is indeterminate because the fact that black people give birth to albinos give strength to the notion that the first humans were white while the fact that the most ancient civilizations are of dark skinned people give strength to the notion that the first human beings were dark.
Mr Man, the first humans were not only black, but were black for over 190,000 years before albino races emerged 7 or 8 thousand years ago.

The entire world was black. Fully populated by black Africans.

All of Europe was black.

The entire Asia was black.

The Americas, Australia, everywhere was black.

Okay?

In fact let me show you cave paintings from China, India etc. You will see that the first settlers and rulers of all those places were our African ancestors who migrated there thousands of years ago and began civilisation.

If the bold words are true what is the need of borrowing 13Trn when you have a burden of 15Trn debt servicing?

Maybe una think say we are all mumu
WE need to borrow, because we do not earn enough as a country to develop the country.

Mr Man, your annual budget for 250 million people is 30 billion USD.

South Africa with 60 million people, their budget is 120 billion dollars.

USA with 300 million people, has an annual bufget of 7 TRILLION dollars.

So Nigeria needs loans to beef up its budget.

What she does NOT need loans for is to spend on 10 billion dollar worth of fuel subsidies per annum!!!!!

Imagine Trump as president ordering the upgrade of a stadium.....is he that jobless?
The US federal govt does not own or run stadiums.

There's no 'national stadium' in America.

Stadia, theatres etc are all left to the states to build and run.

Nigerian states are not as rich as American states, hence the FG involvement in building major infrastructural facilities.

Who's this liar grin..

Were you sleeping when the FG said 2025 budget will be financed with loan including payment of salary? So, where is the money to spend? Stop being a sycophant
The budget is not completely financed by loans.

1.57 billion dollars is what we are getting from the world bank in this year's budget. The budget is over 30 billion dollars, and it's derived from national income from oil and gas receipts, tax etc..

Of course Nigeria will continue to take DEVELOPMENT loans.
