helinues: Ghost flights? The airline industry that's is blinking will run ghost flights? How many plans can they run on ghost flights?
Ayam not understanding... Google is your friend. Educate yourself. They clearly do not have to fly to the usual destination, they fly short distances. It's akin to 'warming' your car. Besides, they need to keep their slots. |

seunmsg: And the global retail industry was not hit by the pandemic, right? You’re very bright, keep it up. So you truly are comparing impact of covid on Aviation/Tourism to Retail grocery sector? Smh. A lot of grocery businesses globally are making record sales during this period, demand has gone up. Shoprite clearly is impacted by FX which is a Nigerian issue. |

helinues: Airlines are mostly affected with the Coronavirus...
Flying is not even advisable as most planes have not been on service for months False. There are 'ghost flights' - whereby an airline operates empty flights that don't go anywhere in order to maintain aircrafts' operational availability. Planes that have been grounded for a significant period have to be checked over before they are cleared to fly again, a process that keeps them from flying for even longer and costs the airline money - so they try to keep them operational. |

Premiumwriter: Waec is a secular body. Friday is a work day and it can set the timetable for Friday as it deemed fit.
If a student is too religious and feels he's religion is more important than the exam for that day then he can forego the exam and go for worship. After all waec has and will never force any student to write any Paper at any particular time.
Is this too hard for a 'professor' to reason out? Exactly. It's not mandatory, they can wait till next year to re-write their papers. Nonsense. The man simply just likes controversy. Always bringing up inconsequential issues and making a mountain out of a molehill. |

Tetehjewels: Nonsense!
You people are quick to condemn Nigeria on negatives forgetting that the so called DEVELOPED countries you admire also experience same negatives REGARDLESS of the fact that they are as you called them, DEVELOPED!
Again, nonsense!
Who is even talking about stimulus support here? We are talking about businesses shutting down and you are shifting goalposts.
How did these so called stimulus packages stop these businesses from shutting down?
They have electricity, good infrastructure, yet over 15000 and counting shut down in one month.
You are either high or obtuse if by now you cannot yet see you are talking in the rubbish The fact that you can't connect furlough and stimulus to business continuity shows your level of daftness is worse that I thought. Please GTFO my mention. Sorry ass govt defender. Mschew. |

Tetehjewels: Perhaps there is also a problem with the way USA is also run which made over 15742 businesses to shut down in just one month right?
Every country is feeling the crunch and not just Nigeria Here we go. You folks are quick to compare the developed countries to Nigeria when it comes to NEGATIVE things. Can you not aspire to positives for once? Are you aware the US government provided stimulus support to its citizens? Are you aware the UK paid furloughed employees on behalf of businesses? Pray tell what support has the Nigerian government provided to SMEs and businesses? That is on top of the no light, poor infrastructure these businesses already have to grapple with. Nonsense |
