Otondo Trade-fair land is own by FG, Lagos state government has been lobbing since the days of Tinubu for the place, I thought they will succeed during Buhari's first tenure when they where begging FG to handover most of their land and properties to Lagos state government, that's is why I know Fulani can't never hand power to Tinubu's camp go and mark it on the wall, most of the properties are Dawdan barracks Obalende, Naval camp Ikoyi, Police barrack Ikoyi and Ikeja, TBS, Trade-fair, Bonny camp. Lagos state government tried so hard during GEJ he refused, they had an agreement with Buhari he only allowed Presidency house Marina, and national stadium Surulere
That's all that matters. I thought we iboa own it tho. Thanks for the infor grin

7. Ogun
8. Kaduna
9. Imo ( bc of idiot Rochas)
10. Edo

These are the most financially bankrupt states in Nigeria. You see that the so- called big IGR states are re in a precarious financial position. Struggling to pay workers salary and debt
Why skipped anambra and the rest on your list?

Typical of you lot. grin

Anyway, this thread isn't about that. Goooan open a thread for that. And need I remind you that these same States are the riches and state with least poverty in obodo Nigeria.

IGR simply means high public tax. SW states are loaded with debt anyways. Fashola borrowed to hell and back and you are still paying the public debt.

You are the wholly ignorant one. Like I told your brother Oya transfer 95 percent of your income to the politicians and that way you have higher IGR

For us we prefer low taxes and more money for business to reinvest
Lmao.

TruthbyAll:
This discussion is about INEC governorship election result which I believe most of us are very very much interested in not this tribal ranting.

If you feel you are developing a place and they are not grateful, then talk sense to yourself and your tribesmen to develop your of place of origin. Instead of claiming ownership of everywhere claimable. If you chose to paint your neighbors house rather than yours, that doesn't make you the owner of the building.

As for landowners, it is better to have capital inflow to your region from all avenue rather than rely on yourself alone .

Also you don't need to engrave your name on the walls of your house before people know it is yours.

Hatred brings forth no good fruit, we think we are destroying Nigeria but forgetting we are the NIGERIANS.

Many myopic people don't know that outside the shores of Nigeria they dont see no Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, Edo, Itsekiri, Ibibio man, all they see is a Nigerian.
Thank you o jare.

I know the next thing in your little mind is Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga, kids lolz cheesy

We are talking about numbers not one man squad, learn learn!

There are four or five major market and trade centers in Lagos, namely; Idumota, Trade Fair/Balogun/Auto-Parts, Alaba Intl Market (featured many times on CNN & Aljazeera), Ladipo Spare Parts Market, Ikeja Computer village, and one other one for building materials at Apapa & Orile, and 70 - 80% of these markets are owned and dominated by Igbos!

Go to Lekki from phase 1 - 2, to Lekki County Gardens to Nycon Town to Queens Street to even Banana Island, Igbos are the majority owners of lands and properties in these choice areas of Lagos.

Go to Amuwo Odofin, Igbos have developed swamps into amazing estates, from Okota stretching towards Festac its now an Igbo city looking like Ikoyi.

Where do I start or endhuh

20 - 35% of the tall buildings in Victoria Island is owned by Igbos, I can name them for you because I have classified info, so what are trying to argue forhuh

Dangote might be the richest man, but Igbos as a single tribe have the highest number of millionaires in the whole of Nigeria, you know the truth.

One Iroko does not make a forest. Dangote is one Iroko, same with few Yoruba billionaires, but wealth is spread across all Igbo families and communities.

That's why Igbos don't worship one rich person cos every family or community in Igbo land have their own Iroko wink
grin

Typical of am average IBO man , all talks no facts.

See chest beating at it altitude no to ri olorun grin
Culture › Re: Popular Igbo Traditionalist/Historian Oliver Nwokedi Reveals Secrets About Lagos by totit: 12:09pm On Mar 09, 2019
freedomforall30:
Popular Igbo Traditionalist/Historian Oliver Nwokedi Reveals Secrets About Lagos. Watch this video and learn who actually used to own Lagos. Lagos was formerly called Idu Kingdom ruled by Igbos with Obas as you have some part of Anambra and Igbo area in Delta. It was later relinquished to Edo, Edo being a descendant of Eri in Igboland. Keep in mind that Edo people you see today not all are genuine Edos, real Edo people are descendants of Igbo, you can tell by their Igbo physical features...flat head, hairy, bigger in size, muscular, dominate sports and lighter in complexion. The Edos you see that dominate female football teams or sports, go look at their names. Their surnames are usually like these: Ene, Gwea/Gwa, Ukagbere, Uso, Ero, Esele. These are Igbo blood Edos not Not the ones that look and have Yoruba names like Oshiomole that are today the majority.

Back to my topic, This was a time Igbos used to rule some part of of what you called Yorubaland such Igbo Ora, Ijebu Igbo (Ije bu Igbo in Igbo language, meaning Journey or Traveling is Igbo) and many other places in Yoruba. Go to yorubaland, you will see more places with Igbo names than any other region in Nigeria except Igboland. Why is that; have you asked yourself? Why is it that there no places in Igboland relating to yoruba but the reverse is the case in yorubaland? It's common sense that places you used to live will have traces of you than a place you have never lived. Yorubas migrated from Congo and settled around places like Benin Republic, Togo and present day SW. One way you can tell that Yoruba is not native to these lands they claim is you hardly ever find artifacts in SW relating to yoruba; never!

Link. Watch the video before you comment...lots of facts he stated. Also follow this guy on youtube to learn about ancient Igbo traditions.
