Episode 20

When we got to end of the street there was a lot of guys gathered around doing their stuff, I looked around to find a guy named bullet. When I was still in the streets he was my close friend, his motto was money over friends. When the guys around noticed me and thought of it to be suspicious, they came out.

Guy 1: Who goes..... Wetin you dey find?
Me: I wan follow your boss yarn one matter, you fit help me call em. "they all laughed at me as the guy came closer"
Guy 1: mama conduct yourself if you no wan collect oh, as you see me so I no get joy.
Guy 2: wetin you dey follow this small girl dey yarn, pursue her jare.
Me: I no get name for street but.... I get better job wey go bring una better money... "I quickly brought out five thousand naira from my pocket and gave to them as they took it with a big smile on their face" make una use that small change take calm down, more go come after I don reason with una boss.
Guy 1: mama you for don talk so nah.
Guy 2: Ahhh mama I dey feel you, see as you fresh like today bread, wait make we alert our O.G


Two guys went inside with the money and after few minutes the guys came out and ushered us to go in, Naomi refused to go in with me and was afraid to stay outside alone but after much arguments she decided to wait outside for me. I was escorted into a dark room, it wasn't completely dark there was a green bulb in the room, the room had no window and the smell of weed filled the Air, there was also a stench of blood. They were three guys when I went in, one was bullet the leader and two other guys who were close to him, when I got in they gave me a seat but I refused to sit.

Guy 1: babe our chair no dirty nah, you wan fall my Oga hand.
Me: I no come here to sit down, I want make una help me run one parole.
Guy 1: which is?
Me: I want una to help me kill person "when I said this, bullet raised his head and look at me, he observed without saying a word"
Guy 2: Kill who?
Me: The leader of the Aro baggers.
Guy 1: come oh.....no come price market wey you no fit pay for he who price must pay, for it is capped jonziness is a sin before the righteous. You feel me?
Guy 2: blood on the high sea as we sing the song of oja, never to hang a leg in the face of death, you take risk enter this caban, fear no catch you say we fit Shi you once you misguide?
Me: I no be sailor but...... I no be Jew girl. And I came here because I know say una fit do the job perfectly for me, if una accept em, I go pay fifty thousand deposit and settle una later when una bring me his head. I dey willing to pay more because I want him dead.

They all stared at me in surprised, when I was in the streets the amount paid to kill didn't exceed 30k, depending on whom you are assigned to kill and back then bullet and the Aro baggers weren't in good terms. Bullet who has been sitting there observing me was mesmerized by my boldness and behavior, I showed no fear for them. He decides to test me.

Bullet: "In a deep voice, he said...." Wida you? Babe announce yourself!!! "I didn't reply him as I stood there with a straight face starring at him"
Guy 1: babe you dey jonz, ID yourself before I forget my hand for your face, abi you be Jew girl?
Bullet: heheheheh..... You just dey yarn Okoto meow since I dey look you, imagine say i collect the money but decides say I no go do the job, wetin you go do then?
Me: I know say you no agree to collect work wey you no wan do.
Guy 1: omo... You think you know my boss?
Me: Odin once capped blessed are dose who practice ethics and norms of Vikings for dey shall live to see another day of tradition, either stand firm or you disembark but never you hear the cry of the vulture and disembark . I no be sailor but I know the rules of the street, I for no come here if to say I no trust you.
Bullet: Why you wan kill em?
Me: nah personal beef, you don accept the deal?
Guy 2: mami show respect before you collect oh.
Bullet: I accept the job, since you trust me even though you don't know me, I accept the game.

The guys were surprised by his attitude, normally he would lay down conditions before accepting a deal and they held their laughter when he spoke English. After that we chosed a time and place to meet after the deed has been done, we exchanged contact after which I went home. I made Naomi promise me that she won't tell a soul of it and she assured me she won't.
After that meeting I grew a bit cold in behavior, I had nightmares that of my siblings being slaughtered and the scary part was I saw an image of myself killing them with a broad smile on my face, the nightmares were frequent and more scary each time. I often had sleepless nights and when I took sleepless pills I woke up by four or five in the morning. When I was up I go out to jog in order to relieve my stress, it became a habit of mine, I once ran from 3am till dawn, I couldn't walk throughout that day and whenever I was running I felt like I was being chased by someone.

Few days after the meeting my phone rang while I was studying, I looked at the caller's ID and saw it was bullet, I picked it and he told me where to meet him. We met in the evening in an under bridge, people weren't around only the sound of moving cars and bikes was heard, when I got there I saw the leader of the Aro baggers lying on the floor tied up with blood and wounds all over his body, he took leadership after I killed the former leader, he was the man that order the Aro baggers to kill my siblings before my face.

Me: Why didn't you kill him?
Bullet: that day wey you give me the job, I reason say you get pure hatred for this guy, I no know wetin him do you but I feel e go bam if you kill em yourself.
Me: Thank you, I fit borrow your dagger?

I took his dagger and I cut the rope and was used to tie him while one of the guys shouted *you be fool?shey you want make him attack you ni?* bullet signalled him to keep quiet and watch. the guy slowly stood up, one of his eyes were swollen and red, he had a scar on his face and it was bleeding like it was reopened with a sharp object. When he stood up I signalled him to come and he charged at me, when he drew closer he poured dust into my eyes, I quickly closed my eyes and tried to clean my eyes when carried me up and hit me on the ground with force, I tried to catching my breath when he crawled to me and held my neck, I used both hands to hold his shirt and drew him closer to as I nodded him on his head, as he groan in pain and he freed me. I used my elbow to hit him on the chest, he held his chest and was coughing blood but I didn't stop as I used my leg to kick him off. Bullet and his guys stood there in shock, I stood up and went to the place where the dagger was and picked it. I turned to him and saw him trying to get up, I kicked him hard, he fell down and I stabbed him the dagger on his back, he kept coughing blood as he lay still, I removed it and stabbed him again, I continuously stabbed him until he died. My hands and clothes got sullied by his blood but I didn't bother with it since it was getting dark, I paid the guys an extra seventy thousand. They continuously hailed me till I left for home. After that day I stopped having those nightmares and I slept soundly each night. Seconds turned into minutes and minutes into hours and before long jamb form came out, Naomi came to my house one cool evening and we talked about our plans.

Naomi: urh....dad won't let me breathe, he hired two professional tutors to help me study for waec.
Me: well aren't you lucky?
Naomi: well I'm so lucky why not join me let's prepare together.
Me: I will pass, my parents had plans to hire a tutor for me but it isn't refused, I prefer self study plus I'm reading base on the syllabus. Anyway jamb form is out, what's your plan?
Naomi: I don't want to school in Nigeria!!! It is annoying enough that I had to spend six years in this stupid country, after waec I'm going to write GCE and school abroad, what about you?
Me: well..... I already bought jamb form.
Naomi: you what? Why would you want to school in this country? Their admission process is a hassle and they're many process you have to undergo, are you willing to go through such bothersome system?
Me: "I smiled and nodded in response"
Naomi: which school did you pick?
Me: Unilag.
Naomi: ah Jesus my baby needs you to help her, even if I wanted to school in Nigeria I wouldn't want to be close to my family, I might go to club and get caught by my elder sister. Anyway it's your choice so I won't say much though they're rumours that Unilag has a lot of issues but I'm sure you will survive.

Days past into months and the time to write jamb came, I actually wrote jamb before waec and I scored 312. After that I studied harder for my Waec and got 4As, 3Bs, 2cs.

