Politics › Re: Dream..last Night....... Tinubu by totit: 3:10pm On Mar 12, 2023
benjamin1997:
mind you , am not a supporter of any political party or presidential aspirant.
but some nights ago , i had a dream and for so long now i have been pondering over it.
The dream goes like this .. .....
-in a very big compound filled with filths and weeds ,the whole nigerians where inside this compound and buhari was in-charge , everyone was complaining about the stinking filths and the weeds that where taking over the whole compound , suddenly buhari left the compound and another man(tinubu)took over and cleared the whole weeds and quenched the filths ,everywhere became clean and was smelling good again and many were happy.
but a section of people(igbo) in the compound were still not happy over the man now in_charge(tinubu), they where complaining, backbiting ,grudging and lamenting that they want to leave the compound , after several conplaints , the man incharge(tinubu) now allowed them to leave and they left the compound slowly -
......that was the dream i had some nights ago, even before tinubu went to the president and declared interest to contest for the presidential seat.

THANKS...
The bolded line is what I can't wait to see.
After which we shall build a wall to stop them from migrating to my region, SW. grin

It has not been raped it's just that we are not organised like them. That is all. Any form of buying and selling is business. Even to other countries. China sell to other countries. That is also business. Rendering services is also business
It has been raped based on the fact that we are a consuming nation, we don't produce. A buying and selling ' economy doesn't grow the economy, it ruins the economy. The day China embarked on production rather than consumption that's when it became one of the world's strongest economies.

So, I repeat, it's been raped.
Politics › Re: This Is Why Igbos Succeed In Business Wherever They Go by totit: 12:22pm On Mar 11, 2023
The word ' Business ' has been abused, vandalized, and insulted one would want to believe or think the Americans, the Europeans, and the Chinese don't do business yet the majority of these people are not all about " Buying and Selling ' but the economy and numbers of billionaires are often at the Top in the world.

I think the word ' Business " has just been raped here, to say the least. grin

I hate to do this but anyways, let me ask, aside from the emotional outpouring and the emotionally infested journalist can any educated, sane, and probably reasonable person beyond doubt, by law and facts what region Lagos is seated, where it is cited in the law that Lagos doesn't belong to the Yorubas, and or the southwest region?

Anyways, it is ok, anybody can say anything but the law must have stated this if it's indeed fact.

Tinubu went to beg for a commissioner position. He was in the Villa and Gen. Oladipo Diya is a witness. He (Tinubu) said he wanted to be a deputy to a military administrator and when all that didn’t work, he went into his activism.”

Don't really care anyways, just felt it's nice to give those who are already sharing the Senate presidency something to worry about

Atiku and Obi combined won 24 States and FCT outright, do not know why some stewpid people think they won the country like a trophy and can share Senate Presidency like their loot
Ok.

Abuja is intended to be the melting point, not a state. Unlike states, FCT doesn't have a Governor but is governed directly by the president through the Minister. Unlike states, Abuja doesn't have its own House of Assembly but is under the House of Reps. Clearly, Abuja is not a state and is not intended to be so

The status of the FCT is special. FCT is where all Nigerians converge, hence a candidate MUST win 25% there
Yes, it's so special that a win in FCT is all I need as a presidential candidate to win an election in Nigeria because the remaining 36 states are useless as long as I have a win in FCT.

Do you feel better, does it sound better rl you now? cool grin

EcoBrick:
https://punchng.com/obidients-close-alternative-result-collation-portal-after-tinubus-lead/
Collating results on an independent iReV, with the help of other Obidients, the first set of results shared by Essien showed that Obi was in the clear lead, a development that further justified the claim that their candidate was allegedly rigged out.

“The way things are going, by tomorrow, we would have counted 160,000 polling unit results and done our own collation. All collation officers that thought they could announce anything they wanted did not understand the power of a mass movement,” Essien had tweeted on Thursday.

Trouble however started hours later after the collation showed that Tinubu polled more votes than Obi and Atiku combined and was in the lead against expectation. With the development, some Obidents turned on Essien and accused him of allegedly working for the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, and not for Obi’s cause.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

You see the law is the law

Whether it is fair or not is a completely different topic. if the law is unfair, then you have to go back to the law makers to change it

But the law as of today is that a candidate must score 25% in 24 states AND FCT
No. It is not a must, that's your interpretation of the law.

In every context, whether in nysc, census, etc, Nigeria division is referred to as 36 states and fct. If they now say something (24) in 36 states and fct, that means if you won in 23 states + fct making 24, then you're qualified because fct is seen as one of the states(36+1=37 federating units). It doesn't mean fct is a mandatory or compulsory.

Senator Shehu Sanni of the Congress for Progressive Change party and the President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria (CRCN) throws shade at the Igbos Viana twitter post.

If Lagos has become too hostile just know that Birnin Gwari forest in Kaduna state, Sambisa and Dajin Gundumi in Zamfara are no man’s land, with more than enough space for trade and commerce.

The post did not seat well with a lot of South Easterners as they go under his tweet to express dissatisfaction.

Please get what the issue is here. The issue is not Obi

The issue is that the constitution requires the candidate to score 25% in FCT to be declared winner and Tinubu didn't even get up to 20% and so ought not to have been declared winner of the election
Ok. The Court of law will do justice to that me I no get strength to dey explain again abeg. cheesy

In fact, why don't we forget the 36 States of the federation and kuku dash whoever wins the FCT the winner, wouldn't that make sense after all according to them?

Make Nigeria kuku ask all voters to move into FCT during election and forget the 36 states after its the only place that determines the winner, abi nah? grin

Well, your interpretations seems to suggest you see it as a state

so it's 24 states AND FCT
You guys still don't get it; so, if for instance, Obi won 10 states plus FCT and another candidate won 34+ states without FCT so, because the FCT is one super capital Obi will.be declared the winner?
