i know a leopard once escorted my grandma (not pa) up to her doorstep. It never attacked her and she knew how not to provoke it really? a tame leopard? I just imagine wht a girl of this generation would have done during such an encounter what can one do except pray cos even if you climb tree the leopard will climb faster and be waiting for you at any spot there. |

I suspect much of the anti-remi rhetoric is simply a cloak for being anti-yoruba women. |

They were both wrong, imo. Why was your friend wooing a girl he'd already seen with her fiance? Why did he offer her money AND his card after she refused his advances? I fear this generation. |

Poster
the girl was wrong for doing that, but can you explain why your friend immediately offered her money after she initially turned him down.
That's strikingly corrupt.
I'd say both your friend and the girl have problems. |

Katsumoto: You stated that my post is very wrong without offering your own position. Did Other kingdoms not fight Oyo to gain independence from Oyo? I am waiting for your position.
I engage many people on different subjects; my tone is mostly civilised even when the other party isn't there was no need to make reference to that. Just state your opinion. certain things do not depend on people's opinion. |

What I am saying is that the title, today, holds only over Oyo because the other kingdoms WON independence from Oyo this is very wrong. katsumoto, you have a rather weird view of yoruba history. kindly do not go off the deep end over this comment because i'm tired of people taking offence at every little remark as if they lack the basics of civilized conversation. |