Not long after that I was admitted in Unilag to study Law and my parents celebrated it with a party, my siblings came back from abroad and we celebrated it a whole as a family, I was happy and peaceful, being a freshman I decided to stay in school hostel in my first year to learn more about my new environment. I went to shopping with my mom to buy stuffs I needed for school, we bought more than enough and at the end I couldn't take everything with me, my mom transferred two hundred thousand for me in case I needed anything and my dad transferred a hundred thousand naira. When I got to Unilag school gate l felt I was in another world, the feeling of being independent excited me as I carried my luggage to the hostel, I was given a room in moremi hostel and I went in to unpack, when I got in I saw a group of girls chatting and laughing, ignored them and went to my space to unpack. When they saw I brought in with me they came over to greet me.

Girl 1: Hello....you must be a freshman, my name is Lisa, a second year student from English department, we're roommates, I hope we get along. Those girls over there are my friends. I looked and they waved at me.
Me: I thought we're supposed to be three in here?
Lisa: well.... those girls are my friends, they aren't living here, they just came to say Hi to me, the third girl is yet to come.
Me: My name is Baby, I'm a freshman.
Lisa: what course?
Me: Law.
Lisa: wow.... You are quite lucky, I like lawyers, they're brave, outspoken, standard look... Blah blah blah.

She talked non-stop while I continue unpacking, when she saw I wasn't listening she excused herself as she and her friends went out.

Lisa: Anyway will you come to the sport center today?
Me: I'm not sure.
Lisa: I hope I see you there, there are events happening there so make sure you do come.

She finally left and I was alone, I lay down to down to rest when the door opened, I looked up and saw an exotic looking lady walked in, she had an irritating look on her face as she looked around the room.

Female: Ewww....i can't believe dad wants me to stay in this disgusting room with other people, so small...so dusty looking and uncomfortable.
Me: if you are done whining can you please keep it down? I'm trying to get a sleep here.
Female: who the hell are you? "ignored her as I closed my eyes and put my arm around my forehead to cover my eyes" I'm talking to you!!!! "she dragged my arm and tried to pull me up, I opened my eyes, held her hand as I stood up I twisted it to the back and said.... *don't push your luck with me girl.*

Ultimategeneral:
Nice one. This novel could have generated a lot of traffic, but then the slow update makes it hard to follow

My bad.... I will try to make the updates more frequent.

Rebirth episode 19

When I entered the playhouse all eyes turned to me like they have been expecting me when I turned to leave I heard a female voice shout my name, I turned and saw it was Naomi, she signalled me to come and I went to her.

Me: What's up?
Naomi: nothing much, I have been here since morning anyway the guys liked your boldness last time and they are all offering for you to join their group.
Me: you make it sound beneficial.
Naomi: it is!!! Most of them are influential in school and once you join them, no one would dare oppose you.
Me: That doesn't sound bad but I will pass, I don't have time to entertain people, we have waec exam soon.
Naomi: sigh.... Right from the first day I saw you, I felt something interesting about you, anyway let's go to class.
Me: uhm.. ..well not now, let's stay here a bit longer.
Naomi: Huh? but why? I thought you were going to stay focused on your studies?
Me: the thing is that I broke Sandra's wrist.
Naomi: which Sandra? I only know of the sandra in our class and one other one is jss 2, what did the junior student do to you.
Me: I meant the Sandra in our class.
Naomi: "she shouted in a loud voice" you what!!!!
Me: Hey keep quiet! you are too loud.
Naomi: do you know Sandra's guy?
Me: is that important?
Naomi: he is the biggest thug in ss3 his name is Emeka, he is big, loud, a spoilt brat who enjoys seeing others in pain.
Me: hmmm.... a masochist I see.
Naomi: that's not funny!! Anyway you should hide here till closing time throughout your stay in school.
Me: cut the bull crap, I don't care what he is but if he comes at me, I won't be merciful I'm here because I don't want to be taken to the staff room, I hope it doesn't escalate to a point where my parents gets involves.
Naomi: don't worry, it won't it happens a lot, the teachers never bother with it.

When the bell rang for break I and Naomi decided to go out and get something to eat, this school had it's own food hall but each classes had their own table, when we got into the food hall Naomi sighted Emeka and quickly dragged me out of the hall but it was too late by then, Emeka has already seen us and he chased after us, when the crowd noticed the commotion, they all left their food and ran to the door to watch the fight. While running I turned and saw Emeka chasing after us, I stopped running and took the handle of the mop lying on the floor. When he drew close to me, he tightened his hand to give me a blow which I slightly dodge while I used the mop stick to hit him on his face, he held his face as he groan in pain by then the students gathered us as the hailed me... Ba.....by!!! Ba....by!.
I lowered my back as I used the mop stick to hit him hard on his leg, he staggered and I hit him harder which made him fell on the floor, I threw the mop aside as I sat on chest, dragged him by the collar and punched his face, I kept hitting him when I overheard some of the students.

Student 1: this girl seem skilled in fighting like she learned some Kung Fu.
Student 2: Serves him right!!! He thinks he can bully whoever he wants, he is not even ashamed to fight a girl, I like her fighting skills maybe she is a fan of WWE wrestling.
Student 3: Go Baby!!!! Teach him some good lessons.

While I was hitting his face, which was already bleeding and swollen he dragged my hair as he tried to push me away, I slowly stood up like I was backing away and used full force of my knees to hit him on stomach while the crowd went *ouuuuuu* he left my hair as he kept shaking and begging me, I stood up and used my leg and crush his hand while I said.... *I hate being dragged by my hair, next time I will make sure I break them* after that I left.
After that fighting incident, students avoided making trouble with me, school was peaceful and before long the ss3 students wrote mock exam and went on holiday. During the holiday I was always home alone with my parents always focused on work, most times I exercise or visit the gym, my mom told me to take it easy to avoid having a manly figure. Naomi do over at times while we gisted about our plans after waec. It was Thursday afternoon I was home alone when a thought came to my mind to visit Ajegunle where I used to live in my former self. While I was in deep thoughts Naomi came in and covered used her hands to cover my eyes from the back, In shock I reacted quickly, I held both hands and forceful dragged her as she hit her back on the back. She cried while coughing, the maid hurried to us.

Maid: what was that sound?
Naomi *coughs* I think Baby wants to kill me for playing with her.
Me: I'm sorry, you startled me and I quickly reacted without thinking.
Naomi: Remind me not to play with you in the future and how the Bleep do you have such strength.
Me: hehhehehehe.... I'm sorry "I helped her up as she slowly sat on the sofa while the maid went back to her post."
Naomi: what were you thinking that made you almost kill me?
Me: sorry about that but there's a place I wish to visit.
Naomi: Really? Let's go aren't you bored of being home all day?
Me: well it isn't a fancy place.
Naomi: doesn't matter let's just go out.

I got dressed and we went out, when we got to Ajegunle everywhere was hot and rowdy. I noticed some boys who were making their moves along the crowd.

Me: Naomi hold your bag tight
Naomi: Uhm... Okay?

While we walked a guy came behind us and slowly opened her bag without her knowledge, he slowly brought out her phone and I quickly caught his hand, he brought out a dagger he kept in his pocket with the other hand and tried to stab me, I slightly dodged and the dagger gave me a little cut on my face as I drew him closer and used to knees to hit him on his stomach, the dagger fell and I told Naomi to pick it up for me, I used the head of the dagger to him on his face. His nose was bleeding, I punched him on the face, he fell down and ran off while the crowd hailed me. After that we went to street where I use to stay, it was quiet as usual with boys indoor watching every movement made in that street, Naomi held my hand as we walked, she had this frightened look on her face.

Naomi: Baby where are we heading to?
Me: what's wrong? I thought you were okay coming with me as long as we weren't sitting at home?
Naomi: I don't like this place!!
Me: don't worry, we will leave soon, I just want to check out something.
Naomi: Just what in the world are you looking for in such a place?
Me: that's enough talking now.

