Today marks my one year in blender and believe me it has been great and fun...like every one else having blender for the first time is like hit a brick wall but it is surmountable and there is always a break through. so hear are some of my works in blender .....who didnt try his hands on that cup thing?.....i did anyway also i tired text too and that model was my ever first one.

Can't wait. |
Yinksey:Is cool. you are there... I like it. Try adjusting you camera to avoid having ample background space. |
Preboy: my first scene with CYCLES!!!!Good beginning. |
The Long wait will soon be over for walking Dead tv series fan as the fifth season starts this month. The fifth season of the AMC horror–drama television series The Walking Dead is scheduled to premiere on October 12, 2014, and consist of 16 episodes.[1] The series is based on the series of comic books of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard; it was developed for television by Frank Darabont and is executive produced by Kirkman, David Alpert, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Tom Luse, and Gale Anne Hurd. Gimple continued the role of showrunner after assuming the position with the fourth season. I can't wait.

CODEEATER: any body plan to go into vfx or game dev?vfx... Working on green screen and camera mapping and tracking. Learning with my blender3D |
Ok. I will |
Ok. |
I just did. Oya! |
Yinksey: wow! thanks boss! I will do that right away, don't mind me though, just lazy me, I have to get rid of that attitude, BTW corrections are always welcomed...its all about improvement...thanks once again. You well come. |
nice work yinksy . u didn't ask for correction hope you won't find mine offensive...1) the river should reflect the sky color 2) the cabin roof seems to possess life in it because of the Green grasses which I think is not cool (dead leaves would be great ) 3)the cabin needs more textures cause i suppose is an old cabin which you have tried achieving. you can as well add a tree beside or close to the cabin. I love the passion. well done mate. |
Preboy: you guys have forced cycles on me, now I can't get my textures right. I am unable to input an image as a texture and there is no stucci option unlike blender render. For this, you haven't scratched off cycles surface yet. Of course you can use image as texture in cycles. If you are in Lagos..we can arrange for lots of tuts from my blender tut Lib. . |
Soonest blender 3D will be one year in my possession. And I must say that It has been fun all through the 12 months. That been said, I'll make a little presentation of my toils in blender right from abinatio to what I have at the moment. Thanks to Stephen who is the CEO of this wonderful blender community thread though he has decided to be absent for reasons best known to him. Then the Great engineers of the thread, the Blender3D patriots, the MEN!..likes of Shimsh, Ladanski,Kazuma, ncpat, bluemag, also in that same tag we have Yinksay (I love the spirit man) then preboy whom I don't want to believe he is yet to peg his tent in Blender. @Preboy... I want you to know that you can do massively a lot with blender. It is an open software therefore a lot of programmers are workin round the clock for the sake of this software. I started with version 6.8 and is not even a year yet we now have 6.9,7.0 and 7.1.not to mention the previous versions. What does this tell you.. that the blender3D community and programmers are up spot. Like one of us said and I quote Yinksey: they are many, such Arnold render, octane render, luxrender, vray etc but if I may ask, why do you still needed external renders when you have cycles, cycles. is like a threat to those renderer.... loland not just to these render engines also to other 3D packages. Am not here to convince you, like I said you have your choice so make do with it. I still believe strongly that soonest we will dive into a short movie. All we need is to make up our minds about it and be enthusiast too...I bet you guys we will achieve it. For those who would like to derail this thread should resist please...when ever you visit this thread please let's speak one language( blender language) other 3D packages have there own spot so when ever you need to discuss or ask questions on them pls go straight to them. To my fellow Blender masters God bless and keep up the good work. |
Preboy: ya cycles this, cycles that. cycles is the slowest, noisiest and most complicated renderer eyes ever seen, I can't even make a glass cup with that stuff. maybe cycles is GPU dependent, then I'd understand, since my GPU is quite old.ok...u av got choice. |
Failed from the Beginning. |
Yinksey: they are many, such Arnold render, octane render, luxrender, vray etc but if I may ask, why do you still needed external renders when you have cycles, cycles. is like a threat to those renderer.... lolSeconded and affirmed. |
Yinksey: this is where I got to, more work to do.welldone,...nice |
I don't know if you guys can see this from my own perception...https://www.nairaland.com/1904068/nigerian-dr-pic-survived-ebola This will really make a good script for the proposed but yet to be actualized open move. What do u think. |
SirJohn(m): 9:16am On Jul 11, 2010 But I am of the opinion that we may never be able to see some of the bible time miracles in our day for very obvious reasons : there is a very large knowledge gap between the old times and now, medical science has greatly improved since then and so has engineering, arts, politics etc. I believe these are all workings of God. @Mbaemeka...there is nothing wrong there. gosshhhh!!!...honestly you av got no iota of point anymore. Why don't you forget that this thread ever surfaced. |
SirJohn you are good...the mannerism you apply while stating your claims is amazing. For me, right from abinitio I never got hooked when ever the pastor with relaxed heir hit ma TV screen. Weldone Bro. |
