Nnaa, Minato was one of the most powerful shinobi in the series o. That was one reason he could seal half of the kyuubi in himself o. Remember that even the Gokage could only barely use his FTG to transport themselves to the battlefield. That guy was a bloody monster to even be able to use the FTG. I wouldn't quite agree with the bolded reason being Minato also teleported the kyuubi's TBB when it attacked Konoha and he was not yet a jinchuuriki. Power matters but it is not only power; it should also be a function of whatever the user focuses on - case study: Kakashi cutting of Deidara's arm and also a part of the juubi.

Then the technique should have cut off those chakra arms and not force it off his grip

While that may be true... The space time technique is a teleportation technique, it's not about power or strength... It just simply consumes whatever is in its path.. That's probably why Kurama's grip couldn't stop them from escaping....

I believe Kurama has enough speed to counter the technique, if you disapprove power

I saw this question before and I think it has merit. But I don't remember when space-time techniques ever challenged or were challenged by Kurama's grip. Did that ever happen? The merit, I suppose, is in the fact that Kurama should be strong enough to beat most things that try to snatch something out of his hand.

Apart from strength, kyuubi speed is comparable to the FTG and the FTG has proven to be faster than kamui which is perhaps the same with this technique.

I see. It wasn't that they couldn't use their skills, they just got their normal sequences mixed up. So, they aren't less powerful, just a lot rusty and careless. Those guys couldn't have seriously hurt them even if they tried very hard, in my opinion. Naruto and Sasuke were really just trying to get information and were too careless doing so. Probably because they're freaking gods anyway.

I want to see what happens. I have hard time believing that these Akatsuki people are gonna be the bad guys. Too weak so far and one is already talking all mushy.

Mehn! That movie was terribly disappointing! Kai! I was hoping this movie would be a bit of a bridge between 699 and 700. Or, at the very least, I'd see some earth-shattering reason why Naruto's steadfast infatuation with Sakura suddenly vanished and he married the girl he thought was weird. Imagine discovering that Naruto fell in love with Hinata only when he realized how much she loved him and for how long! The girl nearly died protecting him from Pain during the Akatsuki era, then she pulled a similar stunt in the battle with Obito/Madara/Juubi. And Naruto is just realizing NOW?! Abeg, make Kishi use sofri de insult person intelligence ni.

There's also the suggestion that Naruto did not know what love is? The first time I read that Kishi said that I was very curious to see what he was going to pull. Naruto did not know what love is? That's why he could tell that Sakura was lying during the Sasuke vs Gokage arc? Why didn't he jump for joy then? He was perceptive enough to know that Sakura was pulling a blinder. And what else does a lover do that Naruto didn't?

What the hell happened to his final Kyuubi state? He used to have a cloak. Why do his rasengan and his rasenshuriken look like fire elements? His speed? His strength? God! Kishi!! What the hell?!

Nothing happened in this movie. Seriously, it was an empty story. I'm very disappointed. Or maybe the subtitling was screwed up. Hated the Korean dubbing too. Made me feel weird.

My ultimate conclusion is, he took part of the manga, making it into a whole new, manga-disconnected anti-climax

Just kidding. I haven't watched it but I don't have high expectations. I'm for skipping the details and getting to the good part already. And for me, it has been: how the heck did Naruto get smart and win Hinata? That had to be a story worth hearing joor!

Apart from that, the story got tired for me already.

So i watched the naruto movie.

Not much of an action movie, actually not much of anything...Everyone was dumbed down for naruto and to small extent...sasuke.

hinata falling off a building and needing saving from naruto was jux brutally bad. She's a ninja for God sake, she was jumping longer distances to the taseigan or watever. Sakura almost as useless as ever. Kakashi cannot stop a meteor of that size? A hogake? I cant think of anyone of the previous hokages that cudnt have stopped that. But ofcos sasuke needs to have his moment. Trash. Shikamaru did nothing special even sai outshone him. Naruto spamming rasengan was the most annoying thing ever. So powerful and yet still so boring, is there nothing else this boy can use in battle? Gaara with a female voice? How bad can this thing go. The moon that seemed out of reach during the whole manga now felt like the next town with shinobi going up and down on it.

Honestly the movie didnt even have to have aaction in it. I jux wanted to see how the ninja world coped with the aftermath of the war...what orochimaru was upto, how naruto wooed hinata, u know the drama side of things, how the guys got to be with each other. where were hinata's team mates at the wedding? the two people she spent her ninja tym with? They seemed to care for her a lot.The only part I enjoyed was the closing credits with the wedding pictures. it was beautiful...brought tears to my eyes.

I give the movie a 2/10 for a forced story with women being weak again, important people not featured at all and it all being about naruto oh, and for gaara bring voiced by a whiny voiced lady.

She couldn't do anything cos she was out of strength, out of chakra somehow

Oh and you forgot Kakashi's new jutsu(Hunch no Jutsu)