While walking along the street we noticed a group of guys ahead, they were smoking and drinking different types of liquor with a sound mp playing olamide's song. When we got closer I recognized their faces, they were the Aro baggers who slaughtered my siblings before my eyes, I stood still staring at them while tears flow down my cheeks, Naomi held my hand and asked.... *what's wrong? Why are you crying, if you are scared we can turn back.* I cleaned my eyes and walked past them as I replied her *I'm fine, let's go we're almost there, I just want to visit an old friend.*

After the first period of class, I brought out my pencil and began to sharpen it when a group of guys came in, they went to a guy on the second roll, the guy had his head down like he was trying avoid them and a hand touched his shoulder.

Guy 1: Hey Josh....are you trying to avoid us?
Josh: no.... no...my pen fell on the floor.
Guy 1: Is that so? no problem, we're bored, how about you come entertain us a bit.
Josh: well.....uhm...i have an assignment to submit.. *"before he could finish his statement, the guy slammed his head on the desk and all eyes turned to them, I also averted my eyes from the scene as I focused on my pencil"*
Guy 1: I didn't ask for your opinion, just follow us.
Guy 2: Oh man...you hit him too hard and now he is crying.

I looked up and saw Josh crying while the guys laugh at him, I looked around but the students were moved neither did they intervene they all went minding their businesses, it seems like it was a normal thing, while my eyes were accessing everywhere, my eyes met with one of guys eyes briefly as I quickly looked away.

Guy 2: Woah.....who is this pretty girl? never seen her before. *"a female voice replied......".*
Girl 1: she is new. *"she was sitting in the front roll"*
Guy 2: Hey guys come check this cutie *"he approached me while I brought out my mathset, I opened it and kept the pencil back and brought out another one and began to sharpen it"*
Guy 1: huh? What girl? *"he followed and they stood in front of me, they were four tall guys with good looks but they wore their uniforms like delinquents, this school was less strict than victory high school"* Is she a newbie?
Guy 2: so I heard.
Guy 1: Hey girl, what's your name?
Me:.. ...

I ignored them as I concentrated on my pencil, from the looks of the students I could tell they were expecting some actions, the guy in glasses ignored while he focused on his note, I thought to myself *"what kind of school is this? even the self righteous four eyes who I encountered before won't even intervene".* I was brought back to reality when one of the guys spoke loud.

Guy 1: Hey.... are you listening? what's your name?
Me:.....
Guy 2: she is probably shy. Let's leave her for now.
Guy 1: shut up, don't play the good guy here. (they laughed as they turned to me). So what's your name newbie?
Me: Baby.
Guy 2: Hohohoho.... Is that your real name? Are you a baby?
Guy 1: more like a big baby (everyone laughed while I kept a straight face, I thought to myself *"ah here we go, students from my previous school didn't criticize or bother with my name, why now? though I also hate the name but I didn't think it would come to this".*)

Their laughter pissed me off and I stood up and walked out of class, while I was walking along the corridor someone shouted my name..... *"Baby"* I turned and saw a girl running towards me. When she got to me she held her knees while she tried to catch on her breath.

Girl: mehn.... you walk pretty fast.
Me: who're you?
Girl: oh my bad, my name is Naomi, we're classmates but you probably don't know since you are new, you were pretty brave when you stood up, I thought you was going to chicken out, anyway if they ever bully you report it to a teacher okay. They're big, stupid bullies who pick on the weak but don't worry as long as you don't cross paths with them again you safe.

She spoke fast while her hands moved along, I couldn't comprehend what she was saying so I nodded and turned back and walked away when she held my hand.

Naomi: Wait up, where are you heading to?
Me: What does it matter to you?
Naomi: chill girl, I was hoping we could be friends, so let's go together, class is boring we're having mostly revisions for the waec exam, let's go to the play house.
Me: huh? A play house? The school has not closed yet, are you allowed to leave school by this time? *"she laughed out loud holding her tummy.
Naomi: sorry..... I'm sorry for laughing it's just that you are funny, a play house as the name indicates is a place for fun and we have one here in school, come with me let's go.

She held my hand and took me to the last room of that building,it was a very big and spacious hall and it was populated by senior students, they had various games like checkers, card game, ludo and others.

Naomi: Welcome to the game house, you can play any game you wish to but you have to gamble with money or something valuable.
Me: Is the principal aware of this place?
Naomi: Lol yes but not the activities that goes on here, we have someone outside who gives us info when the teacher or principal is coming heheheheh...... Now let me show you the other rooms.
Me: other rooms?
Naomi : I thought you were observant, come with me.

She took me to the extreme end of the Hall where we found a door, she opened it and we went in, they were students paired in different groups arguing about various topics school related like religion, politics, psychology. I was mesmerized by their accents and fluent english as I stood there staring at them, I admire the bold speech made by a female student concerning religion while she was still talking, a male student interrupted her and said in a loud voice *"God exists, I don't know where these dumb atheist come from, without God how can you survive?"* I was angered by his words and Interrupted him while I slowly walked to them.

Me: God exists? People can't survive without him? "everyone turned to me as the boy asked... *who are you?*"
Me: can you explain why your God failed to provide for the poor and needy? Even when they reckon on others for help, they're silenced by the society and when they make the most difficult decisions to survive, they're scorned and cursed by the same people who refuse to help them. Tell me why your God watch family fall apart without intervening, where is your God when innocent lives are slaughtered and wasted everyday? The tears of helpless ones doesn't gets to him? If you really knowledgeable in religion then you know the different religions ranging from Christianity to Taoism, do you think they all worship one God? If yes why are their belief different? They're ritualist out there who got their wealth from people's lives, why have your God failed to erase them? If you can't answer this basic questions then you shouldn't open your mouth and spout nonsense.

Everyone stared at me without saying a word, other people in the room also listened, Naomi held my hand took me out of the room.

Naomi: you shouldn't have opposed him since it's your first day, it wouldn't be a good idea to make enemies on your first day.
Me: so you allow the dumb ones rant and believe they have said something smart, kids who never experienced life just say whatever they want.
Naomi: Lol calm down, don't get emotional and talk like my nanny. Anyways come along and I will show you around.
Me: maybe some other time, I want to go back to class.
Naomi: Alright let's go.

After school, my driver took me Home, everything went smoothly at home and the next morning I woke up late, before I could bathe and dress up for school it was 8:20, when I got to school I saw some of classmates at the gate sharing work to the junior students, I felt at ease since I was in ss3 when I got inside and was heading to class, I heard a female voice shout *stop there late comer* I turned and saw it was the female I almost fought when I nearly got hit by their school bus. I ignored her and went to class not knowing she followed me. When I got to my seat and sat down, someone bang on my table which attracted the stares of students, I looked up and saw an angry female in front of me, she was accompanied by a male and female student.

Me: What is it?
Female: You came late so go outside, you are going to work in the field with the junior students. "I burst into laughter*
Me: I never knew you are one of the motivational speakers we have. There were others who came late and you let them go, even a junior student and yet you expect to do as you say.
Female: you have five seconds to stand up from there or else....
I interrupted her and say *or else what? Girl move away from my locker, I hate noisy people* the students around hyped me which annoyed her further.

Student 1: ouuuuuu...... the newbie has guts, I look forward to this fight.
Student 2: me too, girls fight are the best
Student 3: Ouuu... the newbie might beat Sandra.

She held my hand and tried to draw me up but I didn't move as I used my other hand and hold her, I continued twisting her ankle as she screamed, the other two students with her shouted at me to let go off her but I ignored and continued twisting it while she cried and I finally pushed her, she fell on the floor crying without moving. I stood up and left the class before the teacher comes in to avoid being taken to the staff room. I went to the playhouse to rest my head, when I got there I saw a crowd of students waiting for me.

Don't worry I will finish it , although you might not know it but while updating I'm writing other stories but I will post when I'm done with this one.

