The non oil export business is still at its very primitive stage in Nigeria with a high potential for growth. Therefore, there is space for anyone that would like to earn foreign exchange via the export business. The caveat, however, is to build the capacity to explore the markets and to learn from other people’s mistakes so you can achieve your goals faster. Making mistakes is probably the fastest way by which we learn but those mistakes don’t necessarily have to be made by you. The best way to start something is to be tutored by people in the field already. For more information send mail to proudvisionconsulting@yahoo.com. |
I have recently read many post on how to start an export business and make millions. While starting an export business is a great idea, starting without the know-how can be very risky. Business is about managing risks and as always in business, the investment is not what is risky, it is the uninformed investor who is risky. I have decided to provide comprehensive materials with practical application for anyone interested in exporting agro and solid minerals. Some of the major highlights you want covered include; 1. Identifying genuine contracts. 2. Commodity Transport risks. 3. Capital Risks and Management. 4. Timeline Risks. A thorough understanding of these risks would help you build a successfull export business. You can indeed make a lot of money from export especially given the state of the world economy today. I have also decided to provide details and lists of companies, LBA's and commodities you can trade to give you a headstart. You would be able to view sample Contract reviews, read interviews from people already in the business and get tips on raising capital which is a major challenge to kickstarting your export business. Every business challenge has a solution, if you are keen on getting these materials, send a mail to proudvisionconsulting@yahoo.com. |
@YStranger, i can see that you have totally lost your senses. I wonder if you are normal at all. To show that you're mentally deranged, tell us what you personally did or posted on nairaland about honouring the people that died in Osun. Nothing!!! And now you can criticise another person for trying to speak out when you did nothing yourself. Doesn't that tell you something? I know guys like you, you do nothing and when reasonable people try to get things going, you get the opportunity to show the emptiness of your brain but i'm not surprised, deformed brain cells in your head are to blame. If you have nothing good to contribute besides calling the dead names, you should simply shut up or better still go head a pole. idiot @ you all I'm just saying we could pay tribute in a special way to people we know have paid the ultimate sacrifice in ensuring a better Nigeria on Naira land in as many ways as makes them prominent, that's why Seun's name appears in the topic. To all those who died for this country, may your souls rest in perfect peace and may we live to see the Nigeria you all paid the ultimate price for. Long live these heroes! |
sukky my brother. Aik's death was a rude shock to me. This guy really could have easily boycotted the NYSC but chose like you would expect him, if you knew him, to do. To think that this same guy published different zines on Nigeria, encouraged youths to believe in this country, a die hard, hard core believer in the "Nigerian Project", could be murdered in cold blood is hard to take. I shed tears when i got the call that he was dead. I mean this guy took his money and brains, published different articles about youths, Nigeria, living right, just name it, and distributed freely to people in Lagos, free every month!!!. He openely talked about his dreams for this country as stated in his publications. He had a job and was very hard working. I regret the day he went to Bauchi against my wish. I should have done something to stop him. God!!! Why him? But he should not be allowed to die in vain. This guy's life represented in heart and actions the aspirations of the youths of this country yearning for change. We must keep his name and ideology alive!!! RIP Aik and Obinna. Nairalanders, its up to us to do something about them. They are our heroes, our own mattyres. |
Aik Ukeoma is dead, same goes for Obinna Okpokiri who came all the way from Uk to serve Nigeria. Both were youth corpers. So what are we going to do? We have shown consistently in this country that we can be as passive as ever when evil knocks and mocks. I thought it would not just be RIP, pity their mothers etc, that we have posted about these killings. These guys deaths should not be in vain. I find it particularly disappointing that on Nairaland home page, there is not a tribute to this patriots. The thread on their deaths is not even listed on the suggested topics of interest. If we say Nigeria is ready for change, then we should not just make their deaths like just another one. These guys should be treated as heroes, and their names should never be allowed to die. Please let's do something about them. |
The President explained that "After a thorough examination, a collective decision was taken to retain the body that had organised presidential debate since 1999 and has performed creditably well and so, no need to discard the platform and template for another."
