horlahwaley: Hi Nlanders, I am about to seek admission into NOUN to obtain an M.Sc. in Public Health. I work for my state government and am also an entrepreneur. Due to the nature of my job being demanding. I am thinking of doing my MSc in NOUN. But what is holding me back is, is it internationally recognised. In case there is an opportunity later in future won't i be sidelined because i attended NOUN? Do conventional university recognize them assuming i want further for PhD?
Even BSC is not worth it, na MSc go come worth it ?
WizardOfNG: Bro, I don't even know why they, acclaimed "supermen" of the World, are whining like toddlers. Whatever they claim Yorubas are doing, they have our express permission to retaliate and do same to us.
It is not today some of us have been warning them that they will really feel it when the progressive and sophisticated Yorubas they have mocked, denigrated and fought against in their own land, for so long, begin to say enough is enough.
This is a cold war whose only winner can be the side that needs the other for nothing at all whereas the side that will lose, and lose big, is that which relies on the opponent for everything from safe place to live, grow and rasie families to market presence to sell their goods as the glorified migrant traders and shopkeepers they are.
"Make your bed, lay in it." Simple and that is what we are seeing now.
Yorubas should learn how to be industrious like the igbos rather than being jealous and envious.
They are the ones stoking those ethnic tensions/hatred, and their bigot in chief is not saying anything about it, because it serves his political interests.
Ibrahimcoomasie: I am not Yoruba. That biggest tribalism title goes to the Igbos. It's so entrenched among Igbos that they don't even know they are practicing tribalism. A few of them know, they speak out but they are in the extreme minority.
Even Peter Obi again in 2023 declared a religious war. That's religious bigotry.
Then if they have no one to direct their bigotry against, they direct it at themselves. Just like the call Ebonyi people Fulani Igbos
You are Yoruba.
Your own bigotry is laced with hatred for non Yorubas.
Una Dey rename streets and bustops up and down for where we call one Nigeria. Nna mhen!
Kingpele: Trump is just a troubled soul ..only him refuse to continue to provide leadership on war against Aids ,by withdrawing from sponsoring HIV drugs, now he want to prevent ladies from protecting themselves from contracting HIV
flokii: This statement of Ali Modu Sheriff is wrong.. Igbos are not more than Hausas in Lagos.
From my evidence-based research, it turns out Southerners from other States outside South West are collectively referred to as Igbos, I mean those from Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Cross Rivers etc. Most Yorubas can't even tell which is which until they reveal their ethnic group.
The failure of leadership in Yorubaland caused the outcome of 2023 presidential elections in Lagos. It was still same failure of leadership that made a certain group attack Lagos under guise of EndSars. The moment Yorubas rose up, they fled back to their holes.
How Yoruba leaders kept quiet and allowed Obi perpetrate his religious bigotry and campaign of calumny in Yorubaland saddens me till tomorrow. Ahh, Yorubas got me heartbroken beyond words. A large chunk of our people went to the polls and voted blindly for a failure with no achievements whatsoever to his name because of what fake pastors said on their pulpits.
We have seen how the one with so much achievement, and the builder of Lagos has destroyed the country in less than 2 years.
Quit being a bigot, otherwise it will consume you.
Guestmale: He could not won these places you mentioned even being a fraud yet he won other places that are not his home state or residence and at the end of the day he won the election.
kedeojo: You are ignorant.Igbos are many in Lagos and they campaign with religious sentiment with obi and other tribes fell for it in Lagos state. He failed wofefully in the core north cos they retaliated by not voting him because of his attack on Muslim. Sheriff didn't put the statement rightly but a deep thinker will understand what he means. Obi will still fail again cos most Christians from other region except south east will not be on panic mode again.
Oga deep thinker. Na only you understand English.
I Too KNOW!
Boko haram kingpin talk, you enter him mind know wetin he really mean.

Omenlon: una like to dey dream well well. I no blame una, na Buhari cabals wen stack all the odds against Tinubu in that election I blame. This time around both Atiku and Peter Obi votes put together no go near Tinubu votes. Tinubu na una mate for politics?
It will even be worse for Tinubu this time.
He has shown the world the failure that he is.
