Hi tradelyn you are not alone in this even I need him .701ecilana has said it all. I don't have an experience with the holy spirit but i advice you not to rush it or force it.The holy spirit is in you u just have to receive. I will recommend how to be led by the holy spirit and growing up spiritually by kenneth hagin they are eye openers they helped me understand some things too. God bless you

You'd have to have him first by being born again, receiving Holy Ghost baptism. Then spell out his mission here on earth.

What is his mission?
He is your teacher. (Find out what he is to teach you)

He is your Helper (what is he helping you to do?)

He is your Comforter (What is he comforting you from)

He is your Advocate (What does it mean to be an advocate?) An advocate is a legal counsel at law. So what does the Holy Spirit acts as your counsellor for?

He is the revealer of the truth( which truth? What is this truth?)

He convicts us of the righteousness of God (What does that mean?)

When you sit down with the Bible and discover all this, and ask him to help you, when you are done, you are done.
At this point, when people dey talk about demons you go dey laugh. because you go don know say, dem know their level, no be every body dem go try.

My dear, Know God, in your journey to Knowing who Christ really is and why he came to earth, you'd know who demons are and why they are here too.

If i may ask, why the interest in demons? Listen brethren, Jesus warns us his followers about enquiring about the secrets of satan. Here is what he said to Apostle John in the Island of Patmos.

Rev. 2:24 “But the rest of you in Thyatira have not followed this evil teaching; you have not learned what the others call ‘the deep secrets of Satan.’ I say to you that I will not put any other burden on you.

Leave those things alone and learn how to have and work with the Holy Spirit. If you have the Holy Spirit, then you have all. 10milliin demons can't stand you if the Holy Spirit is in you.

Enquire into the Holy Spirit, and how to harness him, not demons. You are not called to know demons.
