Death of Her Innocence.

It drowns in shallow depths,
in the suffocation of Morals.
It Wallows in Dark Shadows,
in the snare of the world's lust.

It bleeds out its breath,
and exhale all that's left.
it abandons solemn advise
and embrace the devil's smile.

It explores intense desperation,
devoid of right and wrong. it conceal
alluring sights,
attached to satisfaction of the flesh.

It drains all that is humanly right,
and leaves the soul in an empty vacuum.
It steals her unsuspecting innocence,
and bury it in the darkness of immorality.

Angelanest:
A journalist who visited the residence of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB in Umuahia, Abia state capital earlier today - has shared pictures from the area which has been deserted following the military invasion in the region.

According to Nnamdi Kanu's lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who accused the Nigerian Army of declaring war on Mr. Kanu, the soldiers forcefully gained entrance into Nnamdi Kanu's house after shooting for about 40 minutes. His entrance gate was broken and forced open in a bid to arrest the IPOB leader.

The Sun Once Shed Tears.

Like a déjà vu it returns,
tension in its plight, darkness in its light.
Like an old song it echoes,
memories of the pain, agony of the past.

Like a lonely bird it sings,
melody within its tone, anguish within its rhymes.
Like an elder it recalls,
death on the streets, mourning on repeat.

Like a nightmare it haunts,
FGN shed no blood, IPOB it would flow like a flood.
Like civilized Nations it requires,
Human Rights should not be left, dialogue would be right.

Like a déjà vu it returns,
tension in its plight, darkness in its light.
Like an old song it echoes,
memories of the pain, agony of the past.

BusinessRe: Fake 1000 Naira Note From Zenith Bank, Dutse Alhaji Branch In Abuja by tosan245(m): 9:36am On Sep 08, 2017
mactoni91:
Goodday Nairalanders,
I have heard tales of customers being paid fake notes by ATMs but never believed it will someday happen to me.
To cut the story short, I travelled to Abuja for an Interview some days back which ended on tuesday.
Last night at 8:05pm, I went to Zenith bank's 3rd ATM at Dusten Alhaji to withdraw the last 1,000naira in my GTb account (Last four digits of my card 4713) only for me to notice this morning that the money was fake. I went back to the bank to report not quite long and was told by one modupe who obviously was incharge of cash that there was no way the Atm would pay me a fake currency(At a point she was rude to me).
She later directed me to their H.O.P who also stood his ground that there is nothing they can do and that I have to bear the loss.
Pls nairalanders, how do I get my money back because I am very convinced that the machine gave me the fake note as I do not have any cash on me before the withdrawal and after the withdrawal, I only had the same 1,000 naira on me.
I didn't buy anything that would make me think the money was swapped.
Below are the images of the fake currency
This actually happened to me in UBA Bank last year.
Poems For ReviewBeautiful Vanity by tosan245(op): 9:30am On Sep 08, 2017
The execution of natural beauty,
with the spear of make-ups and mascara.
The illusion of assumed taste and class,
achieved at the expense of reality.

The quest for enhancement of delusion,
be it in Peruvian and/or Indian hair.
The sacrifice of thy precious genital,
for the bidder that pays the highest price.

The deception engraved in this worthless sacrifice,
with the aim to remain bright and flashy.
The cost accrued in this bloody line,
Well drowned in the depths of intense regrets.

The desire to be attached with affluence,
devoid of the sacrifices to be borne.
The men dragged down for this to be achieved,
lost forever in the belly of lamentation.