I have been following the story from the beginning and one thing I wonder about is that baby s a magnet for trouble anywhere she goes trouble automatically follows her. expelled from one school only to go to another and instantly see that the new class is filled with people she have met and been rude to before and yet she has promised her mom not to be a cause trouble as my people will say. hmm let's wait and see how she will escape the trap. meanwhile @op thanks for the update we dey follow bumper to bumper

Two guys hurried to the rooftop while the other guy went to call the rest, Edwin panicked as he dialed baby's number, she didn't pick he dialed it several times but she didn't pick and he went to class.
The two guys went to the rooftop and saw Sam and Daniel lying on the ground when they rushed to them, baby rushed out of hiding and hit the first guy on his face, she didn't stop as she kept hitting him until he was down, his nose was bleeding and bruised, he couldn't get up because she hit him hard on his leg, the other guy turned to her.

Guy 2: Were you the one that did this?
Baby: beautiful art, isn't it?
Guy 2: you!!!! you are the girl from that time.
Baby: you are quite a talkative, aren't you? *"I signalled him to come, he rushed towards as he tightly closed his palm".*

As he came closer I raised the golf bat to hit him but he held it back and used held my neck with his other hand, I used my knee and hit his tummy and he stepped back, I brought out the phone on my pocket and hit his face as he held his face in pain, I picked the bat and hit him on his face but his hands protected his face, I used the bat to hit him on his tummy as he slowly fell on the floor with his hands on my stomach. I turned as I said... *"where's the third one?"*. you still look okay, wait let me help you with that, I hit him some more as he was bleeding. I reach out my phone to call Edwin when i heard a voice say..... *"Where are they? ",* I turned to see three guys, they were among the guys from earlier sitting in the stairs.

Guy 1: what the hell happened here? Where are the guys?
Me: Oh you guys finally showed up!!! Care to join the party.....as I thought to myself *"I didn't expect three more, I'm exhausted on taking all three of them at once, goddammit it I have really become weak, if I survive this, I'm going to train as hard as hell"*
Guy 2: Baby what are you doing here?
Me: my my....you recall the girl you played prank on Huh? this is just my way of thanking you guys.

I swinged the golf bat as he came close, I held the bat with both hands as I hit him on the head with force and he fell down, he got injured but I didn't stop as I kept hitting him, the other two guys rushed me. I used my elbow to hit the first on his face and used the head of the bat to hit his balls, he held his d**k as he slowly moved away, before I could turn to the other guy he gave me a blow on my face and I fell down, he dragged me by my hair and hit me twice on my face, my face was red and with marks from the trace of his hands while my nose was bleeding, he grabbed my hair again as I tightened my teeth, i used head to hit him on the face, he left my hair and held his face, as I crawled to pick the bat, he held my legs and drew me back, I forcefully hit his legs, he reacted as he bent one of knees to avoid him from falling, as he bent down I use my leg to hit him on the face as we struggled we heard a voice.... *"That's enough"* I turned to see a group of teachers rushing towards us as they separated us, there were also students behind them staring at us, as they all spoke at once as I slowly closed my eyes. I woke up and saw myself in a bed, I looked around and noticed I was in the health clinic, it took a moment before I felt pains all over my body, i felt a terrible headache and a sharp pain around my waist, I held my head as I slowly stood up, the nurses and the students around me stared at me as they murmured, I overheard two nurses at my back gossiping.

Nurse 1: Are you sure that it's her?How can a young girl beat six guys on her own?
Nurse 2: you should have seen the condition of the male students, most of them were badly injured.
Nurse 1: And the school just ignored the incident? Who knows if she isn't possessed!!!
Nurse 2: I think the board are still deciding on her case.

While they were still talking, a loud voice was heard, they all turned to see an over dressed woman shouting "*where is she!! Where is the girl?? I won't accept this".* while the nurses tried to hold her back she kept shouting, in few minutes there were other parents with her I soon figure they were after me as they stared at me with contempt. I wasn't remorse of my actions but I thought of my parents, while I was still thinking I heard a familiar voice shout my name as I turned to look I prayed within me that it wasn't my parents, I saw my mom with an angry face, the nurses tried to hold her back but she told them that she was my mom before she was allowed in, when the other parents heard she was my mom they rained abuses at her especially the women.

Woman 1: who would have thought the famous lawyer is the mom of this vicious girl, you try to justify other's cases but you can't give your child a proper training she will never get married!!
Woman 2: so vicious to the point of beating the boys in such conditions, why!! *"she cried as she spoke"* my son is unconscious and she is sitting comfortably on the bed, I won't spare you, I won't forgive you!!
Man 1: With this attitude you won't be able to stay in a man's house, but I assure you something, if anything happens to my son, I will make sure you spend the rest of your life in jail.

I stared at them without blinking my eyes, I wasn't moved by their tears or words but I was worried that my mom was there while it happened, my mom had her head down as she sat beside me, I later learnt that my mom prevented the police from taking me away, when I tried to speak she slapped me twice on my face.

Mom: I don't want to hear your voice, just sit still and keep your mouth shut!
Woman 1: oh now you are trying to act righteous before us when you never gave her a proper training, because of your foolishness my son is injured and in pain!! I won't let this go.

While they were still talking some security men came and told all the parents to move to the conference room, I was also taken to the conference room. When I got there I saw the teachers sitting at left while the parents of the injured boys sat at the right, my mom was standing I wanted to ask her to sit but I couldn't say it as I felt ashamed of myself, the principal came in and the meeting began.

Principal: Good afternoon everyone, we all know the incident that happened this morning although we're not sure how it all started but the result was terrible, among the injured, one is unconscious but the doctor assured us he will regain consciousness soon, another's is badly injured in his legs the doctor told us he will use clutches for a while, two were badly injured in their faces while the rest had injuries in their body. Baby were you the one that injured them all?
Baby: Yes.
Woman 1: ohhh....this girl is a vicious girl, she doesn't looks remorseful for her actions, why are we still having this meeting??
Principal: please calm down ma'am.
Woman 1: you expect me to calm down when my son is still unconscious, instead of putting her jail.
Principal: first of all, she is too young to go to jail, secondly.... *"before he could speak, she cut him half way"*
Woman 1: But she's not too young to harm the students of this school?
Principal: if you would call down and allow me talk. Mrs Sarah, do you have anything to say? *"Sarah is my mom's name"*
Mom: I'm truly ashamed for my daughter's behavior, there are no words to express how sorry I am, I promise to pay for their bills and every other necessity they need to get well......
Woman 1: you think money is everything?
Mom: No it's not, I understand your pain, please forgive my daughter.
Principal: Even though you volunteered to pay their hospital bills, we can't allow baby to continue schooling here, she is a threat to other students, we don't know what she will do again when offended by her other students..
Mom: Alright if you say so.

I was expelled and my mom lost face before everyone because of me, she drove us home where dad was waiting for us, when we got home my dad asked for details as my mom kept quiet, I tried to apologize to my mom but she slapped me twice.

Mom: I don't want to hear your voice, you're a selfish fool, I regret giving birth to a girl like you *"she said coldly as her cold gaze made me speechless", * people often rejoice when they give birth but I wish I had mourn and killed you.
Dad: That's enough!!! No matter what she did, it doesn't warrant this.
Mom: you should have died when you got into that accident.
Dad: I said enough!!! *"he slapped her on her face"* that is enough!!!
Mom: Huh?? Hahahahhah....... Baby are you happy now? Isn't this what you wanted?
Baby: mom.... I'm sorry.
Mom: I don't want to hear your voice, go to your room and don't you ever come out unless when called.

