L.M Ayedun..: I really wonder how you got some likes on your no-brainer post. The government is a total reflection of its leader. He picked his cabinet and the bunch thieves he surrounded himself with; and you expect me to blame his non-performance on an imaginary government or act of God. Not so sure you know the purview of a true leader. |

Japhtee: Ehu Rufai simple hate Mr. President because he is christian. APC men keeps showing us how islamist they are. GEJ, that your God, I mean our God through Jesus who picked u from nowhere and make u the no 1 will still keep u their. Remember he has giving you power to subdue and trample upon sarpent and scorpion and nothing shall by any means hurt u, which that Ehu_Rufai is one of. There they go again playing the religious card and honestly what beats my imagination is how some shallow thinking Christians fall for this over and over again. What's the use of having a Christian thief in power who ends up looting our treasure with his cohorts, as against having an honest atheist or Muslim that would turn around the fortune of this country. Hope you do realize if everyone is to play that card, the Muslims would win and if we played the ethnic card, the northerners would coast home with victory. For the record, I am southern christian. 3 Likes |

Ijebulogic: You succeeded in contracting yourself here. Going by your New-york story, one would have thought you would advice the Goan minister to borrow a leaf from the US. The fact that a set of people misbehaved doesn't give him the liberty to insult ALL Nigerians including YOU. That was uncouthed and a parochial from a serving minister. What happened to getting the erring Nigerians arrested and tighten up on the Indian immigration policy? 1 Like |

Billyonaire:My concerns are not closely aligned with that of the OP, however, I do find his point on the road neglect quite essential for assessment of good governance. Governance in democracy is all about the people; I particularly feel its unethical and not a good governance practice to have waited for a relatively "major" ceremony (that impacts the first family) before the bad road is fixed. Any road not motor-able for the leaders and VIPs should not be motor-able for the people. This applies to all bad roads (state and federal) in the country. |

Iamzuna: Agreed, but the fact that --others have done or are currently doing that doesn't make it right. Honestly, if we don't start speaking up (of devoid of any religious or tribal prejudice) on these anti-people practices, there ain't gonna be any change in the nearest future. |

Iamzuna: Mr. Aboki, Your name implies what you really are. I think you have failed in your attempt, though i dont like the president but if you no get better thing complain about, then go hug transformer or better still u for jump comot for plane so that all of dem go know say you dey vex. So because of you the President should wait abi, or security should not be put in place when President and Governors wan use airport. Well anytime you are free and President dey come your State, go airport go watch and you go foolishly see the ceremonial welcome he will get. So if you still wan complain then make you go the nearest police station near you go write statement. Am quite sure your perspective would have been different if you had been on that flight. The OP raised a number of salient points-- the hurriedly fixed road all because of the burial, -- the danger of unplanned hovering of a "local" aircraft in the air because some VIPs (not the President) intend to take off. |

Dannylux: Like seriously!!! Do you feel a Nigerian President is more likely to come under attack than an Israeli PM or a US president that are constantly being targeted by matured terrorist organisations? On the flip side; whose responsibility is it to make the country safe? 1 Like |

ferdimako: My point is -- Why would Engineer Australia (EA) assess a typical Bachelor in Engineering degree as being equivalent of AQF Bachelor and ACS feels otherwise. Why the disparity in outcome independent of the assessing body. If ACS had assessed by B.Eng as being a minor in Computing, I would sincerely have understood, but not equate a 5-years effort to a 2-year diploma. What happened to assessing it as equivalent to bachelor and rank as ICT minor. I particularly don't think its due to course content, but a country thing. |

lawland: That has always been the case with ACS.. But it mostly happen to B.sc in computer science.. A lot of people here have had successful assessment for their degrees.. I wonder why ACS is assessing B.eng.. What skills did you apply for? Computer and Network professional, had my years of experience in IT. Read Electrical Engineering. Funny enough, they assessed the degree as being suitable and comparable to a major in computing, only that they now ranked it with a typical 2 years course in Australia. Am thinking of appealing the assessment, but I want to be sure other applicants with a typical Nigerian degree have had positive degree assessment comparable to AQF Bachelor degree. |

townshipjames: Hi Guys, @ Jenny, I would really appreciate your input here as you must have had a couple of experience with sub-class 189. Thanks a bunch!!! |

Hi Guys, Anyone working on PR 189 subclass? My Bachelor in Engineering degree was assessed by ACS (Australian Computer Society) as being equivalent to Australian Qualification framework Associate degree which ranks as level 6 and not Bachelor degree ranked level 7. I would like to find out if this was an isolated case or generic for Nigerian Degrees. The implication of this is I would not be able to claim my expected 15 points for education and 10 points for employment, as 5 years was also deducted from my years of experience. Anyone out there got his Bsc/Btech/BEng assessed as being equivalent to AQF bachelor degree? |
