Stop living your fantasies through someone else's aspirations

Your life is over and you will never be able to go back to school.

mama, IT IS OVER FOR you. Just do us a favor, crawl to the nearest corner and DIE. DIE, DIE, DIE IJN mama.

I will be hit by a truck tomorrow, I'll make sure to say my last prayer tonight,

true, boredom is very harmful in old age.
Christianity Etc › Re: When God Does Not Answer Your Prayers by tpia5: 11:06pm On Sep 15, 2011
other reasons for unanswered prayer include asking with wrong motives, living in sin, etc etc. James 4 :3.

sometimes what we're asking for might simply not be God's will.

1. are you married and have you produced any grandkids for her to take care of. No.

2. na orogun una be? Why begrudge her a little distraction and self-fulfilment.

3. are you yourself close to God.

4. There are correspondence courses of all types available. Why not sit your azz down and help her sift through suitable ones if you dont want her going to a classroom.

5. do you know how boring overseas can be for older nigerians? huh

^^dont bank on that.
Family › Re: Medical Examination By Your Brother-In-Law: Right Or Wrong? by tpia5: 9:55pm On Sep 15, 2011
^^men are more pragmatic and forgetful when it comes to some matters.

your husband wont see the need to bypass his own brother for medical care, so dont hold it against him but just call a cab next time and go straight to the hospital you prefer.
Family › Re: Medical Examination By Your Brother-In-Law: Right Or Wrong? by tpia5: 9:49pm On Sep 15, 2011
and if you feel more comfortable being treated at your company hospital, then just go there [you already called a cab].

it's ok to have a second opinion on health matters.

@tpia
This is not a silly thread and no one forced you to comment
most people will not have a problem being treated at their brother in law's hospital.

if you personally do not like it, then just state the reasons why you have issues with your brother in law's care [mind you, this is a public forum], instead of making blanket statements.

this isnt a question of right or wrong for crying out loud.

for goodness sake, what is WRONG with people these days? huh
Family › Re: Medical Examination By Your Brother-In-Law: Right Or Wrong? by tpia5: 9:37pm On Sep 15, 2011
holy moly.

what's the reason for all these silly threads.
Christianity Etc › Re: When God Does Not Answer Your Prayers by tpia5: 9:35pm On Sep 15, 2011
sometimes prayers are answered but not in the way we want [or expect], so we consider them unanswered.

the way people think and type these days, literally sends shivers through me.

not necessarily referring to the op alone, but just people in general.

humanity is getting lost because we think it's not important.

you're not seeing them because they're looking elsewhere.

so yes, you have to be more serious about your search, and yourself too, no offence.

this is not a laughing matter o.