I went up stairs and shut the door, even when the door was locked I could still hear my parents arguing about my case, I silently prayed in my heart that they won't fight, I lay still on the bed staring at the ceiling fan, I stood up, went and sat in front of my mirror and stared at myself, my face was bruised and my head was wrapped round with bandages. I thought of my life so far....... *"even though my situation has changed, I didn't change, maybe if I had listened to Stella, my mom wouldn't have been humiliated, sigh.....from now on I will try my best to please my parents and make up for my mistakes, I wonder if I will be allowed to go to school again, will other schools accept me?"* I stood up and went to my bed and lay down after some minutes I slept off.
Days went by as I hardly saw my mom, my dad do check on me at times but he never said a word when he came, I was indoor all day, the maid brought my food in my room, I was made to study from 8am in the morning to 4pm while the maid watched over me, no one evaluated me, I asked my dad to hire a tutor for me but he just smiled without saying a word. It was 6:40am in the morning on Monday while I was still sleeping someone hit me, I slowly opened my sleepy eyes and saw my mom standing in front of my bed, I jumped up8s �and greeted her.

Me: Good....good morning ma.
Mom: go take your bath and dress up, I will be waiting for you in the car.
Me: Uhm mom.......I'm sorry for offending you please don't send me away.
Mom: what nonsense are you spouting? I'm sending you to school so hurry up, I don't want to be late for work.
Me: okay ma.

I was surprised and happy at the same time as I hurried to the bathroom, after some minutes I was ready, I went to the car and my mom drove off, it was an awkward situation since it was too quiet, normally my mom would be the one nagging me with questions about school, I knew I had screwed up big time and had to make amends. We got to the school gate and a man opened the gate as we drove in, the environment was quite different, the population of students were much and they were different buildings, as we came out I came across students who wore different uniforms, I thought they were different schools in one place, when we got into the building we were welcomed by a cool A.C and a pleasant scent which filled the building, it was a beautiful atmosphere as we were directed to sit and wait for someone to attend to us.

Mom: Baby, just so you know, it was difficult getting you in, though they still have to evaluate you.
Me: Okay ma.
Mom: an old friend of mine works here, she is the vice principal, she was the one that volunteered to help me so don't screw this up, if you fight with anyone here, I won't spare you!!! Got that?
Me: Yes ma.

While we were still talking, a lady walked up to us, when my mom saw her, she quickly brightened up as they greeted one another.

Mom: Morning Bella, you look dashing in this outfit.
Bella: A lovely morning to you Sarah, you look pretty as ever I knew you were the one causing the commotion around here, you just confused the male teachers with your looks.....heheheh
Mom: God have mercy I'm getting old, don't flatter me. Anyway this is my child... *"she pointed at me as I quickly stood up and greeted the lady".*
Bella: Good morning baby, I see you got your mom's looks.
Me: Thank you ma.

After the greetings she took us to the principal's office and I was registered, I was measured and given my school uniform and other materials, my mom urge them that I stay for today's class, I was taken to class by a male when we got to class the students were properly sitted when we entered all eyes turned to me, the teacher introduced me and ushered me to take a seat, I took an empty seat in the back.

Teacher: there are empty seats in the front.
Me: I'm fine here.
Student 1: Ouuu the newbie is a bit stubborn..
Student 2: let it slide, she is yet to be blended.
While they were talking a guy in glasses told them to quiet down and they complied, I turned and quickly recognized him to be the guy who spoke rudely to me while I was going home, he was among the students in the bus that nearly hit me while I was spaced out, I hoped he doesn't recognize me since I did promise my mom to avoid trouble here.

Episode 16

Everything was set in motion, I didn't really bother about the consequences, I was obsessed with getting revenge by all means. While I was lost thinking how to corner all of them at once Stella tapped my shoulder.

Me : you are back?
Stella: actually it seems the fighting incident between you and Becky was reported and you are summoned to the staff room.
Me: were you able to find the guys?
Stella: Are you even listening to me?
Me: they probably want to nag me about the incident, we proceed with the plan, or are you too scared?
Stella: I'm worried about you!!! You can't just do as you please and expect the school authority to turn a blind eye to your act.
Me: Oh so you are going to lecture me now?
Stella: let's just stop, you are at risk of being suspended.
Me: *"I just stared her without showing remorse"* if you are not going to help me then I'm fine with it, I never had my hopes on you, just go to class you are an eyesore by standing here.
Stella: but.......if you come with me and explain the incident to the teacher, I'm sure the guys will be punished for their crime.
Me: *"I smirked and moved closer to her"* my my.......you are quite the drama queen, saying bullshit like I'm supposed to listen to you or perhaps you need my sympathy? *"I harshly pushed her and she fell on the floor as I said."* go to class!!!

She stood up with a sobered look, dusted the dirt on her uniform and went to class while I went to the junior block. I avoided the teachers as I dragged four eyes out of class to the senior block, I took him to ss3 class to show me the guys. He was shaking on the way there while begging me I ignored him as we climbed the stairs, Ss3 class was the last floor at the top of the building. While we were climbing the stairs we heard some voices as I ignored and head on when four eyes held my shirt and signalled me to look up, I saw seven guys in the upper stair, four of which were focused in a video game they were playing while one had ear piece on his ear, while two others seem to be watching a movie. I turned my eyes to see four eyes shaking as he whispered *"It's them, they're the ones,".* I gave him a *"I don't get you look"*, they didn't notice our presence since they were really focused in their phones and we were in the lower stair. He came closer as he whispered....

Four eyes: the four guys playing a video game together were the ones that made me call you to the conference room.
*"I fixed my eyes on them as they argued amongst themselves, I smirked as I left with four eyes to the rooftop, we took a different route to the rooftop to avoid them".*
Me: Well you have been useful so far but I'm not done with you.
Four eyes: but..... what else am I supposed to do?
Me: calm down and listen four eyes! I'm going to use the same tactic they used against me, all you have to do is call them out for me.
Four eyes: my name is Edwin
Me: I careless about your name, we need to separate them, do you know anything about them? Like their girlfriends or so?
Edwin(four eyes) : Uhm...but why?
Me: Just answer the question!!
Edwin(four eyes) : well I haven't seen them with a particular group of girls, they are always changing the girls that keep them company but one thing for sure is that they womanize a lot.
Me: Alright I got an idea.

In school, there is this popular girl who was newly admitted she is called princess, her parents are big shots. She is in ss2 one of those guys were on her tail for long but she even refused to speak with him, his name is Sam.

Me: Go call Sam, tell him that princess wants to speak with him on the rooftop, and she brought her friend along.
Edwin(four eyes): What?
Me: just do as you are told! don't question me, being called by one of his crushes in school would make him hurry to see and when he hears that she came with a friend, he would come up with someone and that's exactly what I want, now go.

Edwin went to the guys as soon as they saw him they signalled him to come, as the hailed him.

Guy 1: hey four eyes, come Here!
Sam: glasses boy what are you standing there for? Hahahahhah....
Guy 2: but mehn.... that girl is a piece of work even when we drugged her, she was still trying to struggle, I wonder what happened after that.
Sam: four eyes have you seen her in school today?
Four eyes: (he was sweating as he thought to himself *"if I told them the truth they might grow suspicious"* ) no... no I haven't seen her today.
Guy 3: But you guys were reckless, we also got caught!
Guy 1: but we were not caught! we're we? so calm your balls down, this pictures are going to help us a long.... way (they all laughed while four eyes kept his face down).
Guy 2: four eyes you helped us pull the plan through so we will let you get a glance of it, check this out
Four eyes: no.... I'm fine, you don't have to show me.
Guy 1: get your virgin ass here and see God's gift.

He moved closer as they gave him the phone, he saw a picture of baby's nude, he kept staring at it with saying a word.

