lots of dagrin fans on the thread, hmm. |
lord have mercy. |
hmm, well too late to do anything about it now. been going on for long. |
when did she cut her hair. think it used to be longer. still looks nice though. |
Amaaskia: Of course! Another heartless soul must agree.hmm |
feelxp: He downloaded 98% of his tribute frm; 'great tribute'. I've read d same tribute to aaliyah b4. D guy just added his xpression at d middle.still no evidence of what he actually said, all we're seeing is an online post claiming he said something. same thing they did with prezzo and a poem. |
on point @ poster. lust or infatuation tears down while love builds up. |
fankasibe: I realy had crush for Goldie, that was why i hated prezzo and dat oyinbò guy.the oyibo guy didnt surface until one week ago. are you saying you knew of him before now? |
i dont see what the function of this section is. a lot of the people here are simply pretending to be in heterosexual relationships. that's why any normal thing is so strange to them, and they view it as evil. they simply cant relate to the average person, and are always anti-values and anti- whoever isnt one of them. |
What exactly is the purpose of family section on nl? The site owner has never said he's married, mukina has never claimed that either, so why does the site need a family section when even the owners cant relate to anything here? A lot of the topics are simply used to engender hate and spread discontent and voodoo. Much of the rest isnt very useful either. There are specific sites on the web where people can go to find information if they need it, doesnt necessarily have to be here. |
Nothing is emotional in this piece
True. |
Did he really say that? I'd already guessed about the boots though. |
the lady who mentioned biscuits should just remove or edit her post, that's all. You dont know who is reading what you type. Why offend people uneccessarily, although of course its a free world. and the ones agreeing with the op should mind who they agree with on nl, the fact that someone opens a thread doesnt mean they're ok upstairs. Sometimes you need to let them know they are in error. |
tagging someone a "beggar" just because they requested something from you, is downright mean spirited. Says more about you than the person you're insulting. |
the fact that some of us are trying to tell you folks not to look down on everyone who asks for your assistance, doesnt mean others were raised to beg for things. my own dad did not teach me to look down on those who are less priviledged than me, but i dont trumpet that all over the place because i dont see it as a big deal (my choice, dont quote or copy me). And, no matter what his faults were, my dad was a giver- he gave when he had, and in many ways besides financial assistance. Dont even let me mention my mum- her own giving no get parallel, even when she doesnt have, she will give outsiders of the tiny bit she does have. Is that a fault? maybe, let God be the judge.people were raised differently- some are from homes where they are taught to despise others who they're "better than", while others are from homes where they're taught to interact with everybody no matter your status in life. Its up to you as an adult, how you want to apply what you learnt while young, to your current environment. tagging someone a "beggar" just because they requested something from you, is downright mean spirited. Says more about you than the person you're insulting. learn to say no if you dont agree with a demand, without demeaning the asker. Some have a genuine need, why generalize and attack personas without distinguishing between a need and a want. i would have thought these things are self-evident, this is why I constantly wonder what types of people post on nl. |
no biggie, just explaining my commenting on a post doesnt mean i like whoever started the thread, or the folks posting there. people seem to assume such, dont know why. I guess for some, they only post if they like the postees or whatever. on the banding thing- its just what i noticed, i'm sure there might be written research somewhere if i look for it. |
ba7man: Take a look outside your window...or look around while you're driving. With the way banks are springing up, people are buying brand new cars, young people are setting up their biznesses, people attending shows with silly admittance fees, drinking spots are opening around, shopping plazas are being built and fully rented out b4 completion, markets are thriving, people building houses, buying land.....etc I choose not to belive all this information. Even young men in the ghettos can afford to buy alcoholic drinks, skunk or weed and pay to watch EPL soccer matches in viewing centers owned by people like them.obviously, some sectors are doing fine, however, doesnt mean the overall picture is the same way. I choose not to belive all this informationmight be better if you did. |
hmm, time will tell which report is the actual one then. |
the rich are neglecting the poor and the gap is widening.looks that way. |
possibly the rich, the poor are already used to the situation and probably had no plans to travel anyway, since they cant afford it. |
interesting thread. like they say, teaching a man to fish trumps giving a man a fish. |
The Nigerian society has become immoral and full of criminal mentalitystill true, unfortunately. |
there's no border separating nigeria from any of its neighboring countries. |
^you're one of the people i hate most on this forum, however, that doesnt mean i have to cuss you out anytime i post on a thread opened by you. |
thanks. |
men generally are more protective of themselves (or their interests), than women are of fellow females. |
these updates are not coming from your so called moderatorsthey (or whoever) quickly went and posted one forbes stuff as a sop. i dont know if this is a nigerian thing, or what exactly is so difficult about following due process that people are finding hard to grasp? the matter is complicated enough already, why the constant barrage of unnecessary insults and personal abuse? cyber bullying doesnt apply here? i keep saying, these mods are getting their rules of behavior, from whoever employed them. |
If you're constantly negative, your life will be negative.true. that's why the bible says in all things give thanks, instead of whining. |
