it would fair you better to work on your CV, and check out firms in Abuja that might need an IT /network administrator, i.e. IT firms and most companies really, drop your CV's, you can offer to work for little to no pay for a period of 3months, they would be more willing to take you. I've gone through that route, that was how I got all the jobs I've ever got till date, I check out companies that fit the bill, I walk up to their office and submit my CV. There are no guarantees they'll all call you back but hey what do you have to lose right?I did my CCNA, CCNP 11 to 10 years ago, I had to learn on the job.....Good luck

With IT skills u shud be earning more than that bro unless Ure not developing ur skill set. How much time/hours do u have to work as special assistant daily? Compare that to time demands on ur current job and see which gives u more opportunity for self development cos I think wats more important for u is self development rather than any of these 2 jobs. Once u can develop ur skills and do sm certifications u can even get a better job.

I don’t see any job security with a 40k job as an IT person. When is ur current job gonna even promote u or increase ur pay? Any idea??
