Landed safely in MCO airport orlando..around 10.30am with my family.....got down the plane and moved to the biometric self kiosk machine to have our finger prints,passport scanned and picture taken....no stress..no wahala...,moved to que to meet the CBP with my family.....the following transpired :
CBP....hello,how r u..
Me: fine
Cbp: how many of you here
Me: 4
Cbp: wats your purpose of visit here?
Me:family holiday
Cbp: how long u staying
Me: 13 days
Cbp:...stamps all 4 passport and writes date...
Cbp....while writing...,how much u have with u?
Me:I have ....... in total
Cbp:...OK ,here u go,welcome to America
..........2nd Que (secondary inspection )
Cbp..any food or drink to declare?
Me... no
Cbp....how long u staying
Me... 13days..
Cbp: ok,welcome ..u can go.

Thank God for journey mercy after 16 hours .....no wahala. Am very tired..thanks Alll

Thanks bro...still in the air ooo....16 hours from Dubai to Orlando Florida. .emirates airline....6hours to go

On my way to orlando Florida now for a 2 week holiday ,left Lagos yesterday with my family via Emirates,now in complimentary hotel in dubai will be boarding in 2moor for a 15hour journey...I pray it all goes smooth and I would come testify as it goes or any other advice..

I witnessed same thing yesterday Friday at Heritage bank branch in front of eko hotel VI,a pregnant woman came to use the Atm and within few minutes my wife noticed water running down her legs and she de demo well well ...we had to assist her inside to sit....she now started story that her Eco bank Atm is not working that she wants to withdraw money to transport herself to LUTH that her hospital is sangotedo said she needs to be operated on..so she just branch here to use atm.....we asked of her husband...she said his phone is switched off...eventually she was requesting if we could all assist her with money so she can get a taxi from VI to LUTH...that she needs to b operated on.the bank management offered to carry her but she insisted that she still no pickup some things on d way...eventually we were able to assist her with some money and taxi....

Good morning house! Got into Florida yesterday morning through emirates flight. Entry into the state wasn't stressful.
After having my passport scanned, had to line up to meet with a cbp officer....
My interaction with the cbp officer:
Cbp: hello, good morning
Me: good morning
Cbp: how are you doing today?
Me: I'm doing good but very tired from the 15 hour flight from Dubai
Cbp: so sorry about that ma'am.... Can I have your passport and declaration form?
Me: (passes both to him)
Cbp: what do you do ma'am?
Me: I'm a bla bla bla
Cbp: how long do you plan to stay in Florida?
Me: 16 days
Cbp: okay... How much do you have with you?
Me: $1200
Cbp: (smiling) are you sure you have up to that with you? Just in case they want to confirm at the secondary inspection....
Me: yes I have exactly that with me
Cbp: okay ma'am, hope you're planning on visiting Disney World?
Me: (smiling too) oh yes... The hotel I'll be staying at, provides a shuttle to several tourist sites.
Cbp: okay ma'am (smiles as he stamps 6 months on my passport) have a lovely vacation.
Me: thank you, have a lovely day

Proceeding to pick up my checked in luggage and then straight to secondary inspection...
Cbp2: good morning ma'am
Me: good morning
Cbp2: do you have laptops or digital camera in your luggage?
Me: no.... I have just my cell phone with me
Cbp2: okay....any agricultural produce?
Me: not at all
Cbp2: alright ma'am just scan your luggage over there and you are good to go.
Me: (place my luggage on the scanner) then pick them up at the other end.
Cbp2: have a lovely day ma'am
Me: you too... (heading out into Florida fresh air)
All in all, no stress apart from the long queue.... Already enjoying my holiday here.

Will be in Florida in some days time with my Family...hope the Immigration officer were not too harsh.....then how was the stopover in dubai...flying with emirate too...

Guys pls advise me in this one, i will be travelling with my daughter in few days to Newyork, i heard laptops and digital camera is not allowed anymore do u advise i dont go with them? Am so confused .

Laptops and cameras are allowed..its just that u cant carry them in as hand luggage again..it has to be checked in with your baggs...especially if u will be having a connecting flight through any of Arabs countries listed by the US govt.

does anyone have an experience flying Emirates from lagos then a connecting flight from Dubai to Florida or any other states .... heard there is a pre screening in dubai b4 boarding for the states.and on getting to the states any issue with the CBP officer.
Then for a family of 4.(wife,hus,5yrs,7yrs kids) going for family holiday in florida,with hotel booking already spending 13days....like how much PTA can one hold ,..excluding hotel reservation.

Now he's out...next is to enter his home town as a hero..next na to go church for blessing..next Join political party as mumu that they are now..they vote for him to continue...