If e sure for am, let him hold back his rigging machine, weda he go see 1 million vote.
He didn’t even win the last elections, otherwise, dem no for off BVAS.
nwadikeokey11: I have been to and lived in some countries in Europe, Asia and some countries in South and Central America, but currently in Nigeria. Honestly I must say, since returning back to Nigeria about 3yrs ago, apart from traveling to Europe and Asia for business I don't feel like relocating to any country in those continent for a stay anymore, and since Nigeria economy is almost eating deep into both my savings and capital, I'm thinking of relocating from Nigeria but not to the so called developed countries, instead I'm considering an African country. I have been to and liived in an East African country, Kigali Rwanda precisely, but is been almost 9yrs now since I left that country, so I wouldn't know how the economy and the development of the country is at the moment. Apart from that, I will really want to hear from some of our brothers and sisters living in other African countries, how are the countries you reside in doing, economic, social, development, etc wise, and which of them could you recommend for a Nigerian who wishes to migrate to an African country. I really hope to get a first hand information from you. Thanks and God bless you.
Why don't you want to live in one of the beautiful European or asian countries now? That's where you find life and development.
irumole1975: Hmm. Not only has it been long we saw different variations of Japa stuffs here but also been a while we saw debates about how Nigerians abroad make $1M every seconds by merely working with a student visa.
Been a while we see “OMG I don’t get these things a billionaire banker in Nigeria who own first bank just relocated to the UK and he’s now making millions of dollars he can never make by working as a manager in Nigeria” “OMG I don’t understand these things my neighbor just sold his 200m business and relocate to Canada for better life” “ it’s for the kids”
What changed? Is it that Nigerians have stopped relocating or people don’t loud it anymore?
jealousy. CORNful monitoring spirit. You and your likes are killing the country and you don't want people to papa, because you want others to drop to your abysmal level.
Dey there dey wait. they will come and tell you when they are leaving.
WizardOfNG: Lol. Just watch as Otti becomes persona non grata, an abomination and "efulefu" to them.
Never known a people so irredeemablly entrenched in politics of hatred and intolerance.
If you are with them, you must never praise anything their sworn enemy does even if such is highly laudable and immensely improves their own lives and that of their generations unborn.
Yet they forget politics should be a vehicle for delivering good governance to the people and not blind messiah worship or a desire to get revenge against others
Who is guilty of blind messiah worship more then APC riffraffs like you?
Exousiang01: I would do the exact same thing Marriage is not a job you can resign at will if you don't like the work environment.
The man is not canceling the wedding because of the singular act, he is canceling ghe wedding because he is wondering how many other lies she has told him.
Some people lie for no reason at all.
She cannot be trusted.
My friend has taken his wife off all documents as next of kin, his reason is thag she doesn't pick her calls, she is home all day he has 24hrs light because he uses solar yet, he can't reach her. A day will come and something unfortunate will happen and his next of kin would not be reachable jusy because of that careless behavior. His next of kin is my humble self, even on his drivers license. He trust me take a call and do the needful not matter the corner of the globe i am, I roam.
Trust is underrated. many marriages have crashed due to issues like this. If the man goes ahead with the wedding he is going to be second guessing everything she says or does probably for the rest of his life
tunjijones: Stop it... Stop acting like there is terrorism in every party of Nigeria. Stop acting like everyone living in Nigeria is living in fear.
Not down playing the kidnapping and herdsmen carnage in Nigeria , people are living their normal life. Like me, I even stay in the northern part of Nigeria and I am living well and fine.
How can I be living in a mansion and have very good source of income in Nigeria, then I leave to go and stay in a one room studio apart in the UK where I will work like a slave for the rest of my life.
The way some of you think is alarming. Because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it is happening.
Nigeria is the way it is because of people like you.
Typical Nigerian....as long it is not affecting you, everybody can go to hell
if things continue the way it is going, e go reach you one day.
Nazgul: Bro enter Benin republic and stamp in and out on your passport. That's like the travel 101 orientation you're expected to know. Disvirgin your passport.
That way you'll look like a tourist when you show up at their embassy for the real stuff.
Dey play😁 they don’t count Benin republic as having travel experience.
If you like, get 100 stamps of Benin on your passport.