Guy 1: Virgin boy is hard. *"they all laughed as he took the phone from edwin"*
Edwin(four eyes): Uhm... Senior Sam, princess told me to call you. *"they stopped laughing as Sam turned to him"*
Sam: What? She did?
Edwin(four eyes): yes, she is with a friend of hers at the rooftop waiting for you.
Guy 1: well let's go!!!
Sam: you and who? did she call you? Guy park one side jor!! Daniel please come with me so you can keep her friend busy.
Daniel: Alright.
Sam: four eyes you can go back to class.
Edwin: Okay *"I walked away to the direction of the junior block but quickly enter the rest room and called baby to inform her that they were coming"*.

I received his call and waited behind the door for them, when they climbed up the rooftop, I hid behind the door with a golf bat when they entered I quickly came out as I hit Sam on the neck, he fell on the ground shaking with his hand on his neck, Daniel quickly turned as I hit him on his face, he held his face and screamed *"Arrghh...my face my face"*, I ignored him as I hit his legs he fell down as he opened his eyes.

Me: Hey boys, what's up?
Daniel: You!!!!!
Me: calm down I'm not done yet.

I went and picked both phones as I turned to ask password, Daniel was standing in front of me, he punched me in the face and I fell down as my nose was bleeding. He dragged me by my hair and I used my elbow to hit him on the face, he held my hand and gave me a blow on my tummy, I fell down as I held my stomach, he ran to check on Sam who was still shaking, I crawled to the place where the bat fell and picked it, as he turned to me.

Daniel: crazy bitch maybe I should kill you.
Me: Ahh...you spoke my mind, I don't even need the password anymore, I'm just going to break the phones *"I hit the screen of the phones on the ground and stepped on it as it made sound of broke glasses"*
Daniel: stop it!! *"he rushed In my direction as I stood with a smirk on my face when he drew close I quickly knelt down and hit him hard on his legs again, he fell down sweating as he held his legs, I stood up and hit him again on his head and he passed out. I walked up to the place where Sam lay holding his neck as he was breathing fast, when he saw me and tears ran down his cheeks. I bent down with the golf bat in my hand.

Sam: pl....please....please forgive me, we were told to do so.
Me: oh so even men do cry, that's beautiful maybe I should hit you more until you die don't worry I will take it slowly.
Sam: *"this time he shouted in a loud voice"* please stop it!
Me: you said you were sent right? Who sent you?
Sam:....
Me: eh.....not saying anything?

I stood up and kicked his stomach, I didn't stop as I kicked his face when he tried to protect his face with his hands I took the bat and hit his hand as he cried, he was bruised in a lot of places including his face. I raised the golf bat up to hit him again when he screamed....

Me: sigh.....this is boring. *"I left him there,i took out my phone and called Edwin(four eyes)".*
Edwin: hello.
Me: check out the others right now and get back to me, don't cut the call, quickly do so I will be waiting for your response.
*"Edwin quietly walked close to the place where the guys were and saw three guys eating snacks, one clogged his ear with headphone as he nodded to the beats, he quietly left there and went to a quiet place and called baby"*
Me: what's the situation?
Edwin: There are three guys there, two of which are among the guys that harassed you, but there's one other guy with them.
Me: interesting!!
Edwin: Huh?
Me: I want you to call all three of them.
Edwin: are you crazy!!
Me: shut the hell up and listen! I want you to approach them and tell them that sam is in some kind of trouble and he needs their help.
Edwin: but.....but.
Me: you have got five minutes, don't make me come for you *"I said in a cold voice that scared him"*

Edwin hurried to them where they sat in the stair, when he got there he held his knees as he was breathing fast, he got their attention as one of them removed his headphone.
Guy 1: four eyes what's wrong? why are you sweating like a run away chicken? *"they all laughed as they made jest of him"*
Edwin: Sam told me to call you guys, he got into a fight with a guy In the rooftop and he asked that I call you guys to help him out.
Guy 3: huh Some guy dare fight Sam? Who is the guy?
Edwin: I don't know him but he was with his friends.
Guy 2: then let's go teach those guys a lesson.
Guy 1: you both go, I will be there soon, let me inform Steve and Michael.
Edwin: Uhm... Senior wouldn't it be better if you all go, I will go call them myself.
Guy 1: nah...you tried, you can go back to class we will take it from here.

Rebirth episode 15

The junior student was in jss 1, he wore big glasses and was nicknamed four eyes. I found him in class reading, I told one of the junior students to call him out for me, when the junior student pointed at me, four eyes quickly looked away, he panicked as he hurriedly pack his books, the classroom had two doors and he headed for the other door, I ran after him and before he could get to the door step I grabbed his shoulder, he wouldn't stop shaking as his hand kept adjusting his glasses.

Me : May I have a word with you?
Four eyes : Uhm... Erm... I.. I'm being called by a teacher.
Me: *"With a broad smile on my face I said"* don't worry I won't take much of your time.
Four eyes : But.. but the teacher....
Me : don't worry!!! *"i patted his back as we walked"*

I took him to the rooftop, when we got there I slapped him and he fell down on the ground, his glasses fell down when I slapped him he began looking for it, he used his hand in searching for it because he had a blurry vision.

Me : Heyyy.... I don't have all the time in the world to watch your clown show so answer me quickly before I give you a black eye. Who sent you yesterday to come call me out?
Four eyes : *"he sobered"* I'm sorry but I can't tell you.
Me : *"I glared at him"* and why is that?
Four eyes : they threatened to beat me up if I did.
Me: oh really!!? You are scared of being beaten by them huh? Then you won't mind if I slowly break your fingers, I could stab you a couple of times in that that same hand, or perhaps fracture your bones..
Four eyes : you......you... are kidding right *"He was sweating with a scared expression"*
Me : I kept my gaze fixed on him as I spoke"* Let's give him a trial then.
I took his arm twisted it to his back, separated his pinky from the rest of his finger as he screamed *"Please let go... Please I will tell you whatever you ask, tears run down his cheeks as he screamed"* I freed his arm as he fell on the floor holding his hand.

Me: Alright tell me what i need to know about them.
Four eyes : When I was in class studying, they called me out and showed me a picture of you in one of their phones, they told me to bring you to the conference room, at first I was reluctant to but threatened to make my life a living hell and all I want to do is study and get into a proper university....
Me : I'm the least person that cares about your plan, give me more details about me before I lose it.
Four eyes : they're four guys, three of them are in ss3, while one is in ss2. I wouldn't advise you to approach you irrespective of their nasty prank.
Me: shut up.
Four eyes : sorry... I'm sorry.
Me : good boy..... Now take me to them.
Four eyes : I can't!!! Please don't let me do that, please...
Me: sigh you are pretty annoying, how am I supposed to know Them!?!
Four : The ones in ss3 are name Simon, Ben and Obinna, the one in ss2 is called Christian.
Me : Go back, I will call you when i need you, if you dare hide, I will find you and torment you even more.
Four eyes : ye ye yessa....... *"He ran back to class".*
Stella: so what's the next plan?
Me : Go to class!
Stella huhhhhh?
Me : It is my fight, you can go back, you are of no use to me.
Stella : Enough with the bullshit, no matter how strong you are, you can't take those guys on your own, let me help you
Me : Go back, you will end up getting hurt if you involve yourself.
Stella : I don't care, I won't leave a friend in need. *"Baby felt a warm relief in her heart as she thought (No one has really seen me as a friend until now)"*

While I was in the middle of the road still spaced out thinking of an excuse to tell my parents for going home early, I heard the sound of a bus as the driver pulled the final brake, I casually turned to see a school bus three meter from me, I couldn't react as I stood there staring at it and then I heard a voice shout *Hey..... are you blind?*, my eyes traced the sound of the voice to a girl who was coming down from the school bus, other senior students followed.

Girl 1: if you want to commit suicide I don't mind but don't implicate the driver.
Guy 1: and where the hell is she going dressed In her school attire? *When he asked, I ignored them and continued crossing the road when I heard a male's voice *"Hey wait up"* I turned to see a male student in glasses approaching.