It's very funny how the PDP leadership reasons and how so many Nigerians allow themselves to be fooled. What is this talk of a thorough examination and platform? Throughout the world, debates are organised by different media outfits within a country and presidential debates for that matter are not reserved for a specific body or unit. In fact, if the NEDG is to lay any claims to an effective debate since 2003, it would have organised at least 3 different presidential debates bringing together the front runners in a build up to the elections as is done in developed democracies around the globe but instead they will organise just one debate and expect all the issues to be addressed! And why should GEJ disregard debates organised by NN24? Are they not Nigerians? this again shows that GEJ will always play along with his friends and kee to the staus quo. Exactly what we don't want in a president. We need a courageous leader, not a coward. |
@slimghost, You may be right with Shekarau/Utomi but the question is do these guys really stand a chance of winning? I'm almost certain neither can win the election so what do we do in this situation? Contrary to your statement on witch hunting, i don't think that is the case. What Buhari said about power is what any new president would do be it Shekarau/Utomi because you can't solve the power problem without looking at what has been done before you got there. At the very least, you would not want to duplicate what has already been done but in the course of finding out this things, if you find corruption which is definitely going to be the case judging from the character of the PDP, if you are the President and as a responsible leader, will you turn a blind eye. I think in this issue, probing is only a result of solving the power problem. Probing is not the objective, it's a consequence and those to blame is the corrupt PDP and not the people doing the probe! be it Buhari/Shekarau/Ribadu because they are left with no other choice as responsible leaders. If the PDP did not "share the money in the first place, there won't be a probe. And that for me certainly will never pass as witch haunting. |
Nigerians will vote come April 9. Most registered voters may likely vote for GEJ. Will that be a wise choice? Your comments please. |
@slimghost, While Buhari may not be the eloquent type and might have his many weaknesses, change is what Nigeria still needs. I think a clueless Buhari might be better than a clueless GEJ. But is GEJ really clueless? I don't think he is in a sense. GEJ is the new face of the old PDP guard. A guard that as wasted 12 years of Nigeria's democracy. A guard that wasted over N34 trillion naira of our resources within the period. I have seen first hand how these people share the money. So GEJ is not particularly clueless, he knows how they share the money. If you are happy with the way PDP has run this country in the last ten years, then you won't advocate for a change, but if you think we need to stop a bleeding Nigeria, then a clueless Buhari might just be better than a clueless(apart from sharing the money) GEJ. |
@ boluski - Maybe you don't understand. Any Presidential debate should be seen as an avenue for the President to sell himself, it doe not matter who is organising it. It's a live broadcast and people are watching, so what is he afraid of? Don't let this people fool you. Think about this question? What really is a credible debate? Is it one where the organisers are your friends and they have chosen to invite 19 candidates and will rather pitch you against less credible candidates? The debate of the NEDG planned for the end of the month is a waste because all over the world, you organise debates and pitch the front runners against themselves, not by arranging for 19 candidates over a three day period! Secondly, debates all over the world are not done once. In the US for example, there are multiple debates organised by different organisations. For the President not to attend a debate because it was not organised by a particular group irrespective of how big the organisation is tells you the kind of person he is - he goes with the crowd even if the crowd is not effective. If we my ask, how effective is a debate that spans three days and pitches 19 candidates against themselves? how am I supposed to compare all the candidates? I think they have a plan for the NEDG debate. GEJ has disappointed a lot of people but then it's not the first time in the last couple of months |
Sometimes i just think these guys think we are fools. What does the GEJ mean by, “The Jonathan/Sambo Campaign Organisation does not believe that this relevant and credible body, made up of Nigerians and who will moderate a presidential debate watched by Nigerians on all television and radio stations nationwide should be jettisoned for any other on the eve of crucial national elections? Does it mean any other group in the country can not organise a credible debate? We are not fools, we understand GEJ. He prefers to participate in an arranged debate where he would not come face to face with the major contenders, a debate that will bring together 19 candidates! for different days in groups of maybe four such that at the end of the day, the electorate will eventually pass the debates as meaningless. By the way the so called NEDG appears to be more of a medium for the ruling party to control a sensitive area of campaigns; election debates. This goes on to show the kind of leadership to expect if GEJ becomes President. He will simply stick with the status quo. Or else, how do we explain that the incumbent President refused to participate in a credible debate because it was not organised by NEDG? Simply keeping faith with the way things are! The fact remains that we need leaders that go beyond rhetorics of not having shoes to wear to school and the likes, what Nigerians really want is a courageous leader who can stop the nonesense the PDP has subjected Nigerians to in the past 12 years. Leaders who are ready to honestly empathise with the people by ensuring that students of today actually have shoes to go to school!! |
