Did Ramos make it to last euros ?
Ramos has been struggling with injury recently at psg ,the World Cup is near so let’s see if Luis Enrique will drop his boys for him
Is balogun half the player Ramos or Thiago Silva is ,is he playing at high level like them ?
Balogun is good for the next World Cup where he will be 34 ,maybe you want him to play another World Cup at 38 like Thiago Silva will be doing ,you think say Chelsea Na Rangers abi
Balogun will be 34 while musa is 29 ,where did I tell you musa must go to another World Cup ?
Will balogun be playing at a high level at 38 ? I doubt Baba

ChrisKels: Gernot Rohr's payoff by Adepoju Tobi Samuel
I had a chat with my source & we spoke about the financial figures quoted in the media as Gernot Rohr payoff.
My source: Are you guys done with the cruise and figures? All the emergency lawyers and business advisors everywhere, we both smile.
1.
"I saw people quoting $3 million. I have also read the N600 million & N1 billion payoff figures."
Me: Rohr earns N20 million monthly and he has 13 months left on his contract which is N260 million cumulatively.
However, contract termination has different clauses.
2.
"There is no clause in Rohr's contract that we will pay heavy compensation if his contract is terminated talkless of having any $2m or $3m compensation clause, this is false."
I asked about what clause permits the NFF to terminate Rohr's contract.
3.
"It’s not just about meeting the target, there are other grounds his contract can be terminated under the termination clause. It’s false to say once he meets his target his contract can’t be terminated. There are several listed grounds that could warrant termination."
4.
"The NFF hold the knife & the yam in the contract termination, shocking to see people claiming NFF are foolish or rope themselves into a bad contract or claiming Gernot Rohr has good lawyers. How could that be possible when it was the NFF that drafted the contract?"
5.
"Will the NFF draft a contract & rope themselves into heavy compensation? We had strong negotiations. In the new contract that we offered Rohr, he took a pay cut, agreed to reside in Nigeria & earned in Naira. How come people came up with the millions of dollars compensation?"
6.
"We are professional & respectful, we have worked with Rohr for 5+ years. We are managing the negotiations between all parties. The discussion has been concluded."
Like I mentioned on Tuesday night, the suggestions to terminate Rohr's contract were overwhelming.
7.
"We will sort out all documentation and make an official announcement this week. We have listed several options for the payoff. It will be in installment and the fee is not the outrageous figures in the media."
8.
Options:
- Rohr to take 6 months salary payoff, which is about N120 million and it will be spread across months.
- Rohr to stay off coaching job and earn his monthly salary from now till next year December.
- All outstanding will also be paid in batches.
I think adepoju tobi Samuel is on this thread |

It's when they extend it yo q world cup that I'll know that Africa is really mad. Quota is ruining Nigeria and now Africa. |

Why are we even debating about these players sef, when we have someone who is tactically inefficient as a coach. Make Ronald and messi play for Nigeria with rohr as coach, baba will still look for one excuse why Nigeria can't win a trophy |

TheSuperNerd: Before anyone at all, we are definitely missing the right tactical approach and some sort of calmness to our game l. We started the game by building from the back within the first 10-15 mins and afterwards abandoned that idea to switch to "route one" and getting the ball to Iwobi or Simon to "try" push an attack because we have zero creativity and no ball-carrying through the middle. The team for the final 10 mins of the half played like they were in a hurry to make things happen and in the process will give the ball away. From Iheanacho to Onuachu to Collins and even sometimes Iwobi. They really lost the ball at times when they should have massde better decisions.
With that said, lots of regulars are missing from Osimhen to others like Chukwueze, Balogun, Zaidu, Ebuehi, Aribo, Kalu, and ofcos a proper midfield conductor.
Hopefully the team steps up in this second half.
Baba, the truth is that rohr's team has never been organised, we play like like an amateur team. This man must go by fire by force. |

Great, I would actually agree with you that he's above average but not world class.
For me, a world class player is one that is able to sustain brilliant performance and numbers at the highest career stages i.e World cup, Champions league etc.
So once a player has had big numbers consistently in the local league, cup games (and world cup of applicable), and has had great numbers in the champions League as well for at least three seasons, he is world class!
Typical example for an attacker (bar long term injuries);
Local league games for the past three seasons = Must have scored atleast 20 goals in each season
and
Champions League appearance for the past three seasons = Must have scored atleast 20 goals (or close) combined in all three seasons.
And
Cup games (and world cup if applicable) during the past three seasons = Must have scored atleast 20 goals combined in all three season.
Based in these standard, Jamie Vardy isn't world class!
Mbappe is world class! Mbappe stats in the past three season;
Ligue1 = Has scored over 20 close or close to that in each of the past 3 season. Check
Champions League = has scored close to 20 goals combined in the past 3 seasons Check.
Cup games and world cup = scored close to 20 goals combined Check.
Result = World class!
The above stat is a reference just for strikers. Midfielders, defenders goal keepers have their separate reference stats for categorising a player as world class.
I really do not have the time to write up the reference stats for midfielders, defenders etc.
But really, we here need to have our own definition of a world class player as this has been a widely used term without clear definition.
I just threw a first stab at it and mine can be used as a preliminary.
We should make the definition, modify it, agree and sticky it somewhere as a standard. So when next anyone will call a player world class he can first consult on our standard
P.S. Ndidi would have to feature consistently in the big games and do what he does best in the world stage before he can be confirmed as world class. For now he isn't. Beautiful rubbish |

12large1: I think we played well today irrespective of the scoreline. We created chances, hit the cross bar, shots on targets despite already qualifying with 2 games to spare. The most impressive player on the pitch was "Zaidu" and ironically he is the only one playing at the last 8 of the Champions league. - The exact reason why I always advocate for our players to play at the best clubs in the world. There's Quality and there's Quantity.
Ola Aina was disappointing I was one of his biggest advocate at RB but if he keep playing this way, he will remain a back up to ebuehi and Awaziem at rb. Akpoguma at RB is a No no
Zaidu - MOM for me was world class today
Ekong and Balogun were shaky, uncomfortable with the ball but sadly there are no better replacement for now so we have no choice
Chukwueze - Disappointing talented but unprofessional.
The best players on the pitch today
1) Zaidu MoM 2) Onyekuru I was very impressed by him and to me he is better than Kalu, Simon, at LW But but the Portuguese league is a farmer's league na |