Glasses guy: Are you schooling in victory high school?
Me:.......
Glasses guy: I'm curious since you look and act dense, how long have you been there? You are not looking bad so did you perhaps use your body for marks? Or perhaps your parents bribed the teachers to keep you there even though you aren't smart?
Me: *"in a cold voice I said"* you are pretty noisy four eyes, if you're done ranting I will be on my way, I don't have time to noisy flies.

I removed my bag from my back and opened it while they stood there watching me, I checked for any sharp objects, I found Biro and Mathset. I opened the mathset, assessed the instrument in it and I picked the compass (drawing tool) at first but later on I took all the sharp objects in it and kept the mathset back inside my bag while they stood there watching me.

Guy 1: is this girl normal? What is she doing?
Guy 2: let's go already, we have wasted enough time here
Girl 1: not yet, I'm curious of what she plans to do with the mathset instruments.
Glasses guy: enough!! Let's go the driver is waiting *"The guy holding my shirt let go and they head back"*
Me: sigh... Well I'm too tired so I will head home.

When I got home, I showered and head to bed to sleep, the drug was affecting me so I lay down to calm myself. I was woken up by a continuous knock at my door, I opened my eyes and checked the time, it was 8:15pm I freeze for some seconds before I jumped down from my bed and opened the door. I saw my mom standing in front of the door with a worried look on her face.

Mom: Baby what happened? Why did you lock yourself? And why did you come home early?
Me: erm... Well... Uhm I...i was sleeping. I thought to myself *"oh Bleep I screwed up, I can't even answer her straight, why is it so difficult to lie?? Have I grown soft!!"*
Mom : your home teacher called me and explained that you left school before closing period, why is that?
Me I thought to myself *"ah jeez!!! Here it is I can't feign to be sick it will only raise her suspicion since the school has it's own health clinic"* well I wasn't feeling well.
Mom: but the school nurse.... *"before she could finish her statement, I cut in"*
Me : I'm not sick, I just need a break I'm sorry if I got you worried I won't do it again.
Mom: no worries come down for dinner okay.
Me: Okay.

After she left I breathe a sigh of relief as I thought of today's event *"sigh I can't believe I had sex in school and with that jerk, I will deal with him later first!!!! I need to take care of those guys who played Me!! Sigh I feel like smoking but then again I don't think this fragile body can do much though my trainings are showing impact but I need to go full mode".*
After some minutes baby went down to have her dinner, after which she stayed up to study and slept by 11:20.

I ignored rumors as I went on with my normal school routine, Stella was the only one whom I vibe with in school, she assisted me with my notes and homework. On Friday we always closed early, while I was heading out of class, three guys came up to me I could see the fright in the student's faces when they saw them.

Guy : hey....walk with us a bit
Me : you are?
Guy 1 : that's not important just walk with us.
Me : what's with the attitude? Are you dumb or stupid?
Guy 2 : Heyyy.... *He made a move to hit me but was held back by the other guy, he stared at me with contemt as he withdrew back*.
Guy 1 : You are angel right? You should chose your words carefully, my buddy is short tempered, he could injure you without bothering about your gender, just come with us and you will understand everything when we get there.
Me : sigh... (in a low tone) The students in this school amuse me a lot. *i looked at the second guy who tried to hit me* most of the students are carrying empty shell with no brain, doing what you want when you please. You just walked up to me and expect me to follow you even though this is our first meeting.

I looked down with my hand on my face, I smiled as I tried to control myself from doing something crazy, I decided to walk away to avoid trouble while going someone held one of my hands, I turned to see the first guy holding my hand, his grip were tight, making it difficult to break away from his grip I struggled with him but it was all in vain, it was difficult to do anything with this body because it was fragile unlike my previous body. I took the pen inside my pocket, removed it's cover with my teeth and stabbed him on his hand, he shouted in pain as he let go of my hand.

Guy 2 : stupid bitch, wanna Die?
Guy 1 : let's go to the school nurse you are bleeding
Guy 2 : not until I'm through with this fool
Guy 3 : we will take it from here

While they were still talking I made a move to walk away but was stopped by the second guy as he stood in front of me.

Me : will you move out of the way or do you want me to do something about you too? *While I was still talking, the first guy who was injured rushed me and gave me a blow on my face, I violently hit my head on the wall, he didn't stop as he came and dragged my collar, he made an attempt to hit me again when we heard a voice..... "stop it, why are you fighting?".
I was feeling dizzy because I hit my head pretty hard back then, my left cheek was red from the slap, it hurt pretty bad since it was the first time I got hit in this body, I traced my eyes to where the voice was coming from and saw teacher Sarah rushing in my direction, I closed my eyes in relief as the guy left my collar.

Teacher Sarah : Ken, why were you hitting a lady? Don't you know only an animal would act so violently, you three should go wait for me in my office *they silently walked away as teacher Sarah took me to the school nurse*.
Teacher Sarah : are you okay? Do you feel pains anywhere?
Me : no ma, I'm fine.
Teacher Sarah : how long have they been bullying you? Explain the situation so I can know how to handle the situation.
Me : it isn't that much of a big deal so don't worry.
Teacher : *in a loud voice she said "what is wrong with you? were you threatened not to say a word? If so then you don't have to be scared just tell what happened.
The school nurse wrapped a bandage around my head and gave me some drugs while the conversation was on going, I stood up when she was done wrapping the bandage and faced teacher Sarah.
Me: you don't have to worry about me, I can handle my own problems and please don't tell me my mom about it
Teacher Sarah : what are you saying? You are my responsibility I can't just let this go or they will come for you.
Me: you are making a big deal out of nothing
School nurse : hey watch your mouth girl, don't disrespect your teacher .......*while she was still talking I ignored her as I focused on teacher Sarah, they were both surprised by my attitude as teacher Sarah sat there staring at me without saying a word*.
Me : I already told you I can handle my own problems you don't have to act like you cared just because you are being paid for it, I will be happy if you ignore my presence in this school, I'm not a helpless kid who needs help, excuse me.
I walked away to class while they kept staring at me dumbfounded, there was teacher in class as the students shared themselves in pairs, some sat and some were standing gisting and laughing when I got to the entrance of the class all eyes turned to me, some girls sitting close to the window close to the entrance stared at me with disgust.

Girl 1: oh gosh, the drama queen is here
Girl 2: shuhhhhhh... She might hear you

Girl 3: her face is swollen and red, I wonder what happened this time.

While I was heading to my seat I overheard their conversation but ignored it but it was difficult not to listen since my seat was close to theirs but I tried not to reason their case. The bell rang it and the school dismissed, as usual my driver came and pick me up, that night I didn't rest as my parents bombard me with questions.

Mom : what happened to your face sweetie? Who did this to you? Why didn't you report to your home teacher, Sarah? Do you feel pains in your body.
Me : no mom I'm fine, I mistakenly injured myself while playing.
Mom : what kind of play led to this this? *she gently lift my chins up as she was inspecting my face* Baby you do realize your face is red and swollen.
Me : mom please stop worrying, it is swollen because a ball was shot on my face.

*While we were still talking, my dad came out of his room with his towel wrapped around his neck, he just got out of shower after coming from work.

