Osimhen himself is selfish. He just made his nonsense attitude take the shine off this emphatic display by the super eagles.

Did you observe that after Osimhen shouted at Lookman, Lookman began to release the ball quicker?
He stopped all the needless stunts and dribbles
That's all Osimhen was saying..
Pass the ball on time
Una no need all this leg over
He is selfish and he leads our assist log with 4. Issokay

Expressing frustration at a play isn't unusual, every player does it. The difference however is that Osimhen takes it up a notch and gets in his teammates face, and that is totally unacceptable. If there are reservations, you sort it out in the dressing room and should it be necessary, speak directly to the player involved. What you don't do is throw a tantrum every time a play doesn't go your way.

You'll also notice that no one seems to be able to calm him down, not even the team captain. Again z players get angry, but the importance of team structure is that when the captain asks that you tone done you do so. This is the second time Ndidi has asked him to relax and he literally just shoved him to the side.

I like Osimhen but this isn't acceptable and it's detrimental to team spirit.
He should f**k off, those saying we don’t play well without him, God forbid he sustains a career threatening injury, will that be the end of the super eagles ?
Absolutely No

If you have a better striker replace him make we see!

Life is all about the good, the bad and ugly na we Nigerians Dey find perfection in everything. Other countries will do anything to have an osihmen in their team if possible. If Una like make Una throw am out of the team! Phew
Bro
What is bad is bad.
Before osimhen, there was the super eagles, after osimhen, super eagles will still exist.
We all watch European leagues and we’ve all seen worse selfish moments from players but common, shouting and pointing fingers to your teammates, a one time African best player. That’s total disrespect

I saw the Nigeria Mozambique pre match conference on YouTube and all I can say is that Nigerian journalists are dumb. They should stop parading themselves as journalists. Instead, they are content creators.

You see that FIFA case ehh 100% Dr congo is out... The problem now he say we fit still lose that intercontinental playoffs 💀
I'd rather play Algeria in quarter finals abeg than Dr congo
For semi final give me south Africa
Then finals Senegal
I think I this part will be more easier to win the AFCON than playing Dr congo in quarters, Morocco in semi's
Do you know if they played any of those players wey get comma at AFCON?

The interception, the skills, the flair, iwobi’s perfectly weighted pass, osimhen’s cut back and Lookman’s Calmness for that third goal was a beauty to behold.
It has been on replay for me since morning.

It’s like they should replay the 75 minutes for me again. Even Chelle admitted that was the best 75 minutes of his coaching career.

Lookman's intensity is underrated. Baba de chase ball like say match bonus de for duels!

I know it doesn't look like it but I really wish we win this AFCON.
If we can be consistent like we played in the 70 minutes of this game, we will play in the final

No vex bro, the thing just piss me off, also that wasn’t a threat, I was only joking that I’ll drag you if the decision comes out positive.
But common bro, go and rewatch that scene again. It was never a penalty

But tbh the handball was legit. Why don’t you think so? The pushing was just me on a lighter note. Forget that one. I was joking. Just pointing out the fact that you can’t have your hands out like that almost pushing someone and then someone thinks the hand is in a natural position.
Bro
Even if you like playing the antagonist, Try playing it with sense. Go and rewatch that scene again. It was mever a handball, he wasn’t even looking at the ball. Use your head na. Na be everyday you go Dey clown around.

Our pressing has also been good, and have on numerous occasions prevented a comfortable build up by the Tunisians.

Our rotation is also looking real tidy and we fill in gaps better.
noticed this too, Lookman's press to be specific. he is pressing like a man on mission. Nigeria would have cooked if we qualify for the world cup.

bro I don’t know for una but the guy no dey impress me and he is no where close to Ideye’s class

Ideye wasn’t prolific but can dribble and create chances unlike Akor

The difference Akor has over others (Boniface,Tolu eye) is just that he is a team player who tracks back to help the team

He is yet to impress me. Had it been say Boniface dey serious he would hv been the perfect foil for Osimhen
I think he is also similar to boniface, just that boniface is more skillful than him

try to filter and mention those complaining senselessly from those complaining objectively…my own take is that we should have put the game beyond reach…thank God we won and we have the 3points….but looking at how the game went, our attack did not nail those guys to their coffin….
you see what senegal did? result like theirs send fear to the next opponents
if i didn't watch the game and came here to read comments, i will think we strugggled all through. but from what i saw today, we were not our best but it wasn't a bad game

Our middle is the problem we need someone in there to read the game better
from what i saw today, Ndidi is actually the problem. probably he lost legs. what was missing was someone who could recover ball and recycle possesion, but once opponent collect ball like this, Fiam.....expressway.

Did he denounce or relinquish his Dutch nationality before doing so? You claim the reason Ehizibue could not represent is because he had to give up his Dutch citizenship yet Ebuehi with the same Dutch citizenship and Quincy Abeyie for Ghana were still able to switch.

If extra paperwork is required depending on each specific case, then your NFF should be willing to go through with the process if indeed they need the players for the SE.

But knowing how they operate they'll say we have Aina and Osayi, etc. and so no need for such
According to chatGPT

"Yes, Tyronne Ebuehi remains a
dual citizen of both Nigeria
and the Netherlands.
While Dutch law generally aims to limit dual nationality, Ebuehi falls under a specific legal exception that allows him to keep both:

Acquisition at Birth: Under the Dutch Nationality Act, children born to at least one Dutch parent automatically receive Dutch citizenship at birth.
Exception to Renunciation: Because Ebuehi acquired both Dutch and Nigerian citizenship automatically at birth (through his Dutch mother and Nigerian father), he is not required to renounce either one. The strict "no dual citizenship" rule primarily applies to adults who voluntarily apply for a new nationality through naturalization later in life."

They have presented valid Congolese passports to FIFA. That’s why they’re able to switch.

Only DRC can validate a DRC passport. So If DRC government says their passport is valid. Then it is valid pending other FIFA requirements such has showing actual connection to the country via descent.

FIFA does not have the jurisdiction to interpret or even debate DRC law, or her failure to uphold it. Their refusal to renounce is not FIFAs business.