Dad : what happened to you? Why is your face red and swollen?
Me : dad it's nothing important so don't worry

After much discussion we had dinner after which I went to my room to study, mom had some cases in court so she retired to her room while dad stayed up to watch football, I didn't studied for an hour or two before taking out my phone, even though I was given an iPhone it was difficult to operate it, I only knew how to make calls and play songs. I stared at my phone for some minutes which took me back to past, back then......my first phone was a stolen phone which I stole myself from an elderly man, though back then I was 18 years old, I wounded him badly before taking his phone and I had no regrets, it all started when I was on my way home, I heard a voice say "heyssss... Fine girl" I turned to see an elderly man waving at me, I ignored and kept walking, I had no idea he was following me until I heard a similar voice again..."babe no dey do shakara nah, I like see you con like you, heyss... Me: yes mom... *her pampering made me remember my mom from my past life, I became sober which she noticed, she tried asking what the problem was and I gave an excuse "I'm happy that God gave me the best mom in the world". She hugged me tightly for some seconds before letting go, she quickly left. I went to my room and looked for the clothes, they were of different designs and types, I thought to myself that no matter how hard I worked in my past life I wouldn't be able to afford these clothes. I went and showered, dressed and went downstairs to help out. Before long relatives started coming in, I felt nervous since it was my first time meeting them I didn't want to raise any suspicion. From my mother side they were four children (three boys and one girl which is my mom), from my dad side they were three kids (dad is the only son with two sisters). Dad and mom were last born of their respective parents. They were all married with kids, some were of my age while some were older. By 11:40am the whole family were assembled as they were greeting themselves, most of them approached me and I greeted them with a smile.

We all sat down and different dishes were served, I didn't know the one to pick as I observed others but I got noticed by one of the kids who was of my age group, her name is Vanessa, the daughter of dad's eldest sister, she was praised to be talented and beautiful as she held her pride up.

I went for the fried rice and also took a bit of the jollof rice and ate. After lunch we were all set to go out, normally after lunch the family all go outing to different places to have fun until it gets dark. They decided to go to the amusement park before other places, we went to the amusement park in Lekki, after paying for gate fees we got inside, it was splendid and beautiful, people were everywhere and they were different rides, ranging from the horses to the carousel.

*I took a cigarette hanging on my ear and brought out a liter from my bag and lit on the cigarette as I smoked, I slowly opened my mouth letting the smoke out....i was trying to control myself from killing him immediately, he stared at me with a malicious eyes, I stared back while smoking....
Me : Oga bring out my money before this cigar finish unless you wan trouble.
Customer - Wetin be your problem? I don tell you say no money for my hand *I stood up and approached him, I reached for his trouser and put my hand inside his pocket, he tried to resist and I held his trouser tightly as we struggled, he pressed my tits as he tried to push me back, while holding his trouser with one hand I reached for the dagger in my bag and stabbed one of his eyes, he screamed in pain as he held his ees, I quickly brought out my gun shot his leg, he fell down as he groan in pain, I kept the gun back as I punched him on his face, while he was still on the ground he tried to defend himself, I brought out the dagger which was stained with his blood stabbed his palm, I stabbed him on different places making him weak as the floor was covered with blood, I left him lying on the floor as I search the room for money, I found his wallet under his bed with the sum of twenty thousand in it, while searching I found a liter of fuel close to his gen under his bed, I took a clothe and wrapped on his mouth to avoid him from screaming as I poured the fuel on his body, I took my liter and set him on fire. He kept shaking while trying to scream out, I went out and locked the door with his padlock, there was no one home back then he lived in an abandoned building where few old people lived.

I walked away to class, no one stopped me and before long school was over, my driver came to pick me up, after school has closed the school gate was filled with different cars from different people who came to pick the students, it felt like the day wasn't going to end since a lot happened on my first day of school. No matter how long it was I couldn't get use to the luxurious life, it felt like a dream, everyday i would stand at the mirror staring at myself while I secretly prayed that it wasn't a dream.

They sat in a corner far from other students, I was the only one sitting close to them, it seem student were scared to get close to them, they were eight guys from different classes, due to my experience with cultist I saw them as nothing, I didn't bother with their presence, while I was writing notes I heard a voice say *Hey!!!! I didn't bother looking up since I was trying to stay focused, the voice shouted *Hey!!!* again but I remained calm as the female liabrarian came up and warned them to stay quiet. When she left I over heard their conversation.

While she was still talking I interrupted her and said..... "Suspension? Under whose authority?. They shifted their gaze at me, I walked up to the vice president to her face, looked her in the eyes and said....

Me : Who is going to suspend me? Is it the student council? Or maybe you? Vice president as an art student you should know of a thing called "freedom of speech" I have the right as a student to speak, even in a court a case can't be decided without hearing stories from both sides, everything was concluded without hearing my side of the story, for the student council to conclude how the event occurred without listening to both parties isn't that dumb? Just because I gave them a little beating I became the one at fault so then I will ask you a question, If you were eating and I walked up to you and dragged your hair what will be your reaction? Will you gracefully accept the blame and be punished if you retailited?
She didn't reply as she kept starring at me but then again I didn't expect any reply since their pride made them feel like they were above others.
The student council was founded by the Government, they represented the school in various occasions and event, one had to be talented in order to be scouted but then again a competition could be held in order to battle for the position, the student council had some powers over the student if they all voted against a particular student or teacher that student will be suspended and the teacher will be investigated and sacked if found to be wrong.

I didn't care if I would reveal my old self, it was unbearable hearing these kids criticize my actions without explanation, heresy was in place, the ones with talents called the shots.
While I was still talking I heard a loud laugh, it was the dark, tall girl who winked at me earlier in class, I was surprised to see her there, I didn't know she was one of them since she looked ordinary and didn't stand out among the students. I was summoned to the student council after break, before then Stella wouldn't stop shaking, she had this frightened look on her face.

Stella : *she kept going on and fort** what if you get suspended, being in their black list is trouble itself.

Stella : of course I am, nothing good comes from being summoned to the student council.
Me : quit exaggerating.

I went in and he followed, after shutting the door he took me to a room when we got in I quickly forgot we were in school, it was a big room, in the middle of the room there was twelve chairs round a big table, I met the student council, some were sitted chatting, while some were standing doing their own business, one was so concentrated on her phone that she didn't notice my presence. The president was sitted reading a book, when he noticed my presence he called on the others and they all sat down while I still standing, the president spoke first.

President : You're Angel right? *I nodded in response, one of the prefect yelled at me.
Perfect 1 : Are you dumb? Speak up when you are asked a question *It was getting unbearable to deal with this kids, I was starting to lose it but I bit my lips to control my anger, it was bleeding but at least it worked and then I answered the president.
Me : Yes, my name is Angel.
President : As a student of victory high school you know the rules correct?
Me : Yes.
President : you know fighting is prohibited?
Me : I do.
President : Then you know the reason you were summoned correct?
Me : I don't.
**some of them laughed in amusement, the president kept a straight face, it's like the guy never smiles, I noticed how the queen (Vice president) stared at me with contempt, from her stares one could conclude she disliked me.**
President : Alright I will explain.....your first crime was disrespecting the Vice president by sitting on the place where she normally have her lunch, secondly you fought with your fellow student in the dinning hall that's enough to suspend you for a month but we will reconsider since you were recently discharged from the hospital.
*I couldn't hold back as I burst into laughter, the one who were operating her phone looked up, the one playing with his pen was amazed by my action, they saw all stared in shock, the president stared at me with a serious face as I kept laughing, the queen raged by my attitude stood up as she said "such insolence, this girl should be suspended, after suspension she should clean the school environment everyday for a month, this will teach her to respect the student council". *The vice president also known as the queen, she was a beauty with brain, she has won some awards for the school like "best essay writer award, she was awarded for a literature book she wrote, the book was recommended for common entrance, she was a prodigy in literature which was what earned her the seat as the Vice president. While she was still talking I interrupted her.
Me : suspension? Under whose authority? (They shifted their gaze at me).

Why don't you use
"I love this story" Devilpen said and smiled.
Instead of
Devilpen: I love this story........
The first one allows you to add more details to your character reactions than the second one that just go raw...

Just a humble suggestion though, it might not work well with you....
